Hope listens to Ridge's plea.

At Forrester, Ridge chats with Hope. He asks if she spoke to her mom. She says that Brooke texted her asking her to call, but she didn't call back. She asks if everything is OK. Ridge says that he wanted to be the one to tell her that Brooke took a leave of absence from Forrester. Hope is concerned, since she thinks Forrester needs her mom. Ridge assures that Brooke will come back once the media frenzy is over. In the meantime, he wants Hope to get some sense in her life while he works out his issues with Steffy. Hope worries that Steffy pushed Brooke out; Ridge tells her that he made the decision for Brooke's sake and the company's, and Brooke accepted that. It was the only decision he could make under the circumstances. Hope says that her mom's issues aren't her fault, but she understands how overwhelmed Brooke is lately. She asks Ridge if he's going to tell her that the worst part of the whole scandal was the end of her and Brooke's relationship. Pointing out that not having Hope around has taken a toll on Brooke, Ridge urges Hope to come home. Hope turns to leave, but Ridge asks her to consider that what happened at the party was just a case of mistaken identity. Since he forgave Brooke and Hope forgave Oliver, he wants to believe that Hope can forgive Brooke, too. Hope says she and Oliver still working on their relationship. But they're making progress, Ridge points out, because she gave Oliver a chance, and Brooke just wants that same chance. He asks Hope to please give her mom a second chance.

Katie and Donna question their sister's decision.

Donna and Katie drop by Brooke's house, where their sister tells them about her leave of absence from Forrester. Katie and Donna ask Brooke is she was pushed out. She explains that Ridge made the decision to get her out the spotlight and she agreed with it. She then asks to change the subject, so Katie reveals that Bill has a son he never knew about and gives them the details.

Ridge tries to reassure Brooke.

After Donna and Katie leave, Ridge comes home. Brooke asks how his day was and tells him that she sent Hope a text message. Ridge informs her that he knows, since he talked with Hope earlier and she told him about the text. He tells her that he explained about her leave of absence to Hope. Brooke asks what Hope said and is surprised when Ridge reveals that Hope feared her mom was being pushed out. He assures that he told Hope it was his decision, and he tried to make Hope see this leave as a positive. Brooke worries that Hope is angry with both of them now. Ridge tells her to hang in there, but she misses Hope so much.

Jackie and Owen look at Amber's latest designs.

Jackie smooches with Owen in her office and tells him that Bridget went up to Big Bear for a few days. He worries that Bridget is at the cabin alone, but she tells him that Stephanie is there. Amber interrupts when she arrives for a meeting and presents some new designs that need approval. Jackie and Owen are both pleased, but then Nick arrives with Whip and Aggie for the meeting and points out that they need Bridget to sign off on the designs before they send them to the pattern maker in the morning. Owen offers to take the designs up to Big Bear for Bridget to approve, but Nick tells him to just e-mail them. When Jackie points out that Bridget didn't take her computer with her, Owen takes the designs from Amber, kisses his wife goodbye and heads for the cabin.

Bridget makes a confession to Stephanie.

At Big Bear, Stephanie makes some tea and chats with Bridget, asking Bridget what went wrong with her marriage to Nick. She can't believe Nick would walk away from the mother of his child. Bridget tries to find the words to explain and finally blurts out that the baby is Owen's, not Nick's. Waiting for a reaction, she predicts that Stephanie is going to compare her to Brooke, but Stephanie says that she's just disappointed that Bridget would think she'd be so judgmental. She presumes Bridget needed to come here to the cabin to get away from the pressure of keeping the truth about the baby from Owen and Jackie, but Bridget tells her that Owen and Jackie already know. Stephanie is shocked for the second time today, and she is even more shocked when Bridget explains that she, Owen and Jackie will raise this child together. Bridget says that she couldn't have gotten by without Jackie and Owen's support and understanding. On cue, Owen arrives with the designs [having gotten to Big Bear in the blink of an eye]. He explains that they needed to get Bridget's approval on the designs before morning, so he drive up here to get it. Stephanie takes that as her cue to leave, but she first asks Owen to stay for a while so Bridget won't be alone. Owen agrees to stay, so Stephanie heads back to L.A.

Stephanie confronts Jackie.

Stephanie gets back to L.A. [also in the blink of an eye] and goes to Jackie M to see Jackie. Jackie asks Stephanie why she's not with Bridget. Stephanie explains that Owen arrived and agreed to stay with Bridget. Jackie thinks it's wonderful that Owen got there to get the approvals they need. Stephanie reveals that she knows Owen is the father of Bridget's baby and asks Jackie how she can pretend to be OK that her husband is at the cabin with the mother of his child. She is upset about this whole "Three Musketeers" thing Bridget, Owen and Jackie have going. Jackie thinks Stephanie disapproves. Stephanie says she's "dumbfounded" that Jackie would accept being in second place in her husband's life. Jackie floors Stephanie when she says they are all just excited about the arrival of "our" baby.

Owen is shocked when Bridget goes into labor.

At the cabin, Bridget reviews the designs and is happy. She tells Owen that Amber is talented. Owen asks what the story is between her and Amber. Rather than get into detail about all of it, Bridget just dismisses it as ancient history and says she's not one to judge right now. Owen asks her if Stephanie gave her a hard time, but she reveals that Stephanie was surprisingly understanding. Owen asks why she came up here, because he suspects it's more than just R&R. She doesn't answer. Owen calls in the approval for the designs and asks Amber to tell Jackie that he's staying with Bridget for a while. Bridget gives him a look about staying, but he doesn't feel right leaving her there alone. Bridget wonders if she has a point and tells him that she gets nostalgic here because she was delivered in this cabin by Ridge. Owen is surprised. She tells him there are lots of stories she can tell about this cabin, but she just wants to relax now and enjoy the peace and quiet here. She thanks him for being there. Suddenly, she winces in pain. At first, she guesses it is just hunger and suggests they check out the kitchen to see what's there, but then she grunts and groans from the pain and exclaims that she's going into labor!
