The Jackie M team meets Bill Spencer.
Taylor enters Jackie's office looking for Stephanie to tell her that Ridge knows about his invalid marriage. When she sees that Stephanie isn't there, Taylor remembers kissing Ridge in Eric's office earlier. Meanwhile, Stephanie gathers Nick, Jackie, Bridget, Owen and Clarke in Nick's office to meet Bill, who congratulates Nick on luring Stephanie over to Jackie M. Bridget asks Bill about "The Logan Chronicles," since she heard it was his idea. Bill brags that it was one of his better ideas given the buzz the webcast generated. Stephanie tells Bill that she wrote up two more installments for him to publish. Bill is pleased, but he informs her that Donna Logan came to see him and asked him to kill the webcasts. Nick asks how he handled it. Bill explains that he agreed to do it if Donna would do something for her. Sensing what Bill means, Bridget points out that Donna is her father's wife. Bill points out that Donna didn't accept his offer yet and asks Bridget if he can have her number in case he strikes out with Donna. "Don't bother," Bridget scoffs. Stephanie gets an urgent call from Taylor asking to see her immediately, so she excuses herself and dashes off to meet Taylor.

Stephanie learns that Taylor told Ridge the truth.
Stephanie heads to Jackie's office to meet with Taylor, who tells her friend about the video Rick made and about Ridge's reaction to it. Stephanie is appalled about the video, but she's pleased that Brooke, as predicted, once again chose her son over her husband. Taylor admits that she told Ridge that he and Brooke are not legally married. Stephanie asks why she did that now rather than stick to their plan. Taylor explains that she couldn't hold back any longer once she saw how disillusioned Ridge was with what happened today. She's sure that Ridge will be done with Brooke if Brooke sticks up for Rick one more time or makes any more excuses to defend Rick.

Bill gets a tour of Jackie M.
With Stephanie otherwise occupied, Jackie gives Bill the tour of Jackie M. When they return to Nick's office at the end of the tour, Bill thanks his tour guide and flirts with her. Bill then asks Bridget is she was offended by his comments earlier about Donna. Nick thinks Bridget had every right to be offended, but Bridget points out that there's someone in her family who has said much worse. Bill realizes that she's talking about his Internet star, Stephanie. After Bill leaves, Owen asks Nick is he was bothered by Bill's comments to Bridget. Nick thinks Bridget can handle a guy like Bill, but he's not sure the same thing is true about a guy like Owen. Owen asks what that means. Nick advises Owen to see that Bridget is a special lady who needs to be handled with care. Owen finds that advice interesting coming from Bridget's two-time ex-husband and suggests that Nick move on and let Bridget go. "The best thing that you could do is just stay out of her life," Owen insists. Neither man realizes that Bridget is standing outside, listening. Later, Jackie finds Owen in the hall outside her office and corners him, purring that his "kitty" is very hungry.

Nick has a talk with Bridget.
Nick paces in his office as he recalls kissing Bridget the other night. Bridget storms in and asks him why he thinks he has the right to talk to Owen about her. Nick says that he can still protect her, even though he's engaged to Katie, but he then figures out this is about the kiss and admits that he shouldn't have kissed her. Yes it was, Bridget agrees, asking why he hasn't learned from his mistakes. Nick states that he has learned, since no day goes by without him thinking about what he's learned. He confesses that he thinks all the time about what he feels for her and what he feels when he tries to stop feeling about her. Bridget orders him not to say that, as she doesn't want to hear another word.

Donna tells Eric that she went to see Bill Spencer.
Donna comes up to the Forrester Sky Lounge and finds Eric at a table, working. When she tells him that she went to see Bill Spencer, Eric tells her that he doesn't need her sticking up for him. Donna knows and says she's sorry. Eric asks her what Bill said. Donna advises him to steer clear of Bill, but Eric doesn't know if he can do that with Stephanie working so closely with Bill to hurt them. He just wishes he could find a way to get Bill to back off. Eric gets an idea about how to do that and calls Bill to invite him to dinner at the mansion this evening. Bill agrees to come as long as Eric's lovely wife joins them. Absolutely, Eric assures. After Eric hangs up, Donna asks him why he invited Bill to dinner. She fears that the man wants something badly and is nothing but trouble. Meanwhile, Bill packs his bag as he prepares to leave his office. Inside the bag is a thick file labeled "Forrester Creations." He closes the bag and leaves.

Brooke gives Ridge her word that she'll support him.
Brooke finds Ridge in Eric's office and assures him that it's over between Rick and Steffy, but Ridge points out that they've thought that before. Brooke promises that nothing will come between them. She knows he was angry with her before for defending Rick, but she really thought that the the DVD Rick made was a beautiful, generous gesture. Ridge insists that there was nothing beautiful about it, since it was a vile, cold, self-serving, calculated move by Rick to worm his way back into Steffy's life, and he just wishes Brooke could see that. Brooke says that she can't see her son as vile or evil. Ridge admits that he doesn't want to say these things, because he knows this is hard on her, but it sickens him to see Rick use an homage to the daughter he lost as the means to lure his remaining daughter back into his life. That's why he needs Brooke to promise that she'll be by his side supporting him if Rick makes another play for Steffy. Brooke gives him her word, but she hopes this isn't his way of telling her that they're done if Rick and Steffy get together. "Just don't let anything happen between them," Ridge warns. "It's all up to you."

Taylor gives Brooke a warning.
Brooke goes up to the Sky Lounge and is there when Taylor comes looking for Ridge. Brooke tells Taylor that there are no problems with Steffy, but Taylor thinks that will depend on whether or not Rick can keep his word - which so far, he has not. Brooke accuses Taylor of using this situation between Rick and Steffy to make a play for Ridge. Taylor counters that she doesn't have to use anything, because she and Ridge have a family and see eye to eye on a lot of things. Brooke points out that she and Ridge have a family, too, but Taylor suggests that Rick is bitter about the fact that Brooke and Ridge have a family with Hope and R.J. Brooke insists that Rick isn't an issue between Ridge and her anymore, but Taylor doesn't believe her and warns that she'll be there to pick up the pieces with Ridge when Brooke blows it with her marriage.

Ridge confronts his mother.
Downstairs, Ridge confronts his mother about her not telling him that his marriage to Brooke isn't valid. He accuses her of hiding the truth in a strategic attempt to use it to maximum advantage when the time is right, especially since he knows she never wanted him to marry Brooke. Stephanie insists that she just wants him to be happy, and she thinks he would have already headed to City Hall to fix things if he was really happy with Brooke. Ridge says that he and Brooke don't need a piece of paper that shows they are married, but Stephanie points out that he's not married to Brooke, and thus can resume his relationship with Taylor if he wants. Ridge says it's not that simple, but Stephanie thinks that the invalid marriage license is an escape clause from all his issues with Brooke and Rick. She knows he thinks he has this cosmic, predestined connection with Brooke, but maybe it's time he used that way out while he can. Ridge scoffs, but Stephanie tells him to take it seriously, since he and Taylor can present a united front against Rick if they're married, and that would let him keep Steffy safe. It won't be easy, but all it will take is for him to let go of his relationship with Brooke. Ridge is unsure, but Stephanie says that she just wants him to be happy, and she thinks Taylor can make him happy.
