Clarke listens to Stephanie's idea.
Bridget flashes back to kissing Nick last night before entering his new office for a meeting. She asks if she's on time. Nick says she is, but she points out that no one else is here. Nick says she might be early, so Bridget offers to come back, but Nick asks her to stay. As the two of them awkwardly stare at each other, Bridget says this seems weird. Nick tries to ease the tension by asking her opinion of his new office, but it doesn't work, so he apologizes for overstepping last night. Bridget tells him that she appreciated what he said last night, but before she can say any more, Clarke and Stephanie arrive for the meeting. Stephanie asks where Jackie is. "Even later than you are," Nick quips, but Stephanie says that she's never late and wants to get started. Stephanie states that Karen Spencer is still in town, so she's going over to Spencer Communications to pitch a series of articles about Jackie M for EYE ON FASHION. Nick reminds her that all corporate statements have to go through his mother. Stephanie snipes that Jackie should show up for work if she wants a say in what happens here and leaves to meet Karen. Nick notes that his mom still isn't here, so Bridget goes to find her.

Jackie flirts with Owen.
In Jackie's office, she flirts with Owen and caresses his tush. Turning around, Owen tells her that he likes being alone in here with a cougar, but Jackie doesn't like being called that. "Cougars get shot, but house pets get the milk," she purrs. They start to kiss, but they're interrupted by Bridget knocking at the door. Realizing that the door isn't locked, Owen pulls away from Jackie. Bridget comes in and reminds them about the meeting, so they rush to Nick's office. When they arrive, Clarke is wearing a lame wig and trying to convince Nick to promote him as "Monsieur X," but Nick isn't amused. Jackie gripes that Stephanie is late for her own meeting, but Nick tells her that Stephanie already came and went and is on her way to meet with Karen Spencer.

Nick fumes about his mother's attitude.
Later, Jackie brings some models to Nick's office to fit some designs while Nick looks on with disinterest. Jackie asks him to show a little enthusiasm, but Nick thinks he'd be a bit more interested if he knew what was going on with her.

Bridget gets some candid advice.
Owen goes to see Bridget to apologize for last night. He hopes he didn't make her uncomfortable. Bridget assures him that he was charming and dinner was delicious. He wants her to know that he wasn't expecting anything. Bridget quips that he saw how messed up she is, but Owen doesn't think that she's messed up at all, although he feels like she's a bit confused about what she wants. Bridget tells him that she came here after leaving his house and talked to Nick. Owen asks if she's letting the past become the present, but she doesn't think that ever happens since there are no "do-overs" in life. Owen gives her some candid advice and tells her to get over Nick, who messed up two marriages to her and is now engaged to her aunt. He doesn't see any reason for her to think of herself as messed up, even though she's been through a lot and has gone through a string of losers. "I know how to pick 'em," Bridget laughs, but Owen thinks she needs to pick someone else this time and demand better treatment from that guy!

Owen is stunned by Jackie's ultimatum.
Later, Owen goes over to Jackie's loft and finds her soaking in the tub. He asks why she texted him to come over and help her. Jackie laughs that she does need his help to reach a spot she just can't get to herself. Owen wants to talk to her about the conversation he just had with Bridget. She tells him that they can talk about it as soon as removes his clothes and joins her in the tub. Owen says that he's serious, reminding her that she said she was OK about him seeing Bridget. Jackie assures that she is fine with it as long as he's there to meet her needs, too. She then directs him to the table where there's a set of keys to the company car that comes with his position. She purrs that it's a very fast car, so he can rush to be with her when she calls. Owen doesn't know how to thank her. Jackie says that she's the one who should be thanking him for relighting the fire in her. "I'm not ready for it to go out," she laughs. Owen tries to bring Bridget up again, but Jackie calls him over and says that he doesn't have to think about Bridget or anything; he just has to enjoy it. Owen tells her that she's his fantasy, but he's really interested in a woman who he can have a future with. He thinks Bridget needs a man of his word, and he wants to be that man. Jackie warns that he can see Bridget all he wants and even sleep with her, but he'll find himself on the unemployment line if he thinks about putting an end to "us." Owen asks if she would really do that to him. "Of course I would," she smiles.

Bill considers Stephanie's proposal.
Stephanie arrives at Spencer Communications to meet Karen, but she finds Karen's brother Bill sitting at the publisher's desk. Stephanie greets him as Bill, Jr., but he corrects her that it's just "Bill." Stephanie notes that they've never met before, even though she knew his father for years. Bill explains that he and his father had a business relationship, since he never really knew the man growing up. But his father left him half his empire, Stephanie observes. Bill boasts that his father made him earn his place here, a philosophy that Stephanie's ex-husband doesn't share from what he understands. Bill asks Stephanie what brought her by, so she explains that she came by to pitch an idea to Karen. Bill tells her that Karen was called back to New York, but he'd be glad to hear her idea. Stephanie tells him that she'd like to write a series of articles about the industry for EYE ON FASHION. Guessing that she's looking for payback, Bill tells her that she won't find it here, but she urges him not to overlook what could be a lucrative venture for both of them. Bill reads her sample article and likes what he sees. He offers to publish her articles, but only if she accepts his proposal. Bill explains that her articles are up front and honest, so he'd like to publish them as "The Logan Chronicles" and try to bump sales up. At the same time, he thinks old school print magazines are dying, so he'd like to see her work on the web as a blog - or better yet, as a webcast on the EYE ON FASHION web site! He knows this could be explosive, so he hopes she's ready for the fallout. Stephanie tells him that she still has a formidable position in the fashion world, despite what her ex-husband thinks, and she wants to remind Eric of that. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned," Bill muses. "Or a woman who gets even," Stephanie adds. Bill likes the way she thinks and they shake on the deal.

Stephanie does her first webcast.
Bill brings in a web cam and a laptop to set Stephanie up for her first webcast. She looks at the laptop and is impressed by the main page for "INSIDE FASHION WITH STEPHANIE FORRESTER," which heralds her as the "Grand Dame of L.A. Fashion." She admits that she's a bit nervous about doing this off the cuff, so Bill tells her to talk to the camera like she's talking to a friend. As Bill watches on the laptop, Stephanie speaks conversationally into the camera, introducing herself and recounting how she left Forrester and came to work for Jackie M. Explaining that she'll be doing these webcasts about the fashion world each day, she states that she's the "New Stephanie Forrester, A.D." - as in, After Donna. She goes on to state that she'll use these webcasts to take them behind the scenes of the fashion industry and show them how fabulous fashion really is. She's just sorry that her ex-husband, Eric Forrester, seems to have lost sight of that at Forrester Creations since he surrounded himself with a group of bitches in heat. That's brought the quality of Eric's designs down, but they don't have that problem at Jackie M with their dedication to young, fresh ideas. In closing, she wants to send a message to Forrester Creations, and she hopes everyone in the audience will join her. Looking into the camera, she says, "I wouldn't buy Forrester Creations. Would you?"
