Eric has some bad news.
At the Forrester mansion, Donna asks Eric to come to bed, but he's too angry to sleep. Donna advises him not to let Bill Spencer get to him, but Eric says that it's too late. Donna asks if the phone call he got when Bill was there was bad news. Eric confirms that it wasn't good, since the call was to let him know that two of the largest boutiques in New York won't carry their fall line.

Bill learns who his drunken guest is.
In his hotel room, Bill covers a conked-out Katie with a blanket. A woman comes to the door to drop off the purse Katie left at the bar in Cafe Russe when she left with Bill. After checking the woman out, Bill thanks her and takes the purse from her. Going through the purse, Bill finds Katie's wallet and is amused when he sees that she's Donna's little sister. Finding Katie's cell phone, he calls his "little barracuda" Donna and tells her to come right over. Donna threatens to call the police to report him for harassment, but Bill smugly tells her to check out the caller ID. Seeing that Bill is calling from her sister's phone, Donna bolts out the door.

Stephanie has no sympathy for Eric.
Stephanie drops by the mansion at Eric's request. Eric calls her out for getting in his face with her blogs. Stephanie is amused that he's bothered by her success on her own terms and gloats that she has to say "I told you so" about his floundering company. Eric asserts that her so-called success is letting Bill Spencer drive nails into Forrester's coffin and warns Stephanie not to let Bill use her, but Stephanie chuckles that she's looking at the only man to make a fortune on her back. Eric tells her that her blogs and articles have cost Forrester 35% of their Manhattan area retail space, and he's sure it won't stop there. Stephanie laughs that it's karma, not Bill, that's biting Eric in the butt, but Eric tells her that karma didn't offer him $100 million for Forrester and threaten to reduce the offer if he didn't accept now. He accuses Stephanie of embarrassing herself, since her gossip-filled blogs are letting Bill steal her children and grand-children's legacy. "Is that how you really want your 'success on your terms' to be?" Eric spits.

Katie wakes up after getting drunk.
Donna arrives at Bill's suite and sees Katie passed out on the bed. She asks Bill if he drugged Katie, but Bill says that Katie tied one on at the bat. Donna awakens her soused sister, who slowly comes to and starts to cry when she sees Donna. Donna accuses Bill of getting Katie drunk and dragging her back here, but Katie insists that nothing happened with Bill. Donna asks Katie why she got drunk, so Katie explains that she left Nick. Donna tells Katie that she's so sorry to hear that and tries to comfort her, but Katie starts to feel ill and runs to the bathroom to throw up. Donna follows her sister and comes out to tell Bill that she had to wash Katie's soiled shirt in the sink. Bill offers her a plastic bag for Katie's shirt and asks her what Katie is going to wear. Donna says that she'll give Katie her shirt and she'll wear Katie's jacket. She asks Bill to turn around so she can change, but Bill thinks he earned the chance to "watch the show" by letting Katie pass out in his bed and puke in his bathroom and having Donna accuse him of rape. Sitting down in a chair, he looks at Donna and chuckles, "Any time you're ready."

Donna is stunned by Bill's attitude.
Donna says she'll change in the bathroom, but she finds the door locked. Bill offers her a shirt for Katie to wear. He then asks her why she married Eric. She answers that she loves Eric. Bill quips that he loves the Mona Lisa, and that's old, too, just like Eric. Donna asks why he's being so ugly after doing something nice like taking care of her sister. She wants to thank him for taking care of Katie and for calling her to come get Katie. Bill notes that she said she wants to thank him and tells her to go ahead and do it. He leans in to kiss her. Donna pulls away, but not immediately.

Owen and Jackie are revealed as a couple.
At Owen's place, Bridget and Nick are stunned to see that Owen and Jackie are an item. Jackie is flattered when Bridget realizes that Jackie is the woman Owen told her about that he's involved with, but Nick wants to know why he's just hearing about this. Jackie reminds her son that he told her to find a new interest. "Couldn't you have taken up knitting or cards, something grandmothers do?" Nick asks. Nick then asks Owen how he could see Jackie and Bridget at the same time. Owen points out that he wasn't engaged to anyone, plus he figured Jackie would get sick of him quickly. Jackie reminds him that she warned that Bridget still had feelings for Nick. Nick gripes about all the perks Owen got, but Jackie tells him to let it go and take Bridget home before she slips through his fingers once again.

Nick makes a promise to Bridget.
Nick takes his mother's advice and takes Bridget to the Marone mansion. When they get there, Nick goes upstairs to look for Katie. While Nick is looking, Bridget finds the note that Katie left. Nick returns and reports that Katie is not upstairs. Bridget hands Nick the note; after reading it, Nick realizes that Katie wanted to give him and Bridget their lives back and decided to leave him. "She's not coming back," Nick states. "She knows that being married to you is the life that I wanted." Bridget tells him that she's not sure she can do this. She knows he loves her, and she feels the same way, but she fears that learning to trust him again will be hard. She wants a life with him, but she doesn't know if wanting is enough. Nick laments that they had it all. He had the woman he loved, and even though they lost a child, it was replaced with beautiful little boy they both love. But then he screwed up, and now he hopes she can forgive him.

Bridget tells Nick she'll need to trust him again.
Bridget tells him that she already forgave him, but Nick isn't sure if that's true. He doesn't think they would be having this conversation if she had completely forgiven him. Bridget sighs that she just doesn't know if she can do this. Nick tells her that he's so sorry that she killed any hope she held inside her and hurt her so badly. But saying it and doing it are two different things, so he vows to be the man he promised to be when they got married, the man he knows he can be. He wants to raise Jack and be an example to him, and to prove to Bridget that he can be true and faithful to her. Pulling her into an embrace, he tells her that he thinks she knows deep down that no one loves her or understands her the way he does. Bridget warns that it's not all going to come back at once. Nick says he understands. Bridget tells him that there will be days when she needs proof of his feelings. Nick is fine with that, since he's willing to do whatever it takes to give her what she needs. She tells him that being faithful will bring her home again. "You already are home," Nick sighs, kissing her. Picking her up, he carries her to the bedroom, where they undress and make love. As they get caught up in their passion, Bridget whispers to Nick, "Don't break my heart again."
