Bridget tells Nick to stop stressing over his mother and Owen.
Nick calls Bridget to his office for a meeting, but she finds that the "meeting" is actually a make-out session. Bridget asks Nick if he's sure there wasn't something else he wanted to talk about - like the doodles of Owen she finds on the pad on his desk? Nick admits that Owen bugs him, especially since he tried to fire the guy and Jackie came to his rescue. He quips that he'll probably feel better after he kills Owen. Bridget tells Nick to take his jacket off and forget about his mom and Owen, but he can't do that. He just hopes Jackie comes to her senses soon and ends this thing. Bridget points out that Jackie and Owen could be down the hall, doing the same thing they're doing here. Nick doesn't even want to think about that, and he doesn't think he has to since his mother is working at home today - or at least, she better be. Nick tries to get back to work, but he's clearly distracted. Bridget suggests that he call his mother, but he decides to go over to Jackie's to make sure "Mr. Six-pack" isn't hanging around.

Owen asks Jackie to move in with him.
At Jackie's place, she and Owen are still kissing. Laughing, they chat about what what they're each getting out of their relationship. "There isn't a car in the world with a chassis this hot," Owen raves about Ms. M. Before they know it, they're between the sheets having sex. When Owen tells her she's wearing him out, Jackie asks if he's tired. Not of her, Owen responds, telling her that he won't give her up for anybody. She assumes he's talking about Nick. Owen frets that Nick is constantly on his case about being with her. Jackie laughs about their making out on Nick's desk earlier, but Owen doesn't think it would be funny were Nick to find about that. He thinks they have to make Nick realize how much they care about each other, so he suggests that Jackie move in with him. Jackie laughs, but Owen says he's serious. Jackie is tempted, but she thinks it would make more sense for him to move in with her. As Jackie puts on a robe, Owen wraps his mind around the idea of moving in here. Jackie reminds him that his beach house is very expensive, and he's hardly there, plus he helped her pick out the loft. "I want you with me all the time," she purrs. Owen tells her that there's no place he'd rather be than with her and kisses her. They both start laughing and hit the sheets again.

Jackie begs Nick not to make her choose between him and Owen.
Just as Jackie and Owen finish making love, Nick lets himself in with his key, and he's shocked to find his mother lying naked with Owen. "Playtime is over!" he exclaims, ordering "beach bum" Owen to get his clothes on and leave. Owen points out that Jackie didn't ask him to leave. Nick tells him to shut up, get dressed and get out, but Jackie tells her son not to give any orders. Still, she wants a word with Nick alone, so she asks Owen to leave. Once Owen exits, Jackie scolds her son for barging into her home and tells him never to do it again, especially now that Owen is moving in. Nick seethes at the news that Owen is moving in, even after Jackie tells him that it was her idea. Nick warns that she'll get hurt, since her fling with "Mr. Six-pack" isn't going to last. Jackie agrees that it probably won't last, but she intends to enjoy every moment of it while she can. She asks Nick to please accept this. She reminds him that she spent years watching everyone else, including him, have a life while hers withered away to nothing. But Owen makes her feel young and free and alive, and she sees nothing wrong with that. Nick says that he thought she'd want to be with someone more... Jackie finishes his sentence, assuming he's going to say "appropriate," and tells him that she doesn't want to change anything about Owen. Nick fears Owen is taking advantage of her. Jackie scolds him for coming in here demanding that she choose, because he knows she'll always choose him as her son. "Please, don't make me choose," she begs. Nick leaves, while Owen watches from the top of the stairs.

Bill dangles his offer in front of Donna.
In Ridge's office, Donna asks Bill if he'll really back off from Eric if she spends one night with him. When Bill confirms, Donna asks what's in it for him. "A night I won't forget with a woman I won't forget," Bill answers, but Donna thinks this is just a power trip for him, with him acting like a puppet master making them all dance. Bill strokes her face and tells her that he only wants one of the dancers, but Donna pulls away and says that there won't be a romantic evening with her. Bill hopes Eric is ready to sell if that's the case. He tells Donna to enjoy her night with her honey bear, since there won't be many more after tonight.

Eric and Stephanie turn down Bill's offer.
In Eric's office, he and Stephanie wrestle with the choice Bill has given them. Eric refuses to sell the company, but Stephanie fears he might have to. Donna returns with Bill, who asks Eric for his decision. Eric refuses to sacrifice his family's legacy just to keep himself safe and says he's not selling. Bill again threatens to expose Eric, but Stephanie thinks they can put a spin on any accusations Bill makes about them. Donna tells Eric not to do this, since she thinks she can resolve this if she only had one more night. Eric insists that he has made up his mind, but Bill agrees to give Donna the one additional night she asked for. Alone with Donna, Eric tells her that he knows what she is doing, but he has made up his mind. He'd rather spend a lifetime in jail than to see Bill own the company, and he doesn't see what difference one night could make. Donna suggests that he talk to his children, like he did when Nick bought the company, but Eric is sure his kids would tell him to sell. Donna sobs that she almost lost him once, so she can't bear to lose him again if he has to go to jail. "I won't let that happen!" she weeps, hugging him. After Donna leaves, Stephanie returns. Eric muses that times like this remind them of how important family is; he refuses to let go of this company for the family. Stephanie urges him to be realistic, but Eric thinks the company can go on without him if he doesn't give it up.

Bill offers to save Donna from the inevitable.
When Donna arrives at Bill's hotel suite, he has candles lit and champagne poured, with dinner on the way. "I promised you an evening to remember," he says, offering her some champagne. When Donna doesn't drink any champagne, Bill asks if he can be honest with her. He tells her that her honey bear is a sweet guy, but he's also a stuttering old man who will tire of her and go back to Stephanie eventually, just as he has before. Donna doesn't believe him, but Bill points out how passionately Stephanie has leaped to Eric's defense. He tells Donna that Eric and Stephanie not only share a family and children, but they also share a lot of history and the emotion that comes with it, and that's something Donna will never share with Eric. Donna is still skeptical, so Bill reminds her how Eric left Brooke, Sheila Carter and Lauren Fenmore, only to go back to Stephanie, and he predicts that it's about to happen again. "Don't be another one of Eric's discards," Bill advises. He guesses that she came here not to give herself to him, but to talk him out of this. Coming up behind Donna, he tells her that he doesn't like many people, but he likes her, which is why he wants to save her from the inevitable. He implores her to stay with him tonight and save not only her husband and Forrester, but also herself.
