Bridget gives Nick a seductive invitation.
Wearing a blue bathrobe, Nick comes into his bedroom and wakes up Bridget, who giggles that she wants him to come back to bed. Nick chuckles that he might come back after he showers, but Bridget laughs that she wants him back now. Before Nick can answer, Bridget gets a call on her cell, so he tells her to take her call while he showers. Bridget answers the call and finds that it's Owen, who needs a favor from her. He asks her to talk to Nick, because he's afraid Nick is going to fire him from Jackie M. Bridget notes that he is really intimidated. Owen admits that he is, and he hates it, but he doesn't else to do knowing that Nick wants him out of Jackie's life. That's why he needs Bridget to put in a good word for him. Bridget thinks she can do that and more and asks if Nick's schedule is clear this morning. Owen checks the computer and sees that Nick and Jackie are meeting the accountants at 10:30 AM, but he lies that Nick's schedule is all clear. Bridget tells him she'll try to work on Nick. Owen thanks her and tells her that he owes her for this. Bridget assures that she intends to collect and tells him she'll talk to him later. When Nick returns from his shower, he finds Bridget sitting in bed wearing a skimpy teddy and holding a bowl of strawberries. She seductively tells him that she checked and his schedule is clear this morning. Nick crawls into bed and agrees that breakfast is the important meal of the day, and they kiss each other and make love.

Nick wants to keep an eye on Owen.
After they have sex, Bridget grins that they found a great way to start the day and asks Nick if he wants to go for the hat trick. Nick says he can't, since he has work to do. Bridget reminds him that he has the morning free, but he wants to keep an eye on Owen. Bridget asks him to cut Owen some slack, since he's doing a good job at Jackie M and is making Jackie very happy. Nick confides his fear that Owen is a young stud out to take his mother for a ride. Bridget thinks Jackie would be insulted if she heard him say that, so Nick suggests that they not tell his mother about that.

Jackie flirts with Owen before her meeting.
Meanwhile, Owen and Jackie canoodle in her office. Jackie wants to lock the door, but Owen fears Nick will have a fit if he finds a locked door when he arrives. Jackie realizes that Nick should have already arrived, since they are meeting with the accountants this morning. She asks Owen to call Nick. Owen picks up the phone, but he holds the bar down on the phone as he pretends to dial Nick's number. Owen fibs that Nick's phone is going to voicemail, so Jackie thinks they should start without Nick.

Owen's ears perk up as the accountants talk with Jackie.
As Jackie invites the accountants in, she wonders where Nick is. Owen offers to take notes for Nick. Jackie whispers to him not to distract her. She then informs the accountants that her chief of staff, Owen, will be filling in for Nick, who was called away on last-minute business. The accountants don't see a problem, since Jackie owns the company and not Nick. Owen's ears perk up upon hearing that. When the meeting is about to end, one of the accountants tells her that she needs to update her estate planning. Jackie tells him that nothing has changed, with all her worldly belongings going to Nick. The accountant asks what will happen if she remarries, but Jackie doesn't see that happening. With that matter settled, the accountants leave while Jackie smiles and gleefully smiles and looks at Owen

Ridge tells Brooke that he's moving out.
Ridge comes home and finds Brooke waiting for him with a hug. She asks how he is. Ridge tells her that a night at Big Bear was just what he needed. Brooke is glad he had some time alone, but Ridge tells her that he was with Taylor. Brooke is shocked that he would run to Taylor after leaving here. Ridge explains that he went to Phoebe's grave and ran into Taylor there. He's glad he found her there, because she understood what he's feeling. "And I don't," Brooke sighs, asking Ridge if he feels that way because she supports her son. Ridge fumes that Rick's arrogance and lack of concern caused Phoebe's death, and there's no spin Brooke can put on that to change his mind. He'll always hate Rick, who Brooke lets enter and leave their home freely, and he can't live with that. He explains that seeing Rick with Steffy as he stormed out made him so upset that he thought he'd lose it. Brooke tells Ridge that she wants to support him and Rick, but Ridge doesn't think that's possible, and that's what drove him crazy last night. He doesn't even remember how he got to Phoebe's grave, and he's just grateful that Taylor was there to keep him from bottoming out. Brooke thinks that Taylor must have known he was on the verge of a breakdown. Ridge states that Taylor cared for him, even though he didn't ask her to, and she helped him find the joy and peace he desperately needed to feel again. Things were so clear for him there, and he realized that he couldn't live with Rick's incessant pursuit of Steffy anymore. Brooke assures him that Rick is trying to change and asks him to forgive Rick, just as Rick forgave Thomas, but Ridge fears that any "forgiveness" Rick gave Thomas was part of some sick plot. He frets that thinking about that now that he's back makes his head spin. After losing a daughter, he needs his wife's support, but he hasn't gotten it. That's why he needs Brooke to take a stand against Rick before he loses another daughter. Brooke insists that Rick is not the root of all evil and says that she can't change that Rick is her son. Ridge recognizes that, which is why he has to move out.

Taylor tells Stephanie about her time at Big Bear with Ridge.
Stephanie meets Stephanie at Il Giardino to tell her friend about the time she spent with Ridge at Big Bear. She raves about how happy Ridge was. Stephanie comments that Taylor has always brought joy to Ridge and just wishes her number one son could see that. Taylor thinks he does see it, since he's leaving Brooke. Stephanie is thrilled as Taylor explains about the epiphany Ridge had at the cabin, For the first time in years, Taylor has hope that Ridge sees he can be happy in his life without Brooke. Stephanie urges Taylor to take advantage of this moment, but Taylor doesn't thinks she has to, since Ridge is coming back her without her doing anything.

Stephanie urges Taylor to take advantage of thie moment.
Stephanie worries about Ridge, since it sounds like he was unraveling from what Taylor described. Taylor states that she saw in Ridge's eyes that he saw a future without pain in it. A future with a woman who wants what's really best for him, Stephanie qualifies. Taylor states that it was different with Ridge this time, because he kissed her. She marvels at how close she and Ridge were, and she felt the spark between them that she thought they'd lost over the last few years. Now that they found that spark, she's sure Ridge is going to come back to her.

Brooke tries to convince Ridge to stay.
A shocked Brooke begs Ridge to stay and fix things, but he explains that he's constantly haunted by memories of Rick bringing him to the spot where Phoebe died. Brooke offers to help him get through that, but Ridge doesn't think she can. He loves her so much, but at the same time, he's dying with her because of Rick, and that sucks the life out of him. He muses that last night, he felt alive at Big Bear, but he's getting ill now that he's back because he knows she can't separate herself from her son. Brooke asks him to step back and consider how much they love each other, because she's sure that can get them through this. Ridge says that he's tried, but Rick keeps getting in their way. Brooke insists that Rick is not fighting them anymore, but Ridge fears that Rick is using Steffy against him. Brooke thinks that's hatred talking and warns that his hatred of Rick will ear him alive, whether they are together or not, She begs him to stay rather than take his anger and walk out the door, because she refuses to let things end this way. "I'm not gonna let you go. We're going to stay together," she states.
