Katie and Donna find Pam "hard at work."
While Pam watches her favorite game show, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, on her laptop at her desk (and plays along, making comments on each bid made by the contestants), Donna and Katie arrive for a meeting. The sisters notice Pam "hard at work" with her game show viewing and get in a few digs before entering Eric's office to meet with Thorne and Felicia.

Felicia and Thorne worry about their sales figures.
The Forrester siblings have graphs and charts that clearly show the financial state of their company: their sales are down, while Jackie M is gaining on them thanks to their mother. "We have to find a new way to get the Forrester name out there," Thorne declares. While the foursome discusses ways to make them look exclusive but not elitist so they can reach a more mainstream audience, Pam overhears and comes up with an idea. She makes a call to get the phone number for the producers of THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

Pam explains her plan to Donna.
Later, Donna pops into the hallway and finds Pam still watching PRICE IS RIGHT and yelling at the screen. Annoyed, Donna tells Pam to finish watching in the break room. Pam asks Donna why she doesn't like THE PRICE IS RIGHT. Donna reminds Pam that watching the game cost Brooke her marriage when Pam put the winning bid on the license form instead of Brooke's social security number. "Oops," Pam sheepishly mutters, apologizing and turning back to the screen. Donna doesn't understand why the contestants are so excited, so Pam explains the rules of the game. Donna thinks it's simple and predicts what the contestant should do, but Pam shows it's harder than it looks by making a different suggestion that turns out to be right. Pam goes on to rave about the show and its "hottie" host, comedian Drew Carey, but Donna isn't interested unless Carey can help improve their sales. Pam says that she overheard what was said in the meeting about getting the Forrester name out there and suggests that they use THE PRICE IS RIGHT to do it by having the popular game show showcase designs by Forrester. Donna scoffs at the idea, but Pam thinks it's the perfect way to build a customer base, plus she might get the chance to meet Drew Carey. Pam then gets a call from the show's producers to come to the CBS studios to meet with them. Donna points out that a receptionist can't make deals for the company. "Try and stop me, Goldilocks," Pam laughs as she bolts off, ready to "come on down!" Donna tells Pam to wait and chases after her.
As they arrive at CBS Television City, Pam scolds Donna for driving too slowly. They go to the security gate, where Pam tells the guard her name. The guard says that he doesn't see Pam's name on the appointment list, but Pam asks him to check again. The guard looks through his list and finds a note that the producer Pam was supposed to meet is unavailable, as he had to prepare for the taping. Pam begs the guard to let her in, since the audience for the game is still lining up nearby, but the guard says he can't. Pam looks at Donna and blames her for making them late by driving too slowly.

Bridget asks Nick why he's rushing off to the office.
Bridget and Nick wake up after their night of celebrating and love-making. Nick is anxious to get to the office since Owen won't be there, but Bridget doesn't think he has to rush off just yet and pulls him back to bed for some more canoodling. When they're done, Nick gets out of bed to get dressed, but Bridget needs to wait a while as she can barely move after their wild celebration. Nick says that he wants to get to the office to make sure Owen doesn't worm his way back into the building; he fears Owen might sucker Jackie into softening and changing her mind about firing him. Bridget asks Nick what else he can do, since he already got Owen canned. Nick vows to do whatever it takes to keep Owen out of Jackie's life.

Owen helps Jackie get ready for work.
Meanwhile, Jackie and Owen are in her bed, getting busy between the sheets to celebrate their engagement. Owen bets that Nick will be in for a big surprise when he finds out that they're engaged. Jackie gripes about his bringing that up, but Owen thinks Nick needs to be told. Jackie agrees and promises to tell Nick when she gets to the office, and the two of them get passionate again. Soon after, they climb out of bed. Clad only in his skimpy underwear, Owen helps Jackie get dressed for work. Owen kisses her and asks if he can have his job back now that they're engaged, but he quickly tells her that he was only joking. Jackie doesn't think Nick would find that funny, as he'd suspect Owen of using this engagement to improve his position. "What position do you want me in?" Owen laughs. Jackie says that she wants him by her side at Jackie M eventually, but she needs to convince her stubborn son to "change course" first. Owen agrees to be patient while she works on Nick. Jackie notes that they'll have plenty to deal with once people find out about their engagement, and she and Owen joke about how jealous everyone will be of them once word gets around. Jackie likes the way that sounds and starts to hug and kiss her fiance in the middle of the kitchen.

Bridget learns that Owen proposed to Jackie.
Later, Bridget arrives at work and finds Owen in Jackie's office. She assumes he's there to pack his things, but he tells her that he's waiting to take Jackie to lunch. Bridget is surprised he's still seeing Jackie after he got fired, since she doesn't think Nick will change his mind about Owen's place in Jackie's life. Owen suggests that circumstances might change Nick's mind for for him. Bridget asks Owen if he's up to something, but Owen deflects the question by asking Bridget about the ring she's sporting on her finger. Bridget confesses that Nick popped the question to her. Owen congratulates her and tells her that he hopes she's happy. Bridget thanks him. Owen suggests that there must be something in the air, since engagements are popping up all over the place. Bridget asks if he's saying what she thinks he is; Owen confirms that he proposed to Jackie, and he bets that Jackie is probably telling Nick right now.

Nick is furious about his mother's news.
Jackie enters Nick's office and finds him sending one of the models off after approving a design. She sees the smile on his face and asks why he's in such a good mood. Nick brags that they can all concentrate on work now that Owen is gone; Jackie quickly turns the diamond on her ring around so Nick can't see it. When Nick notes that they can get this company back on track now that Owen isn't here trying to take advantage, Jackie says she's glad he's feeling so positive. Nick says he's feeling positive about a lot of things and asks his mother how she feels about June weddings. Jackie quickly figures out that he proposed to Bridget again. Nick tells his mother how grateful he is that Bridget gave him a second chance and promises to try not to blow it this time. Jackie says she's delighted, but Nick senses that she's holding back. Jackie says she's worried that the engagement came so fast, but Nick insists that he and Bridget want this. Jackie hesitantly congratulates him. Nick notes that this wedding will be drama free, especially since Owen won't be there. Jackie asks him to stop badmouthing Owen, who isn't out of her life. Nick bets that Owen won't stick around now that he's been fired, but Jackie thinks Owen will in fact stick around, and there's nothing Nick can do about it. When Nick continues to bash Owen, Jackie turns her ring around and reveals that Owen proposed. "He wants me for the rest of our lives," she boasts. Enraged over the news, Nick cries out, "No!" and angrily knocks things off his desk. He then demands that Jackie tell him where Owen is.
