Bridget and Nick discuss his mother and Owen.
As Bridget sits on Nick's lap in his office, she sees he's distracted. Nick tells her that he's bothered by his mother and Owen and asks if she thinks Owen is a con man. Bridget recalls that Owen pursued Donna when Eric was in a coma, which only serves to raise Nick's suspicions that Owen is looking to Jackie for a comfortable lifestyle. Getting up from Nick's lap, Bridget suggests that he's being a bit harsh on Owen. She reminds him that they owe Owen a debt, since they might not be together if he hadn't gotten jealous of Owen and rushed to his beach house that night. Nick thinks he might let Owen live because of that and kisses Bridget. Bridget asks if he really thinks Owen is using Jackie. Nick states that his mother is blinded right now, and Owen has her right where he wants her. Still, he thinks his mother will get bored with Owen in time and go looking for a man she can count on and trust, because Owen won't be able to give her those things.

Owen and Jackie discuss their future.
At Jackie's loft, Owen frets that Nick will keep trying to find a way to drive him out of her life and out of the company. Jackie thinks they should have expected that kind of reaction, since many people will be put off by the idea of an older woman with a younger man. She asks Owen to consider that they don't have a traditional relationship, which brings certain realities because of the age difference between them. Owen asks her to elaborate, so she points out that he wants a family and children while she's long past the time where she could have or care for a baby. Owen understands what she's saying, but he thinks the only limitations on their relationship are those that they decide to put on it. He agrees that he wants to raise a child someday, but he thinks there are alternatives that will allow them to do that, like adoption. Jackie is surprised that he would want to adopt, but Owen thinks it's the perfect answer for a couple like them. Jackie realizes that he's serious. Owen explains that he's not saying that they have to adopt right away. He just wants to stop thinking of reasons why they can't be together and start thinking about why they can. He admits that the whole "boy toy" thing was fun at first, but he wants more, and he's found that my taking this amazing, unpredictable ride with her. "You are the best thing that has ever come into my life," he declares, "and I want more." Jackie is moved and gives him a big hug. She recalls how not too long ago, she was a lonely woman, and she was hiding from almost everyone. She tried to throw herself into her work or her grandson, but she found that she was terribly boring. But then Owen came into her life and changed that. Now she's happy, and she owes it all to him! Wondering how she, or any woman for that matter, could not want more out of a relationship, she passionately kisses Owen.

Jarrett is still stunned that Eric would hire illegal workers.
In Bill's office, he looks over the evidence that he and Jarrett gathered, convinced that he has enough to put "Mr. Squeaky Clean" Eric away for a long time. Jarrett is still stunned that Eric would hire illegal workers, and he thinks Eric's practice is unfair to those of them who got green cards legally. Bill tells him to keep digging, since he wants to find anything remotely incriminating against Eric. Jarrett asks Bill if he hopes to use this to get control of the company. Bill says that's his goal, but he has something else in mind, too. He looks at a photo of Donna on the cover of an issue EYE ON FASHION and decides that it's time to pay Eric a visit.

Donna tears into Stephanie for giving Bill information about Eric.
At Forrester, Eric asks Stephanie what Bill said. Stephanie tells him that Bill knows what he did and is on his way over. Eric wonders if Bill is bluffing, but Stephanie tells him that his kind nature toward people like Claudia Cortez and Bobby is going to get them in trouble now. Eric states that he knew it was wrong, but he wanted to give those people a head start, even though he knew it bothered Stephanie. Stephanie thinks she should have at least tried to stop him, but Eric kids that she couldn't say no to him. Donna interrupts this tender moment and asks what's going on. Eric explains that Bill Spencer has somehow learned that he has been hiring illegal workers. He did it for good reasons, but he might have to go to jail for it now that Bill is onto him. Stephanie laments that Bill got the information after hearing something she said. Donna rages at Stephanie, calling her an idiot for giving Bill ammunition to hurt this company! Stephanie points out that Bill is only speculating about what is going on here. Eric again says that Bill might be bluffing, but Donna is scared that Bill is a dangerous man. Stephanie tells Donna to keep her mouth shut once Bill arrives.

Eric and Stephanie turn down Bill's offer.
Right on cue, "Dollar Bill" arrives and wants to get down to business. Eric insists that he's not selling his company, but Bill thinks he might want to reconsider when he sees what Bill has on him. He has proof that shows that Eric hired illegal workers and details exactly how Eric went about it, and he'll bring that evidence to the authorities if Eric does not sell him Forrester Creations on his terms. Eric says that this is extortion, but Bill says he is just playing hardball and reveals his latest offer to buy the company. He notes that the amount he's offering Eric has gone down to $60 million, and it might keep going down in time. Eric says that Forrester is a family business that is not for sale and tears up Bill's sales contract. Bill laughs that the company would have stayed in the family had Stephanie not gone soft on him. Donna asks what that means, leading Bill to realize that Donna does not know that Stephanie tried to benefit from his plan to acquire Forrester. Stephanie tells Bill that he may think he holds all the cards, but they have survived worse as a family. She thinks Eric is right that this is a family business, and she intends to make sure it stays that way, with Eric remaining in charge. Bill laughs at her attempt to take him on and boasts that he has coveted Forrester for years. Now he has the means to make Eric and his illegal employees suffer. Eric calls him a small and cruel man, but Bill says he's just a businessman who doesn't get caught up in emotions. Stephanie counters that Eric is decent and kind, unlike Bill. Bill tells Eric and Stephanie to take a couple of minutes alone to make a decision, since they perpetrated this fraud together. He leaves, with Donna right behind. Alone with Eric, Stephanie says they're in quite a mess. Eric says he made the decision originally, so it's his responsibility; either he sells the company or goes to jail.

Bill tells Donna how to save her husband.
Bill and Donna go into Ridge's office, where Donna scolds Bill for doing this to her husband. Bill reminds her that she can make this all go away. All she has to do is spend one night with him and he'll call off the dogs and leave Eric alone. Donna calls him disgusting, but Bill doesn't think he's such a bad guy. He tells her that he's intrigued to find out what makes a woman like her want to be with Eric, since he can't figure it out. Donna snipes that he's too superficial to understand. Bill tells her that there is something different about her from the other women he sees every day, and that makes him wish she wasn't married. He'd love to romance the pants off her, he states, adding that Eric is a very lucky man. But Eric won't be lucky if he's robbed of his company or sent to jail, Donna points out. Bill tells Donna to give him a chance to show her what a great guy he is; he wants to give her the most incredible evening of her life, and in return, she'll be giving her husband a chance to hold onto everything he holds dear. "So what's it gonna be, my little barracuda?" he asks.
