Felicia and Thorne meet Bill Spencer.
Eric calls Thorne and Felicia to his office to talk to him and Stephanie about possible title changes at the company, but Felicia insists that he's not going to jail. Bill arrives and notes that Eric has his kids there. "You must be Felicia," he laughs, looking her up and down. "You must be the rat," she jabs back. Bill takes exception to that and asks Eric for his decision. Eric insists he's not selling. Bill presents the mock-up cover of the next issue of EYE ON FASHION showing Eric behind bars and warns that this will hit the newsstands unless Eric agrees to sell, but Eric holds firm.

Eric, with Donna beside him, turns Bill down again.
Bill asks Thorne and Felicia if they believe that their father is willing to go to jail for hiring undocumented workers. Stephanie asks Bill if he's threatening to turn Eric in to the INS unless he sells the company for a fraction of its worth. "Bingo!" Bill gloats. Stephanie calls that extortion. Bill says she can call it whatever she wants, but the bottom line is that he'll use all his resources to put Eric in jail unless he sells the company. Felicia and Thorne urge their dad to take the offer, but Eric refuses to cave to extortion and shreds the sales contract. Feeling that Eric forced his hand, Bill takes out his cell phone to call his printer to go to press, but Stephanie advises him to wait and buzzes Pam to send "them" in. Stephanie then goes to the door and greets Eric's lawyer Gloria and one of their other attorneys. She then takes a recorder out of her pocket and hands it to Gloria, informing Bill that she thought they should have a record of their meeting. "You didn't really think you were smarter than me?" Stephanie gleefully asks. After Stephanie plays the tape, Gloria agrees that they have enough to press charges against Bill. Bill points out that it won't keep Eric out of jail, but Stephanie counters that it will put Bill in a cell right next to Eric. She suggests that Bill take his east coast hot air blackmail tactics and slink on out of there. Bill asks Stephanie how she can defend Eric after what he did to her. Stephanie explains that they always put their family squabbles aside and come together, especially to put an arrogant son of a bitch like him down. Bill warns that in his world, he keeps fighting until he's the last man standing, so this isn't over by any means. "We're just getting started," he declares before he leaves.

Stephanie is surprised by Eric's request.
With Bill gone, Stephanie, Eric, Donna, Thorne and Felicia celebrate their victory. As Thorne and Felicia share a warm embrace with their parents, Donna watches and slips out of the office. After thanking their mother again, Thorne and Felicia get back to work, leaving Eric alone in the office with Stephanie. Eric tells her how impressed he was with what she just did, praising that she's the most complicated, frustrating, fascinating woman he ever met. Stephanie laughs that he's still a louse, a cheat and a philanderer. Eric says that he still loves her, too, and gives her a quick kiss. "Come back to me," he asks a surprised Stephanie.

Bill tells Jarrett that he will own Forrester Creations.
Donna catches Bill by the elevator and tells him that the good guys won. Bill warns that he's not giving up on Forrester or her and tells her that they'll be talking, but she tells him not to hold his breath. "You know where to find me," he states as he gets on the elevator. Jarrett is waiting outside the building when Bill exits and asks his boss if now owns Forrester. Not yet, Bill replies, guessing that Jarrett is glad to hear that. Jarrett points out that Forrester has always been family-owned, but Bill doesn't think that will be the case for long. "I may have lost the battle, but I will win the war," he proclaims, stating that Forrester Creations will be his.

Rick asks for Brooke's support.
Rick stops by Brooke's house to tell her that he's learning a lot about himself in therapy. Brooke is glad to hear that. Rick confides that he's still in love with Steffy and wants her back. Brooke scoffs, but Rick insists that he's working hard on getting past his anger toward Ridge. Brooke asks what he'll do if Steffy doesn't take him back. Rick believes she will. Brooke asks how he intends to deal with Ridge. Rick states that he can't change Ridge, but he can show Ridge that he's trying hard to change. He asks his mom for her support, but Brooke is skeptical. Rick assures her that he doesn't want to come between her and Ridge. He reminds her that she and Eric are the only ones he can turn to for support these days, and with Eric busy at work, he really needs his mother to be there for him. Brooke hugs him and tells him that she'll always be there for him.

Steffy meets with Rick.
Soon after, Steffy sits at a table at Il Giardino, asking herself why she's here. She gets up to leave, but she sees Rick arrive. Joining her, Rick tells her that he has missed her. Steffy says she missed him, too, but she almost didn't come when she got his message asking to meet her here. Rick says he's been trying to stay away from her, but he doesn't want to do that anymore and wants a second chance to prove himself. He asks if she wants that, too. She thinks he knows the answer. She admits she hoped her dad would come around in time and give them another chance, but she doesn't see that happening. Rick tells her that his mother understands. Steffy thinks that's because Brooke follows her heart. Rick confesses that he never understood his mother's ability to do that until now. He doesn't want to live with regrets about what might have been, so he suggests to Steffy that they go talk to her dad. Steffy hopes her father is ready for this. Rick thinks they can do it if they prove that he's changed to Ridge, so they have to be completely and totally up front.

Back at Brooke's, Ridge comes into the living room. Brooke greets him with a kiss and suggests that they head out to the desert for a second honeymoon. Ridge takes advantage of the "second honeymoon" topic to tell Brooke about how Pam messed up the paperwork with their marriage license. Brooke is shocked that they're not married and asks how Pam could mess up like that. Ridge admits that he often wonders why Eric keeps Pam on. Because she's Stephanie's sister, Brooke points out, guessing that Pam told Stephanie. Ridge admits that his mother knows. Brooke assumes that Ridge just found this out, but he admits that he's known for a while and was waiting for the right chance to tell her. Brooke is upset, but Ridge points out that they can use this an excuse to do the whole wedding over. He assures that they're in this for the long haul. Brooke likes the way that sounds and kisses him. Ridge tells her that it feels so good to hold her in his arms, especially knowing that he doesn't have to worry anymore about Rick and Steffy. Brooke sighs, so Ridge apologizes for bringing the issues with Rick and Steffy up. Brooke thinks that Rick understands that what he did was wrong, but Ridge suggests that she's the only one who thinks that. He tells Brooke he loves her and starts to go on about what kind of heights they'd reach if they didn't have this stuff with Rick in their lives, but Brooke hushes him and kisses him again.

Ridge angrily demands that Brooke stand by him.
As Brooke and Ridge are kissing, Rick and Steffy arrive. Rick apologizes for interrupting, but Ridge doesn't want to hear it and asks what's going on here. Rick explains that he just wants to talk and to state his case for him and Steffy to get back together. "No!" Ridge exclaims. Steffy asks her dad to let Rick finish, but Ridge thinks they're already finished, since he won't allow this reconciliation to happen. Steffy points out that she and Rick have done as Ridge asked and stayed apart, and they're both miserable. But now Rick has changed. Ridge doesn't believe it. Rick says that he doesn't expect Ridge or Steffy to just take him at his word, but he insists that he has changed, and he just wants a chance to prove that he's not the man Ridge recorded that day. Ridge proclaims that he won't let this happen and states that the discussion is over. Rick asks Brooke if she has anything to say. Ridge is sure Brooke has something to say and asks her to tell Rick that this is not acceptable. Brooke tries to understand both sides, but Ridge refuses to let Rick anywhere near Steffy and threatens to get a restraining order if necessary. Both Rick and Steffy are stunned. Brooke tells Ridge that a restraining order won't be necessary. Ridge urges Brooke to tell Rick that he can't do this; he needs to hear Brooke say she forbids it. "Tell them!" he angrily demands.
