Whip gives Sandy a gift and some advice.
Sandy is in her trailer putting on make-up when she hears a knock at the door. When she calls out to see who it is, a voice answers, "Package for Octomom!" She peeks out the curtain and sees that it's Whip. Sandy hopes his reason for coming by won't take long, since Bridget is on the way to pick her up. Whip reminds her that she used to be able to take a joke, and she counters that he used to live with his mom and dress like a hustler. Whip presents her with a gift: a pregnancy gift box he bought as a way to congratulate her on getting pregnant. Sandy thanks him. Whip says that he wanted to drop it off yesterday, but he saw Nick's car when he came by. "Have you told him we're cousins?" he asks. When Sandy says she hasn't, Whip warns that Nick's the kind of guy who has a way of finding things out.

Nick confides in Brooke about Sandy.
Nick arrives at Jackie M and finds Brooke in his office with Bridget. Brooke reminds him that they have to choose a candidate for a design scholarship co-sponsored by Forrester and Jackie M. Nick suggests that she work with Stephanie, but she won't let him off the hook. Nick looks to Bridget, who reminds him she has yoga class. Brooke sees that Bridget is reading an article online about bonding with a surrogate. Bridget reveals that she asked Sandy to join her for yoga class, but Nick is wary of too much bonding with Sandy. Standing firm that she and Sandy can be friends, Bridget closes her laptop and heads for class. Pam brings in a cart full of scholarship applications. Brooke and Nick are stunned by the number of applications and realize this might take a while. Soon after, Whip stops in to tell Nick and Brooke that he needs the name of the scholarship winner by the end of the day and leaves them to get to work. As they dig into the pile, Nick tells Brooke that he's keeping a big secret from Bridget about Sandy. Once Nick explains that Sandy changed her name and created a profile around the woman she wants to be, Brooke worries that Sandy might be unstable. Nick admits he's not sure what Sandy is. Once he saw where she lived and how different her lifestyle was compared to to her profile, he asked her about it, but she wasn't forthcoming with answers. Brooke suggests he contact a lawyer, but Nick doesn't think that's necessary. Even though Sandy deceived him and Bridget, he thinks she really wants to carry their child. He thinks she's a good person who had something bad happen to her. And those kinds of people can be dangerous, Brooke warns.

Sandy makes an admission to Bridget.
Bridget and Sandy stop at Insomnia after yoga class. Sandy admits that today was her first yoga class ever, but Bridget confides that she already figured that out. Sandy says that the woman in her profile isn't who she is every day, but it's more like who she is on a good day. Bridget isn't too concerned and just wants to be friends, if that's what Sandy wants. Sandy confides that she used to have good friends, but then her life changed. Now she'd like nothing more than to be Bridget's friend, but she's afraid she'll disappoint Bridget. Bridget tells her not to worry about that, but Sandy points out how different they are. Bridget doesn't think the differences matter other than the fact that Sandy can carry the baby she can't. She refuses to let Sandy use her to feel sorry for herself. Sandy remarks that people usually befriend someone who makes them feel superior, but Bridget says that's not what she looks for in a friend. "You don't need to make me like you," Bridget insists, pointing out that Sandy is giving her a gift by loving her baby into existence.

Bridget tells Sandy about her trust in Nick.
Back at Jackie M, Brooke and Nick wonder if Sandy is sincere. Nick tells Brooke about Sandy's problems with men. Before Brooke can comment, Bridget and Sandy walk in. Bridget introduces her mom to Sandy and explains that she just stopped by to pick up an all-natural yoga mat for Sandy. Nick asks Sandy about a comment he overheard as she came in about salsa dancing, but Sandy shies away from him. Finding the yoga mat, Bridget gives it to Sandy and they leave. Out in the hall, Sandy tells Bridget that she had fun this afternoon. Since Nick will be working late reviewing scholarship applications, Bridget invites Sandy to join her for dinner. Sandy compliments Bridget on getting past Nick's gruff exterior and bringing out his tender side. Bridget admits that she and Nick have overcome so much because she trusts him. Sandy accepts Bridget's dinner invitation and they go to find someplace to eat. Inside Nick's office, Brooke notes how scared Sandy was of him and encourages him to get Sandy to trust him, for the baby's sake. Nick agrees to be all smiles and sunshine toward Sandy Sommers so he can learn more about Agnes Jones.

Serge and Pam's biscotti break gets interrupted.
In Stephanie's office, Serge gives Pam some lemon biscotti he baked for her. She's touched by the gesture from her friend. When Taylor pops in, Pam tells her that Stephanie's not there, but Taylor tells her she's looking for Whip. While Pam goes to check, Serge offers Taylor some biscotti. Pam returns and learns that Serge left, saying something about finding Whip. On cue, Whip arrives, having gotten Pam's page. He's surprised to see Taylor there. Whip tells Pam that her car is blocking Serge's, so she goes to move it.

Taylor tells Whip she doesn't want to date him again.
Whip asks Taylor what brought her by and realizes that she came to see him. He assumes from her visit that she meant it when she said she wanted to see him again, but she tells him she changed her mind about going out with him. Whip wonders what she heard about him that changed her mind and tries to defend himself. Taylor tells him that she didn't hear anything, and in fact, she thinks he's attractive and fun. Despite that, she doesn't want to pursue him. Whip tells her that he doesn't take rejection well and tries to convince her to go out to dinner with with him, but she insists that whatever they were starting has to end. "Why?" Whip asks. Taylor points out that he works for her ex-husband Nick while competing with her other ex, Ridge, and their children, but Whip doesn't think that's a deal-breaker. More importantly, Taylor adds, she promised herself never to get involved with "one of Brooke's men." Whip states that he's not one of "Brooke's men," but Taylor reminds him that he was married to Brooke. Briefly, he qualifies. "All Brooke's marriages are brief," Taylor retorts. Whip claims that Brooke doesn't even like him, but Taylor doesn't buy it. Listening to Taylor's arguments, Whip realizes that she's scared. Taylor tells him that the online dating was Steffy's idea, and it wasn't supposed to turn into something serious where she wants things that are too soon to want again. She tells Whip she's sorry and leaves.
