Sandy and Bridget wait in the doctor's office.
At Dr. Caspary's office, Bridget, Nick and Sandy anxiously wait to find out if Sandy is pregnant. The doctor comes in and informs them that Sandy is pregnant! The Marones hug excitedly over the news, but Sandy isn't as enthused. When Bridget sits down again, Sandy smiles at her and reaches out to her. Nick wants to celebrate. Dr. Caspary is fine with that as long as Sandy stays away from champagne. Of course, they all agree. After the doctor leaves, Bridget gives Sandy a big hug, bursting with glee over Sandy's getting pregnant on the first try. "You're our angel, our miracle!" Bridget raves. Nick approaches and reaches out to Sandy, but she pulls away. Bridget hugs Nick again, gushing about how happy she is. After Sandy leaves, Nick asks Bridget if she noticed how Sandy acts around him, citing her pulling away just now as an example. Bridget asks him not to make too much of it, since she wants to focus right now on the wonderful news they just got. Nick agrees to focus on the baby, but he still wants to talk to Sandy, since the three of them are in this pregnancy together.

Nick follows Sandy home to get answers.
Sandy goes back to her trailer, where she holds her hand on her belly while she paces around the room, thinking. When she hears a knock at the door, she peeks out through the curtain and sees that it's Nick. After fixing her hair, she lets him in. Nick gives her some flowers he brought to celebrate their good news and asks if he can come in. Sandy backs away from the door to let him enter and asks if everything's OK. "You tell me," he states, wondering why he gets a vibe from her that she'd like to see him out of the way. Sandy reminds him that she barely knows him, but he points out that they'll be spending a lot of time together, so he has to know that they can get along. Sandy says that they're cool, but Nick asks her if that's really true given how she pulled away when he reached out to her earlier. Looking away from him, Sandy says that he just surprised her. Nick states that he just wants to make this better for all of them, so if there is anything bothering her, he thinks now is the time for her to get it out.

Katie offers Steffy advice.
At Forrester, Katie chides Steffy for not running something for the Glamour campaign by legal. She reminds Steffy that all eyes are on them since this is their first campaign since the merger. Steffy apologizes for messing up and promises not to let it happen again. Katie senses that Steffy is on edge and asks if she's OK. As Steffy asks Katie if she ever did the wrong thing without intending to, Rick comes in to get Katie's signature on a contract. He sees the wedding photo of Katie and Bill behind Katie's desk and asks about it. When Katie says it was a gift from Steffy, Rick remarks that it was thoughtful of Steffy. After Rick leaves, Katie asks Steffy if she's having guy troubles. Steffy confides that it's hard for her because everyone thinks she's perfect when she's not. Katie blames herself for not seeing this coming, since she's been pushing Steffy too hard. She thinks the problem is that Steffy is working so hard to please her, Ridge and Bill, but she can't work 24/7. She asks Steffy if she's dating anyone. When Steffy says she isn't, Katie predicts that it's only a matter of time before Steffy finds her own Bill Spencer. Katie then offers to listen if Steffy ever needs to talk. Steffy thanks her, but she doesn't think it will help. Katie urges her to at least try, so Steffy confesses that she always looked at the world in terms of black and white. She was so judgemental, because she was sure she'd never slip up. Speaking from experience, Katie assures Steffy that things will work out for her because the people who love her will understand.

Steffy makes a confession to Rick.
Steffy thanks Katie for the talk. Katie says she understands, since she knows how Steffy feels about Bill. "You do?" Steffy nervously asks. Katie notes that many people see Bill as a ruthless businessman, but he wants to see his employees happy. That's why he's taken an interest in Steffy, but a lot of pressure comes with that. Rick returns with some courtside Laker tickets that someone left for Katie. Katie takes the tickets from Rick and hands them to Steffy, telling her to have fun. After Katie leaves, Steffy offers the tickets to Rick and tells him to find a date, but he tells her he has no one to take since he's shied away from women since they broke up. He admits that their relationship ended badly because of how poorly he treated her. Steffy tells him not to beat himself up about that and even points out that her dad has eased up on him. Pleased that he has a chance at redemption, Rick tells Steffy that he misses her and asks if she'll go to the game with him. Steffy says she can't go with him, even as a friend, because she doesn't feel like she should enjoy herself right now. Why not? Rick asks. She tells him that she did something worse than anything he ever did. Rick jokes that it must have been something bad, like stealing someone's parking spot or littering, but she assures him that she really messed up. Recalling how judgmental she was of the things he did, she finds it ironic that she screwed up and doesn't know how to fix it.

In the hall, Katie calls Spencer Publishing to talk to Bill, but Bill's assistant Hillary tells her that Bill is still in his meeting with Brooke. Hanging up the phone, Katie spots a copy of EYE ON FASHION with a wedding photo of her and Bill on the cover. She picks up the magazine and smiles.

Bill flashes back to his time at Big Bear with Steffy.
In Bill's office, Brooke demands answers about what happened with Steffy at the cabin and threatens to talk to Steffy if she doesn't get them. Bill agrees to tell her what she wants to know, but he wants to stress first that he'd never hurt Katie. Brooke asks why she should believe him when he betrayed her sister. Bill insists that he didn't betray Katie, but Brooke thinks something happened at Big Bear that he's not telling her, and she wants to know what it is. "Nothing happened!" Bill asserts, but Brooke doesn't believe him. Bill explains that, as he told her earlier, he went to Big Bear to talk to Steffy about the kiss. As he was about to leave, Steffy wished him a long and happy marriage and said she'd see him after his honeymoon. As he headed for the door, Steffy offered to show him the latest Glamour photos on her phone, so he sat on the couch with her to view the photos. Liking what he saw, he told Steffy she should be proud of herself, and she leaned toward him and kissed him again! He quickly pulled away and Steffy apologized, but there was nothing else to say and he left. His necklace must have fallen off when he pulled away from Steffy. Brooke finds it hard to believe that the whole thing was Steffy's initiative, but Bill assures her that it's the truth.

Brooke continues her quest for answers.
Brooke asks Bill why he didn't tell Katie if the kisses ware as meaningless as he claims. He reminds her that the next time he saw Katie was at their wedding, and he didn't think it would be appropriate to break news like that to her at their wedding or on their honeymoon. He asserts that he was surprised when Steffy kissed him again, but he doesn't think she meant for it to happen. But it happened twice, Brooke reminds him. Bill states that he's married now, and Steffy respects that. Like she respected his engagement? Brooke asks, wondering if Steffy will give her the same story. She will, Bill assures, but he'd prefer if Brooke didn't talk to Steffy. Why not? Brooke asks. Bill tells her that he doesn't want to change anything. They've finally found a sense of harmony at Forrester, and even Ridge is more or less on board. But all the work they put in to make that happen will be undone if Brooke presses the issue. Brooke tells him she doesn't like keeping secrets, but he bets she's kept a few in her time. Steffy made a mistake, but nothing significant came of it, and he doesn't see any reason to keep dragging it out. "Let it go," he urges.

Bill leaves the decision in Brooke's hands.
Brooke thinks Katie should be told. Bill thinks he'd agree if this were a black and white world, but there is a lot of grey in the world, and he thinks telling Katie would cause more harm than good. Brooke still thinks Katie needs to be told, but Bill predicts that telling his wife will upset the delicate balance they have forged at Forrester. He doesn't want to lose all their hard work over an impulsive young girl's mistake. It was two mistakes, Brooke reminds him, and there will be even more opportunities for mistakes with Steffy and him working so closely. Bill insists that he's committed to Katie, who trusts him. He doesn't see any reason to upset her by telling her about what happened at the cabin with Ridge's daughter. "Everything is working out for us," he tells Brooke. "Do you want to destroy it?" He stresses that he's leaving this in her hands and asks what she's going to do.
