Nick asks Sandy to go to the police station.
At Jackie M, Nick promises a nervous Sandy that he'll go with her to the police station. Sandy thanks him, admitting that she's never known anyone like him. She thinks the baby she's carrying is lucky to have a father like him. Nick says he's not doing this just for the baby and asks Sandy again to go to the police station with him. She says she will.

Sandy confides in Nick.
Sandy takes Nick to her trailer to get the police report. She opens up her dresser drawer and takes out a lockbox, but she can't bring herself to unlock the box. Nick promises that finding the report will get her justice, so she unlocks the box. Inside, she finds pictures of her childhood and teenage years. She shows the pictures to Nick, but he tells her to find the police report. Sandy recalls how she was tough and street-smart as a kid, and working in a bar as an adult prepared her to deal with guys. She thinks she could have handled herself if her rapist had attacked her or used physical force. But the creep acted like a coward and drugged her and she couldn't defend herself. She wanted the guy dead or in prison for life, so she kept checking in with the cops each week to see if there was news. When there was no news, she went to the precinct, but the captain - she thought of him as "Captain Jerk Face" - told her they had nothing. Not knowing if her rapist was still out there, she retreated and refused to leave the house. She just couldn't bring herself to do it. Nick assures her that they'll get her assailant.

Lt. Baker gets interrupted by Nick.
Later, Nick arrives at the police station with Sandy. Nick tells Detective Troy Scott (who apparently doesn't remember Nick from the Shane McGrath investigation) that he's there to see Lt. Baker. Detective Scott pokes his head into Lt. Baker's office to tell him that Nick is there. Baker instructs Scott to ask Nick to take a seat. Nick takes Sandy and they sit down to wait for the lieutenant. After a while, Nick senses that Sandy is uneasy. She tells him that it's been a while since she was in a police station last. Nick assures that it won't be long. A bit later, the lieutenant still hasn't come out. Nick tells Sandy that the detective is probably busy, but the long wait reminds her of the first time she was here, when she waited for hours. More time passes and there's still no sign of Lt. Baker, so Sandy goes to get some water. Standing by the water cooler listening to all the voices and seeing all the people in the squad room, she flashes back to the night of her assault. Overwhelmed with emotion, she has a panic attack and crouches to the floor Nick spots her and comes over to help her up. Fed up with waiting, Nick barges into Lt. Baker's office. Detective Scott tries to stop him, but Lt. Baker tells the younger detective to leave Nick alone. Nick tells Baker that he has a friend outside waiting for answers. Lt. Baker says he'll have to wait, but Sandy comes in and tells him she's waited for her answers for years and wants them now!

Ridge, Thorne and Eric work on the new line.
In Thorne and Eric's office, Eric and Ridge plug away at creating the awful Dare collection, When Thomas asks who would wear these, Eric and Ridge remind him that the goal is for no one to wear them, since that will sink this company and Bill with it. The important thing, the designers remind, is to keep this line under wraps until they unveil it to the public. They have to keep the line from everyone, and especially from Bill and Katie.

Brooke and Donna try to talk Katie out of a preview.
Katie is still in her office with her sisters, demanding to preview the Dare line before it's released. When Brooke and Donna ask why she wants to see it, Katie reminds them that she's CEO and asks if there's a problem. When Brooke and Donna try to duck the question, Katie repeats her earlier question and asks if Ridge and Eric are up to something. Brooke points out that the whole atmosphere at this company has changed since Bill took over, and the pressure puts Eric and Ridge under a huge strain to produce for Bill. This isn't a family business anymore thanks to Bill, Brooke argues. Katie reminds Brooke that Bill kept them in business, but Brooke and Donna think their husbands would have kept the company alive without Bill's so-called help. Katie agrees to disagree and demands to see the collection. Brooke and Donna protest, claiming that Bill might compromise the line if pressed by the staff of EYE ON FASHION for scoop on the line. The protests make Katie even more suspicious, so she orders Brooke and Donna to have Ridge and Eric get a preview ready for when Bill returns later today.

Thomas and Steffy wonder if Brooke and Donna will blab.
In the basement office, Thomas and Steffy fret that Brooke or Donna might spill the beans, since they are both very close to Katie. Eric and Ridge assure that their wives are on board and understand the need to keep this from their sister. They know it's tough, but they promise not to leave Katie out in the cold when the company is in Forrester hands again. The key is keeping the line a secret. Brooke and Donna come in and tell the others about their meeting with Katie, including Katie's insistence on seeing the line. Everyone wonders what they are going to do. Worrying that refusing will make Katie more suspicious, Eric decides to a preview for Bill and Katie only. They can't even let models see these designs, so Brooke, Donna and Steffy will have to model the gowns. This will be the sales job of their careers, Eric proclaims. After Ridge and Eric leave to see Katie, the others wonder if they can pull this off and sell the line to Bill and Katie. They have to think positively, Thorne insists. They won't have to if Eric and Ridge can change Katie's mind, Brooke adds.

Bill and Katie want to see a preview.
Bill returns from New York (in the blink of an eye, unless hours passed between scenes) and greets his wife, who tells him about her demands to preview the line and her sisters' reluctance. She thinks they need the preview to stay in the loop. Bill agrees. Ridge and Eric come in and ask why they need a preview, especially since they don't have time to be fitting models and getting hair and makeup done. They think their concept presentation should be enough to show what the Dare line is all about. Katie stands firm and insists on a preview. Bill steps in and says that the CEO and the owner of the company each want to see the line, so there will be no more discussion. "Set up a fashion preview... now," he orders.
