Jackie deflects Owen's questions.
At Jackie M, Owen helps Jackie interview some new models. Jackie observes how smooth Owen is when dealing with the auditions, since the ladies all seemed to like him. Owen tells Jackie that her Realtor, Gretchen, called with some more potential places for Jackie to live. Jackie states that she's choosy about where she lives, which is why she wouldn't be caught dead living in a loft like the one they saw the other day. Owen asks if it's true that she held her first Jackie M press conference in a bathtub. "It was a proper bathtub," Jackie qualifies. Owen asks what she didn't like about the loft. Jackie explains that she never lived in a place she actually liked, because it's always been about impressions. Owen asks if the press conference in the bathtub was also about impressions. Jackie suggests that he forget about that bathtub, since she has to go. Owen suggests she at least give Gretchen a general idea of what kind of neighborhood she's looking for. He kids that Gretchen might think they broke up if Jackie doesn't provide her with some feedback. "Why would she think you're my only boy toy?" Jackie teases as she leaves.

Owen admires Jackie's "mod" new digs.
Owen returns a call asking about the circumstances of his leaving Forrester and joining Jackie M. He politely declines to comment and ends the call. A secretary, Arielle, brings in some papers from the bank that need Jackie's signature. Owen says that Jackie was headed home and offers to take the papers to her. When Gretchen gives him Jackie's address, Owen asks if this is where the boss lady lives. He's confused when Arielle confirms that address for him. Owen surprises Jackie at the loft, where she's settling in and unpacking. Owen looks around and guesses that she liked the place after all. Jackie admits that she did, but he was far too interested in where she wanted to live. Owen shows her that he brought along a bottle of champagne as a housewarming gift once he realizes where she was living. He admires how quickly she pulled the place together. Jackie confides that paying cash got things done a bit quicker and admits that she didn't want Owen to know how much his opinion influenced her. But now that he knows, she suggests he pop open that bottle of champagne. Owen pours two glasses and proposes a toast to her "mod" new digs. He then sees that she has a Foosball table in the living room. Jackie explains that the table is for her son, and for her grandson when he's old enough. Nick thinks that makes her a pretty hip grandmother. Jackie asks if she should take offense to his pointing out that she's a grandmother. Owen laughs that she's the youngest grandmother he's ever seen. Jackie calls him "very, very bad," so Owen butters him up some more. Jackie purrs that they should address this by taking off his jacket and his shirt -- so he can help her with her Foosball game so she can beat her son.

Nick tells Taylor about his encounter with Stephanie.
Stephanie continues to walk the beach by the marina. She sits down by the rocks and dishearteningly looks around. After aimlessly walking around for a while, she gets a look of realization on her face and walks away. Meanwhile, Nick drops by the Bel Air mansion to see Taylor, who thanks him for the texts, emails and flowers he sent. She wants him to know that his messages meant a lot to her and she still values his friendship. Nick reminds her that she did the same for him, but Taylor thinks she's better at offering friendship than at accepting it. Nick tells her that friendship is what brought him by, since he thinks her pal Stephanie needs a friend after being fired from Forrester. Taylor thinks Stephanie has other interests that will help her rebound, but Nick tells her how he found a depressed Stephanie hanging out by the rocks on the beach near the marina. Taylor asks if he thinks Stephanie is a danger to herself. Nick isn't sure, but he confides that he and Stephanie had a very personal conversation about how she and Eric came to that beach when they first decided to start their business and their family in L.A.

Taylor asks Nick what she can do to help Stephanie.
Taylor is surprised Stephanie shared such special memories with Nick, who admits that he was surprised, too. He recalls that he once wanted to see Stephanie destitute, but he found that he felt differently once he actually saw her that way. Taylor asks what she can do to help. Nick says she should just be there for her friend. Taylor informs him that Eric said the same thing, but it's been hard for her to be strong for someone else since Phoebe died. Nick suggests that company might help and asks where Steffy and Thomas are. Taylor tells him that Steffy moved in with Rick while Thomas went away for a while. She feels like Phoebe was the center that brought them all together, but everything fell apart once that center was gone. Nick guesses that must have been hard on her and suggests that she cope with her loneliness by reaching out to Stephanie. "Maybe you two can do some good for each other," he proposes.
Nick returns to Jackie M, where Arielle brings him a stack of magazines that Sally saved over the years about Stephanie. She recalls how Sally always referred to "Mrs. F" as "The Queen" and was intrigued by anything Stephanie did. Nick starts out with an old issue of EYE ON FASHION with Stephanie on the cover and starts to read.

Stephanie shows up at Taylor's.
Back at Taylor's, Stephanie arrives. Taylor is relieved to see her friend and informs Stephanie that she knows about Eric firing her. She asks why Stephanie didn't answer the phone at the guest house. Stephanie says that she doesn't feel welcome there anymore, just as she doesn't feel welcome at the company she helped found. Once she learns that Eric was worried about her, Stephanie doesn't want to have this conversation, since she won't be Taylor's patient or anyone else's. Stephanie reveals that she checked into a motel by the beach since she no longer feels welcome on the mansion grounds, including the guest house. Seeing how bitter Stephanie is, Taylor thinks they are mirror images of each other, but they're both alone, since everyone is gone. She feels worthless. Stephanie tells her not to say that, but Taylor thinks it's true. She thinks Stephanie is the only person who ever gave a damn about her and gave her advice, and she just wishes that she had listened when Stephanie warned her not to get involved with Rick. Taylor suggests that they live together, but Stephanie doesn't think she could take care of anyone right now. Taylor doesn't want someone to take care of her. She just wants another person in the house to keep her from losing her mind. Stephanie agrees and the two women hug.
