Eric promises to to help Stephanie with Pam.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie urges Eric to help her find Pam so they can get her into a hospital before somebody's hurt or dies. Eric promises to help her, stating that they'll deal with Pam together. Still, he's worried that her plan is risky. Stephanie hopes Donna can do her part, so Eric tells her to call Donna to see if she's heard anything. Stephanie calls Donna, who says that she hasn't heard from Pam yet. Stephanie reminds Donna what to do when Pam calls, but Donna worries that Pam might not go for it. Stephanie thinks Pam will. She fears that whatever is wrong with her sister has nothing to do with Pam's medications, which means that Pam desperately needs her help. Donna doesn't know if she can do this, but Owen reminds her that this might be the only way to get Pam out of their lives for good.

Donna and Owen wonder if Pam took the bait.
Soon after, Pam calls. Watching from her vantage point, Pam laughs at "Goldilocks" Donna's rotten luck, gloating that Honey Bear Eric is probably celebrating with Stephanie as they speak. Donna admits that she's all torn up over giving up Eric, but she doesn't think Stephanie is celebrating. Pam disagrees, so Donna assumes that she hasn't heard the news and tells her that her mother Ann came to visit L.A. and took ill. Pam doesn't believe her, so Donna suggests that she call Stephanie to confirm. After Donna hangs up, Owen asks if she thinks Pam took the bait. Donna isn't sure, because she doesn't think Pam trusts her. Which is why Pam will call Stephanie, Owen predicts, and when she does that and takes the bait... Then everything will be in motion, Donna remarks.

Pam gets bad news from her sister.
Sure enough, Pam calls her sister. Stephanie tells Pam that she loves and misses her. Pam tells Stephanie that she heard some terrible news about their mother. Stephanie tells Pam that their mom came out because she's worried about Pam, but the trip was too much for Ann's heart. Stephanie tells Pam that Ann has been asking for her, so Pam bolts out the door and heads for the mansion. Watching from Owen's beach house, Donna and Owen see a woman who looks like Pam race out of the vacant house next door. They realize that's where Pam has been watching from and assume from the way Pam rushed off that she took the bait. Owen calls Stephanie to tell her that Pam is en route. After Owen hangs up, Donna wonders if this was a good idea. Owen tells her to have faith, but Donna fears that Pam might do something rash when she finds out that she's been lied to. She thinks Pam is dangerous, but Owen is confident that Pam would never hurt her sister. "That's what I thought about Eric," Donna recalls, "and look what she did to him."

Stephanie confronts Pam.
Pam arrives at the Forrester mansion and spots an ambulance outside. "Mother, you can't leave me. Not you, too," she gasps. Inside, Eric waits with Stephanie and commends her on calling for the ambulance to make things look convincing. He thinks Pam should be there any minute now based on Owen's call. Stephanie feels guilty about lying to Pam, so Eric assures her that she's doing the right thing. Stephanie hopes so. When Pam knocks at the door, Stephanie sends Eric upstairs; Eric doesn't want to leave her alone with Pam but Stephanie is sure her sister would never hurt her. Eric goes up as Stephanie opens the door and greets her sister. The sisters embrace and tell each other, "I missed you so much." Pam wants to go upstairs to see Ann, but Stephanie asks her to wait so they can talk first. Pam assumes that Stephanie wants to talk about Big Bear and says that she only meant to hurt Donna, not Eric. She only wanted to get Stephanie back in Eric's home where she belongs, and she did that, so now she wants to see her mom. Stephanie confesses that Ann isn't upstairs. "You lied to me?" Pam asks. Stephanie says that she did, because she knows everything Pam did and why she did it.

Taylor insists that she never meant to hurt Rick.
Taylor pays Brooke a visit and finds her rival in the bedroom. Brooke asks how she got in there. Taylor says that Beth let her in and informs Brooke that she ended things with Rick. Brooke is hardly relieved, since she has been telling Taylor to stay away from Rick from the beginning. Now, Rick is devastated, and Brooke can't bear to think about how heartbroken her oldest son must be. Taylor insists that she never meant to hurt Rick, but Brooke finds that hard to believe given how Taylor threw Rick away like dog meat once she thought she had a chance with Ridge. Taylor says that she wasn't using Rick, but Brooke thinks Taylor pursued Rick to get revenge on her. Taylor says that she and Rick had a real relationship, but then she realized that she and Rick had no future together. Brooke asks if she realized that before or after she threw herself at Ridge. Taylor blurts out that Ridge didn't seem to want to stop her when she kissed him. Brooke is shocked about the kiss, but Taylor says it "just happened." Brooke however thinks Taylor knew exactly what she was doing by throwing herself at Ridge. Taylor thinks Brooke is the queen of throwing herself at men. She predicts based on the argument at Jack's party that Brooke will be doing that again at some point soon by running back to Nick again. Brooke says that she and Ridge already worked on that and Ridge admitted he was wrong, so Taylor is being delusional if she thinks she has a chance with Ridge. Taylor, however, is confident that Ridge and Brooke's relationship is fractured and will apart in due time.

Brooke assures Taylor that she and Ridge are solid.
Brooke tells Taylor that she's wrong and asks her to respect Ridge's choices, but Taylor notes that Brooke never respected her marriage to Ridge. Brooke argues that was long ago, but Taylor says that she's just playing by Brooke's rules that say that all's fair in love and war, right. Brooke thinks Taylor will be disappointed if she thinks that, but Taylor thinks Brooke is putting up a brave front and pretending to be unfazed by learning that Ridge kissed Taylor. Brooke tells Taylor to go on thinking that if she wants, but she's wasting her time. "There's nothing in this world that could come between Ridge and me," boasts Brooke.

Ridge faces Rick on the Sky Lounge.
On the Forrester rooftop Sky Lounge, Ridge tells Rick that there is no game here, but Rick thinks otherwise and blasts Ridge for wrecking his life. Rick wonders if it's an ego trip for Ridge to know that Taylor still has feelings for him and puts forth that Ridge is just going to throw Taylor out with the garbage like he always does. "How do you live with yourself?" Rick asks. Ridge admits that he knew Taylor planned to talk to Rick, probably to call off the wedding. Rick is incensed that Ridge knew before him. Ridge tries to apologize, but that only gets Rick angrier at the way Ridge has to have every woman in his life in love with him, like it's an addiction. Ridge tells Rick that he's committed to Brooke and informs Rick that he told Taylor that, but Rick can only rant in response about how he could have made Taylor happy were it not for Ridge. "That's never gonna happen now because of you, and that is something I will never forgive you for," Rick laments. Ridge points out that he and Brooke tried to warn Rick about getting involved with Taylor, but Rick thinks everything was fine until Ridge made his move. Ridge says he never made any moves and he made it clear to Taylor that he wouldn't. "Then why were you kissing Taylor?" Rick asks, fuming about the carnage Ridge leaves in his wake after being with a woman. Ridge warns that Rick is pushing it, but Rick keeps going about how Ridge led Taylor to think she had a chance with him. Ridge argues that he and Taylor share kids and a history, but Rick only sees that Ridge took Taylor away from him.

Rick grabs Ridge in a chokehold.
Ridge apologizes again, but Rick doesn't want to hear it and tells him to shut up! "I have really big issues with you, and we're going to put an end to those issues, here, now," Rick challenges. He accuses Ridge on preying on the insecurities of women and messing with their heads, including with Brooke. "Rick, you got dumped. It happens. Don't drag me into it," Ridge retorts, but Rick says that Ridge dragged himself into it. Ridge counters that Taylor called off the wedding, not him, so he won't let Rick blame him for that, and he thinks Rick's childish behavior here proves that. Ridge turns to walk away. Angry at Ridge walking away, Rick hauls off and punches him! Ridge falls to the ground, so Rick tells him to get up! Ridge tells Rick not to do this, but Rick doesn't want to hear it and punches Ridge again. Ridge then tries to catch his breath, but Rick comes up behind him and gets him into a headlock. Ridge grunts as Rick holds him, gasping for air. With Rick behind him, Ridge backs up to the edge of the rooftop railing, pressing Rick against the rail. Struggling to get free, Ridge pushes back and shoves Rick off of him, sending Rick flying over the railing. Rick falls to the ground on the ledge below as Ridge calls out his name.
