Eric decides to check on Stephanie.
At the Forrester mansion, Felicia tells Eric how scared she was to find her mom so depressed. Eric asks what she wants him to do. She scolds that he would know if he wasn't so busy with his new life with a floozy like Donna. Eric tells her that he's sick of her using epithets like floozy and tramp to refer to Donna, but she insists that his new wife is hardly the faithful type. Eric fumes that she thinks of Donna that way just based on how Donna dresses, since he knows Donna is aware that he would never tolerate her cheating on him. Felicia turns the subject back to Stephanie, so Eric agrees to go check on his ex-wife. Felicia gives him a key to the beach house so he can let himself in if necessary and thanks him. Eric gives her a hug and assures her that he'll always care about her mother, so he tells her to lose that long face and get on her way. After Felicia leaves, Donna comes in after saying goodbye to Marcus and asks her honey bear if they can spend some time alone, but Eric tells her that he has to check on Stephanie, since Felicia told him about Stephanie's depression. Donna asks if he can check on Stephanie later, but Eric reminds her that he has two families and leaves.

Owen pays Donna a compliment.
By the pool at the Forrester mansion, Owen is parading around in a towel after showering in the pool house. Donna comes out and startles him, leading him to drop his towel and expose himself. Donna cries out as she gets an eyeful of the young man. Owen tells Donna that he's sorry, as he seems to have misplaced his clothes while showering, and he quickly pulls the towel back on and covers up. He thanks Donna for inviting him to stay for their party, but Donna points out that he obviously expected to be at the party since he brought Eric a gift of his favorite gin. Owen tells her that he's an old boy scout, so he knows how to "be prepared." He then tells Donna how beautiful her home is. Donna agrees that it's pretty cool, admitting that she sometimes has to pinch herself. Owen thinks Eric is the one who really scored in that relationship, but Donna thinks she and Eric both scored. Speaking of Eric, Owen wants to thank him before leaving, but Donna explains that he won't be able to, since Eric is out checking on his ex-wife. Owen is shocked that Eric would leave his lovely wife behind to check on his ex-wife and opes Eric realizes what a beautiful and elegant wife he has.

Donna thanks Owen.
Donna tells Owen that she and Eric were both lucky, and she especially feels blessed now that Marcus is back in her life. She can't thank Owen enough for reuniting them. Owen admits that Marcus was about to give up the search for his birth mother when they first met and is grateful that he found Donna's wedding announcement on the Internet and paid for Marcus's plane ticket to L.A. He thinks helping Marcus is his proudest success story, and he is especially pleased to see how Donna has opened her heart to Marcus. Donna offers to get her checkbook and pay Owen his fee, since he's done so much for her, but Owen tells her not to run off to do that now and suggests that he come by Forrester Creations during the week to get his money. Donna tells him that she'll see him there and leaves.

Felicia introduces herself to Owen.
Of course, Felicia witnesses that exchange and approaches Owen after Donna leaves to introduce herself. He's intrigued when he finds out that Felicia is a Forrester and admits that he noticed her at the party, since she wasn't wearing a swimsuit. Felicia confesses that she spotted him at Forrester and asks if she can speak to him at the office tomorrow. Owen suggests that they talk over drinks this evening, but she says that Forrester in the morning will be fine and walks off.

Brooke makes Bridget a promise.
In the living room, Brooke and Bridget discuss last minute wedding plans that Katie needs handled. When Brooke sees her daughter crying, Bridget admits she's so happy to be marrying Nick again tomorrow. Brooke tells her daughter that it's obvious seeing her with Nick that the two of them were meant to be together. Brooke then adds that she has something else to say, something that she doesn't want to bring up again after today. She admits that she made some mistakes in the past with her impulsive behavior, so she wants Bridget to know that she's not going to repeat her mistake of injecting herself into Bridget's marriage. Bridget thanks her for saying that, but she feels like she doesn't need her mother's promises this time. Brooke thinks Bridget doesn't need her reassurances because of her [Brooke's] committment to Ridge, but Bridget says that's not quite it, so Brooke tells her to explain what's on her mind.

Bridget explains herself to her mom.
Bridget says that she doesn't want to rehash history, but she sees now that she and Nick had to end their first marriage so that Nick could get Brooke out of his system. Now that he has, she thinks Nick was worth the wait. Brooke is sure Nick feels the same way and predicts a wonderful future for them. Bridget is looking forward to getting married surrounded by all the people who love her and Nick, like her parents and grandparents - and of course, Katie. Brooke suggests that Bridget gave Katie back her life, and now Katie is returning the favor. "Nobody's happier for you than my sister," Brooke declares.
At the Marone mansion, a shirtless Nick lights up a cigar, pours himself some scotch and sits back to enjoy his last night of bachelorhood. Katie comes in, so Nick invites her to join him, but she doesn't think cigars are good for heart transplant patients. Nick agrees and puts the cigar out, admitting that he gave them up for the most part last year but still indulges now and then. Katie says he can do what he wants in his house, but he thinks he will finish it on the terrace later. Katie tells him he can enjoy it when she's gone. Nick asks where she's going, so she reminds him that he's getting married tomorrow. Since he, Bridget and Jack will be one big happy family after that, Katie thinks it's time she abandoned ship and found a place of her own. Nick asks why she wants to leave, since he thought she discussed that with Bridget. Katie is surprised Bridget told him about that, so Nick tells her that he and Bridget don't have secrets from each other. "She knows that we shared something special and she's not threatened by it," Nick states, telling Katie to stay as long until she's good as new, but Katie wonders if that will ever happen.

Nick and Katie both gaze at the door.
Katie holds Jack and tells him how lucky he is to be getting a new mommy tomorrow. Even though she can't stick around forever, she promises to be there for Jack as much as she can. Nick tells her to stop being so fatalistic, but Katie tells him that she's learned to value every moment, which is why she's had more happiness in the last few weeks than most people have in a lifetime. She tells Jack that she owes that to him and to his daddy. After putting Jack down, Katie goes to pack. Nick tells her not to forget the nerf basketball set he bought her, even though she hardly uses it. Katie tells him that she certainly does it and challenges him to a quick game of hoops for money. Katie doesn't think it's polite to fleece the groom the night before his wedding, but Nick reminds her that he has a big bank account and tells her to bring it on. They engage in a playful game and wind up in a close situation where they almost kiss. Nick pulls back just in time and suggests that they should call the game a tie. Katie is fine with that and says she should be going. She assures him that the wedding is going to be amazing and says she'll see him tomorrow. As he opens the door for her, Nick takes the nerf basketball hoop off and gives it to Katie, who thanks him and leaves. Nick closes the door and gazes it at it, while Katie does the same from the other side of the door.
