Marcus and Steffy enjoy some time alone.
Marcus and Steffy enjoy some time alone in one of the Bikini Beach cabanas. She praises him for figuring out that Owen caused her grandfather's heart attack, but Marcus feels guilty that Owen came to L.A. because of him. He still worries about what that "evil dude" could have done to Donna after gaining her trust and hopes that's in the past now that Owen is in jail. Steffy tells him not to worry and promises to tell Eric when he wakes up about what Marcus did for him. Marcus says he's no hero, but Steffy says that he is to people like his mom - and to her. To get him to relax, she tells him to close his eyes and breathe. Marcus hopes this isn't one of those "Cali Yoga" things, but Steffy takes his hand and tells him to just go with it. Marcus closes his eyes, but then opens them again. When Steffy catches him, she playfully teases that he cheated! As the two lie down on a chaise in the cabana, Steffy confesses that she feels a bit guilty being here when all this drama is going on in their lives. She tells Marcus that she feels relaxed when she's with him and calls him her "angel," since he's different than everyone else she ever met. She admits that she has trouble trusting people, but it's different with him, so she feels lucky to have him. Marcus tells her that he's the lucky one, because he came to L.A. and found her.

Stephanie tells Owen to admit that he conspired with Donna.
At the police station, Lt. Baker questions Owen again, but Owen has nothing new to say. Lt. Baker says that he's done, but there's someone else there who has some questions for Mr. Knight. He opens the door and lets Stephanie in. After Lt. Baker leaves, Stephanie orders Owen to tell her the whole story behind his plot to kill Eric. Owen asks what she means by the "whole story," so she tells him to admit that Donna was in the plan. Owen denies that Donna was involved, but Stephanie doesn't buy it and accuses Owen of conspiring with his lover. Owen argues that he's Donna's assistant, not her lover. Which conveniently put him in a position to advise Donna right after Eric was put in the hospital, Stephanie guesses, especially after Donna took over Forrester and fired Stephanie's children. Owen tells her that she's wrong, but Stephanie charges that Donna is a persuasive and sexy girl who roped Owen into her scheme. She tells Owen that a deal could be arranged for him if he cooperates and confesses about Donna's part in the plan, but Owen stands firm in his claim that Donna is innocent. He drugged Eric in the hopes of connecting with Donna once Eric was gone. But Eric didn't die, so Donna stayed devoted to her precious husband, and that left Owen empty-handed. That's when he decided to pay Donna back by setting her up to take the fall by planting the pills in her drawer.

Owen tells Stephanie that Donna is innocent.
Stephanie doesn't buy Owen's story and accuses him of trying to protect Donna because he's in love with her, but she promises that it's not going to work. Owen suggests that Stephanie doesn't want to believe that he worked alone because she wants to think that Donna, the woman who stole Eric away for her, is guilty. Stephanie insists that she just wants justice, and she still thinks that Donna is just as guilty as Owen is. "You're gonna believe what you want to believe," Owen tells her. Lt. Baker comes in and tells Stephanie that her time is up. As the detective prepares to take Owen back to his cell, Stephanie tells Owen that she knows he and Donna are in this together, and she promises to prove that and expose them.

But their daughters need them now, so he hopes they can take advantage of the second chance they've been given to make the Logan family stronger than ever. He wants Beth to take as much time as she needs, but he hopes she sees that he has finally put all his issues with Eric behind him. Beth is glad to hear him say that. Stephen tells her that Eric has no power over him now, and he won't be a victim to Stephanie anymore. Pam comes in and asks Donna what she's doing, stating her belief that Donna should be behind bars with her partner in crime, Owen. She finds it especially ironic that the evidence against Donna was found in her lingerie drawer. Brooke tells Pam to back off, as this isn't the time, but Pam disagrees and asks Donna what she's looking for in Eric's desk. Donna asks Pam if there was any mail that Eric got which might provide a clue, or any appointments in his calendar, but Pam refuses to help when the person who drugged Eric is standing right in front of her. She's glad Owen is in jail and can't wait until Donna finally joins him there. Donna insists that she's innocent, but Pam finds that hard to believe when Donna is busy searching for clues that will clear her jailed co-conspirator. Donna thinks she knows who tried to kill Eric.
After Pam leaves, Donna finishes her search and comes up empty. Brooke asks Donna if she wants to believe Owen, but Donna asks her big sister to trust her that Owen was not the one who planted those pills in her drawer. Brooke reminds him that this is the same man who accepted a $200,000 offer from Felicia to break up Donna's marriage, but Donna is convinced that Owen was sincere. Owen went to jail to keep her from being put behind bars, but now the real criminal is still out there at large. She just wonders who that can be. She starts to think about who might possibly hate Eric enough to want to see him dead and then suddenly comes to a conclusion. "I know who did this! I know who tried to kill Eric!" she proclaims.
