Eric refuses to help Stephanie.
Stephanie enters her home and finds florists and decorators being directed by a robe-clad Donna in preparation for the wedding. Stephanie demands to know what's going on. When Donna says that she had to find some help, since the florist apparently lost Stephanie's order, Stephanie counters that she never put in an order and orders these people to leave. Donna says that they'll leave when they're done, but Stephanie insists that there won't be a wedding. Eric comes in and compliments Donna on the decor. Stephanie asks him where Thorne is. Eric tells her that Thorne is in the guest house, but he insists that Stephanie leave their son alone on his big day. Fuming, Stephanie drags Eric into the den to talk, as Donna tells "Mom" that she has everything under control. In the den, Stephanie pleads with Eric to help her open Thorne's eyes, but Eric only wants their son to be happy and suggests that Stephanie do the same. Stephanie, however, refuses to stand by and let Thorne make a huge mistake, so she asks Eric to please talk to Thorne, but Eric tells her that she has the wrong guy.

Thorne tells Felicia how Donna gave him his life back.
Felicia stops by the guest house and finds Thorne on the phone with Ridge, assuring Ridge that he's OK with Ridge and Brooke missing the wedding. He reminds Ridge that he never supported Ridge's bid to keep the kids away from Brooke anyway, so he's glad that Ridge dropped the suit. As Thorne hangs up, Felicia mockingly offers some applause to commend him on the fuchsia color of their mother's face. Thorne admits that their mother has shown a number of shades of red over this wedding, including when Donna asked Stephanie to stand up for her. Felicia jokes that their mom protesting their weddings is a family tradition and suggests that one of Donna's old boyfriends might show up to carry her off. Thorne asks her not to even joke about that and wonders if that's her way of asking if he's sure about this. "Are you?" she asks. Thorne tells her that Donna made him feel alive again and gave him his life back, so he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. That's all Felicia needs to hear for her to wish her brother the best.

Katie is surprised by Donna's request.
Katie arrives at the mansion and is impressed by all the bells and whistles Donna has thrown into her very own Forrester wedding. When Katie admits that she still can't get over Donna being with Thorne, Donna tells her that Stephanie feels the same way and is ripping Eric to shreds in the den about this wedding as they speak. "Better him than you," Katie responds. Donna tells Katie that she's not bothered by Stephanie anymore, but she is bothered by the fact that she doesn't have a maid of honor with Brooke up at Big Bear with Ridge and the kids. She explains that she asked Stephanie to stand up for her, but Stephanie turned her down flat, so she's hoping that Katie will stand up for her instead. Katie seems surprised; while she can understand why Donna asked Brooke first, she can't believe that Donna asked Stephanie before her. Donna explains that she was trying to unite the families. Katie admits that she's proud of Donna, who has spent years going after the wrong guys for the wrong reasons. But this time, she can see that Donna is really in love with Thorne, to the point where she's willing to subject herself to a lifetime of Stephanie's wrath, so she's glad to stand up for Donna. Donna thanks her sister for the support and Katie to check on the caterers while she tends to one last detail before the wedding.

Stephanie asks Katie for help.
With Donna gone, Katie is alone in the living room when Stephanie comes out of the den and spots her. Remarking that she always saw Katie as the smartest of the Logan sisters, Stephanie pulls her into the den and asks why she's here. "I'm supporting my sister," Katie replies. Stephanie can't believe that Katie wants to be part of this farce of a wedding. When Katie asks why she's allowing a wedding she opposes to happen in her own home, Stephanie retorts that it's only happening because Donna snowed Eric into allowing it, which wasn't very hard. She, on the other hand, sees that Donna doesn't love Thorne and is only marrying him to get revenge on her. She fears that Donna is taking advantage of how lonely and vulnerable Thorne is, which is why she's appealing to Katie's sense of what's right in the hope that Katie will help her stop this wedding. Katie refuses to help. She sees Donna as alleviating Thorne's loneliness, not taking advantage of it, and she thinks Donna and Thorne seem very happy. Stephanie doesn't think that happiness will last. Katie disagrees, stating that she's thrilled to stand up for Donna. She excuses herself to help Donna get ready.

Dr. Bridget talks with her dad before the wedding.
Back in the house, Bridget and Felicia come downstairs after checking on Aly, who's still sick in bed from the flu bug she caught. "Mean Dr. Bridget" explains that it was all she and Felicia could do to keep Aly in bed, because the little girl is so disappointed about missing the wedding, but Felicia laughs as she suggests that Aly will get to skip all the boring stuff and just get to the good parts. Eric asks Felicia if that comment means she shares her mother's reservations about this wedding. Felicia says that she's not supporting her mom on this, even if she does think the wedding came together rather quickly. Jackie arrives with Donna's dress and overhears the tail end of the conversation, so she asks if anyone has any misgivings about this wedding. Felicia asks who they are to judge, since they've probably all done something impulsive or crazy in the name of love. Bridget thinks it's romantic that Thorne has found someone to love him again. Eric just wishes he knew where Stephanie is, since he fears his wife is up to no good.

Jackie talks to Eric about the wedding.
While Bridget and Felicia go to direct the caterers, Eric chats with Jackie, telling her that he's glad she's there to support Donna. Jackie quips that she might be the only one on Donna's side of the aisle, but Eric admits that he likes Donna and what she did for Thorne, plus he likes the idea of having another Forrester at Forrester Creations for a while. Jackie asks if he's planning to lure the new Mrs. Forrester to Originals. Eric counters that Forrester Creations can't match Originals on the runway, so he asks Jackie to convince Nick to sell them back the company. Bridget comes over and says that the caterers need information from Donna. Since Jackie has to bring Donna her dress anyway, she volunteers to tel Donna about the caterers, too, and heads for the guest house. Eric and Bridget wonder if the fact that neither Donna nor Stephanie is around means this wedding will be a bumpy ride.

Felicia spots some lipstick on her brother.
In the guest house, Thorne is remembering the day he proposed to Donna when Donna sneaks in to see him and kisses him. Thorne asks if he has to close his eyes, since it's bad luck to see her dress, but then he sees that she's still in her lingerie. "I thought that's how you liked me best," Donna laughs. Getting turned on, Thorne wants to lock the door and steal a few minutes with her before the wedding, but Donna thinks he should save some of that enthusiasm for what she has planned for the honeymoon. Jackie comes in and apologizes when she sees the two of them kissing. Thorne and Donna tell her that they're done. When Jackie tells them that the caterer has some questions, Donna wonders where Katie is, since she asked Katie to check on the caterers. Thorne volunteers to go up to the house and handle that. When he gets there, he checks in on Aly, whose fever is going down. Bridget advises him to still keep Aly in bed, so Thorne says he'll do that. Felicia and Bridget laugh when Felicia finds some lipstick on Thorne's face and jokes that the bride gave her groom a little something before the wedding. Thorne then sees his mother and tells her that he wants her at the wedding, but Stephanie says she loves him too much to just stand by and watch while he makes the biggest mistake of his life.

Donna has some explaining to do.
Donna asks Jackie how her dress looks. Jackie says it's gorgeous, but she hopes Donna won't be wearing it. Donna insists that she is getting married today and asks Jackie not to bring any of this negative stuff up again, but Jackie thinks that Donna's revenge on Stephanie has no place at the altar, or even at the Forrester mansion given how this isn't a church. Donna insists that she's committed to Thorne, and on top of that, she's not willing to let Stephanie win. Jackie thinks no one will win if they go through with this wedding, so she asks Donna to admit the truth to her. Donna confides that she loves the way Thorne loves her and the things he'll bring to her life, but she also likes the idea of making Stephanie suffer daily for the rest of Stephanie's pitiful life. Neither woman notices Katie come in the door and overhear Donna's last remark. Stunned, Katie makes her presence known, frustrated that Stephanie was right after all. Jackie excuses herself, leaving Katie alone with Donna, demanding that Donna be honest with her. "Do you love Thorne?" she asks, waiting for an answer from Donna.
