Brooke urges Ridge to find Andy's accomplice.
While sitting on the sofa at Ridge's house, Brooke again flashes back to the rape. Ridge returns from taking Hope and R.J. to their first day of school and turns off the alarm. Seeing how upset Brooke is, Ridge tells her that she and the kids are staying here with him until he finds the lowlife who fed Andy all the information about her life. He informs her that he hired a private investigator to help search for clues, so he's sure they'll soon find Andy's accomplice. Ridge then calls Ed, the private investigator; while waiting on hold for the P.I., Ridge flashes back to his rooftop encounter with Andy, who bragged that Ridge would be blown away to learn the identity of his accomplice. When Ed gets on the phone, he promises Ridge that he'll have background checks done on all the people who had access to Brooke's house by tomorrow, but Ridge wants answers today, no matter what the cost. As Ridge hangs up, Brooke is disheartened that the P.I. had no leads. Ridge assures her that it'll be OK, since he's sure Ed will come through. Brooke however doesn't know how it will ever be OK for her until they find the person that helped Andy. "Please, just find him," she begs. Stroking Brooke's hair, Ridge vows that he will.

Katie asks Stephanie to end the hostility between their families.
A nervous Katie drops by the Forrester mansion, having been summoned by Stephanie. Stephanie states that she just wanted to thank Katie for doing the right thing by Thorne at the wedding yesterday. She's glad to see that at least one of the Logan girls isn't an opportunist. Sensing that Stephanie as usual intends to bash her sisters, Katie makes it clear that she won't stand here and listen to that kind of bashing, even if what Donna did was wrong. When Stephanie brags about confronting a lingerie-clad Donna after the wedding, Katie warns that she won't tolerate that kind of talk, just as Stephanie wouldn't allow someone to badmouth Kristen, Felicia or especially Ridge. Katie suggests that Donna might not have been driven to use Thorne if the Forrester and Logan families has learned to coexist years ago, and she asks Stephanie to think about that the next time she sees Brooke. Stephanie scoffs at the idea, leading Katie to suspect that Stephanie's asking her here to thank her was just a ruse to pump her for information about Brooke. Stephanie denies the allegation, although she admits that she is curious about what Brooke did to win Ridge over. Katie says that Ridge is helping Brooke through something, but Stephanie doesn't want to see Ridge sucked into Brooke's drama, especially when he's dating a wonderful girl like Ashley. Katie reminds Stephanie of all the passion and history Ridge and Brooke share, along with the son they created. Stephanie fears that Ridge missing his brother's wedding means that Brooke is dragging him in again, and she won't let that happen.

Ridge asks Brooke to focus on anything she remembers about Andy.
Back at Ridge's house, Ridge assures Brooke that he refuses to leave her side, even though he knows what his mother would think about that. Brooke insists that he not tell his mother or anyone else about the rape, including Ashley. Ridge promises not to tell anyone, since keeping her safe is his primary concern. When Ridge's cell phone rings, he hopes it's Ed calling back, so he's disappointed when he sees that it's his mother. He's about to let it go to voice mail, just like his mother's other calls this morning, but Brooke suggests that he answer, since his mother is probably worried. Ridge picks up, and his mother immediately sets out to berate him for missing Thorne's wedding. Ridge assures her that he spoke with Thorne, who was OK with his missing the wedding to spend family time with Brooke and the kids. Stephanie insists that Brooke is using those kids again, proclaiming that this is the reason she wanted him to seek custody of the kids. Ridge tells her that he disagrees, which is why he dropped his custody petition. He tells his mother point blank that he and Brooke will make any decisions about those kids, so he's telling her for the last time to butt out! Stephanie asks what he intends to tell Ashley. Tired of his mother's "advice," Ridge ends the call. Brooke asks why Stephanie can't just leave her alone. Ridge tells her not to worry about his mom and asks her to focus on anything she can remember about Andy, so they can find his accomplice, but all Brooke can remember is how that animal forced himself on her.

Stephanie fumes at Katie's suggestion.
Stephanie fumes that Ridge brushed her off, forgetting that Katie is still there. Katie suggests that Ridge just doesn't share Stephanie's tunnel vision about Brooke, so maybe it's not a good idea for Stephanie to ridicule Brooke to Ridge. Stephanie doesn't like that idea, so Katie adds that Stephanie should accept that Ridge and Brooke might find their way back to each other. Stephanie refuses to accept that, because she thinks Ridge belongs with Ashley, but Katie proposes that Stephanie's believing that is just wishful thinking. Not liking that idea, Stephanie rushes out, not hearing Katie's pleas to stay out of it.

Felicia hears Katie out.
With Stephanie gone, Katie is alone in the living room, taking a phone call, when Felicia comes in. Felicia is surprised to see Katie there and even more surprised that Stephanie invited Katie personally and then left Katie here all alone. Katie explains that she thinks Stephanie's motives in inviting her to thank her for saving Thorne was just an excuse to get her here as part of Stephanie's obsession with "the evil Brooke." She asks Felicia what she thinks of Stephanie's obsession, since it doesn't seem normal to Katie. Felicia suggests that she doesn't apply the term "normal" to her mother. Katie thinks the way Stephanie stormed off to find Brooke shows how obsessed Stephanie is and asks Felicia if she could help her end the senseless war between their families. Felicia agrees that it might be a good idea, since her mom is clearly upset that Ridge seems to be pulled toward Brooke. Katie thinks it's only going to get worse, since Stephanie is out of control.

Pete the bartender tries to find Andy's cell phone for Ridge.
Back at Ridge's, he realizes he has a clue about Andy that he didn't think of earlier: he recalls that Andy had left his cell phone at Cafe Russe the night before he and Andy faced off on the roof, and Andy never had time to retrieve it. Thinking that the phone may still be at Cafe Russe, Ridge hopes to get a look at it and see who Andy spoke to, since that could lead them to the accomplice. He doesn't want to leave Brooke alone, but she assures him she'll be fine, since she needs him to follow up on this. Ridge rushes out, so Brooke locks the door turns on the alarm behind him. When Ridge arrives at Cafe Russe, he finds Pete the bartender finishing up with a delivery man. He asks Pete if he still has Andy Johnson's cell phone from the other night. Pete thinks he does and goes to the office to check. While Pete is gone, Ridge's P.I., Ed, arrives. Ridge explains to Ed about the cell phone as they wait.

Ed, L.A.'s top P.I., helps Ridge get into Andy's phone.
When Pete comes back with the cell phone, he asks Ridge while he needs it. After looks from both Ridge and Ed, Pete thinks he's better off not knowing. Ridge turns on the phone but the battery is dead. Ed thinks he has a spare battery for that phone in his car, so he goes to fetch it. Ridge meanwhile calls Brooke and tells her that they're in luck, because he has the cell phone and is just waiting for a spare battery to turn it on. He has a good feeling about this and tells Brooke that. Brooke thanks him, because she doesn't know what she would have done without him. Ridge ends the call to Brooke just as Ed returns with the phone battery. Ridge plugs the battery in and turns the phone on, anxious to see what she might find.
