Bridget jumps into doctor mode after Taylor's water breaks.

After Taylor's water breaks, things get frantic at the Forrester mansion. Thomas fetches Taylor's bag while Jackie calls Dr. Caron to let her know that Taylor is going into labor. Jumping into doctor mode, Bridget asks Nick how long it's been since the last contraction. Nick doesn't get to answer, since Taylor cries out that they need to go to the hospital now! Jackie tells them that the doctor is on the way to the hospital, so Nick tells Bridget to ride with him and Taylor in case they need to deliver this baby on the highway.

Jackie tries to reassure Phoebe and Thomas.

Nick, Taylor, Jackie, Bridget, Thomas and Phoebe arrive at the hospital, where Dr. Caron meets them. Nick worries that the baby is early, but Dr. Caron tells him that she doesn't see any major reason for concern; even though the baby is a few weeks early, she doesn't expect any complications with the delivery. The doctor ushers Nick and Taylor to the delivery room while an anxious Jackie, Thomas and Phoebe stand vigil in the waiting room. Jackie tries to be positive that her son's first baby is on the way, commenting on how long Nick has waited to have a child on his own. She tries to pass her attitude along to Taylor's kids, but Phoebe is still nervous.

Eric and Donna get caught.

Eric comes home and finds only Donna there. He tells her that he saw Jackie's car bolting out of the driveway and asks what's going on. When Donna tells him that Taylor's water broke, Eric is surprised, since he knows she wasn't due yet. He hopes Taylor will be OK. Donna hopes so, too. Eric calls Thomas to check on Taylor and finds out that Taylor is in the delivery room, and that the doctors are optimistic. As Eric hangs up the phone, Donna admires the concern he's showing for Taylor, since she knows he has no love lost for Nick. Eric explains that Taylor was once his daughter in law, so he'll always care about what happens to her. Donna then tells Eric that Katie confronted her about their relationship and gave an earful about it. When Donna explains that Katie found out from Thorne, Eric wishes he had gotten the chance to ask Thorne to keep quiet after Thorne caught him with Donna in the office. Donna asks why he wants to keep this quiet. He reminds her that Stephanie still knows, and he thinks he should be the one to tell his wife. Donna points out that Katie could tell Brooke. Eric tells Donna that he's not ashamed of his feelings for her, but he knows that others will have strong opinions about their relationship, and not all of those opinions will be positive. That's why he was hoping to have her to himself a little longer. He starts to kiss her, not realizing that Felicia is still in the house and has been watching them. "Oh my God!" Felicia cries out.

Felicia tears into her father for ditching her mother for Donna.

Felicia asks Eric what he's doing with Donna and tells him that this has to stop. Donna tries to explain, but Felicia cuts her off and says that Donna doesn't get a say in this. Felicia tears into her father. She insists that her mother doesn't deserve this, no matter what Stephanie did. "Maybe she does!" Donna chimes in, but Felicia ignores it and continues to confront her father over his taking his son's leftovers. Eric tells her to stop talking like this, but Felicia urges him not to throw away a lifetime with her mother for the likes of Donna Logan!

Jarrett gets the scoop from Ridge.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge gives Eye on Fashion reporter Jarrett Maxwell an exclusive interview about the Forrester family regaining control of their family business. After Ridge explains how the Forrester Originals label and boutiques will be absorbed into Forrester Creations, a pleased Jarrett wants to get this in the next issue of the magazine, with a photo of the reunited dynamic duo of Brooke and Ridge on the cover! Ridge insists that this is his father's story, not his and Brooke's, but Jarrett thinks that a photo of Ridge and Brooke is the "money shot" that will get people to pick up the magazine and read about Eric - that is, unless Ridge thinks the photo might cause problems with Ashley. Not wanting any rumors like that to get out, Ridge agrees to give Jarrett the photo.

Brooke tells Ridge that Taylor is in labor.

Just then, Brooke barges into the office to talk to Ridge. Jarrett greets her and tries to engage in some small talk, but Ridge asks the reporter to leave. Once Jarrett is gone, Brooke tells Ridge that Taylor has gone into labor. Ridge is concerned for his ex-wife, especially since the baby wasn't due for a few weeks. Brooke agrees, since she knows how much both Nick and Taylor want this baby. Ridge concedes that no matter what he thinks about Nick, he realizes how hurt his half-brother would be if anything happened to the baby. Ridge recalls the problems Taylor had giving birth in the past. But at least the babies were healthy, Brooke points out. Ridge is impressed by how concerned Brooke is about Nick and Taylor's child. Brooke tells him that she remembers how broken up Nick was when he and Bridget lost Nicole, so she just hopes this baby is OK.

Ridge tries to reassure Brooke.

Brooke doesn't want to intrude at the hospital, so she tries to call Bridget, who tells her that she can't talk now because things are so hectic with the baby on the way. As Brooke hangs up the phone, Ridge tries to reassure her that the baby will be fine. Getting back to the amount of concern she's showing, Ridge asks why she's so worried. Brooke reminds him that on top of her concern for Nick, this baby will also be a little brother to Thomas and the twins, so how can she not not love it? The two of them talk about how blessed they have been with their respective children, and Brooke hopes Taylor and Nick can experience that joy, too.

Carl asks Bridget to do a DNA test on the Marone baby.

In the delivery room, Taylor keeps crying out in pain. Dr. Caron tells Taylor that they have a neo-natal unit ready just in case and keeps looking to Bridget and the nurse to monitor the progress of Taylor's labor. When Bridget reports that the heart rate is dropping, the doctor tells Taylor that it's time for her to push now, but she orders an OR just in case they have to do an emergency C-section. Taylor objects, so the doctor tells her to push if they don't want to go that route. Bridget goes out of the room for a moment to arrange for the OR if they need to do the C-section. When Jackie and the kids ask her what's going on, she quickly fills them in and then heads back to the delivery room. On the way, she runs into Carl, who wants to know about doing a DNA test on the baby to determine who the egg donor was. "Not now," Bridget tells him, ordering Carl to stay out of it.

Nick and Taylor are the proud parents of a baby boy.

Back in the delivery room, Nick and Dr. Caron keep coaching Taylor, who still has not delivered the baby. The doctor thinks they'll have to do the C-section, but another contraction hits, so the doctor tells Taylor to give one last push. Taylor does as she asked, despite how hard it is for her, and suddenly everyone hears a baby cry. As Dr. Caron sees the baby, Bridget tells the happy parents that it's a boy! Bridget takes the baby, now wrapped in a blue blanket, and places it in the loving mother's arms as the baby's proud father looks on.
