Bridget congratulates Nick and Taylor.
At the hospital, Taylor and Nick tells Bridget about the wedding, which surprisingly went off without a hitch. Weddings only get interrupted when a Forrester is involved, Nick quips, prompting Bridget to remind Nick of all the times they went to the altar before they said "I do." Nick admits he lost count, but Bridget reminds him it was four. Bridget then seriously tells the newlyweds that she's happy for them and warns Taylor to Nick snores loudly. As Nick and Taylor laugh over that, Bridget goes to get Dr. Kimbrough; while Bridget's gone, Nick and Taylor marvel at the fact that they're married and preparing to have their child. Bridget returns with Dr. Kimbrough, who confirms that the donor is fine and is having her eggs harvested as they speak. The doctor reminds Nick and Taylor that the whole thing is anonymous, so the donor doesn't know anything about who her eggs are going to. There are provisions in the paperwork if Nick and Taylor choose to let their child get to know the donor, but the donor has surrendered any claims to the child. Taylor admits that even though they don't know the donor, they know from the profile that she and the donor share many qualities. Nick asks what happens next. Dr. Kimbrough says she has to examine Taylor to see how her hormone therapy is progressing, so she ushers Taylor out of the room to do that.

Nick prepares to make his "donation."
Bridget is alone with Nick as she tells the daddy-to-be to take the specimen cup and do his thing. Nick asks if the door locks from inside, since he doesn't want to be interrupted by some candy stripper. Candy STRIPER, Bridget corrects him, confirming that the door locks. She admits to Nick that she really is happy for her, even though her mom is clearly upset. Nick tells Bridget that Brooke came to the chapel, but Bridget points out that her mom's visit didn't matter since Nick now has a wedding ring on his finger. This must be how it was meant to be, she tells Nick. She then points out the magazines and DVDs in the room that can "help" him make his "donation" and turns to leave. Nick asks her to wait, but when she pauses, he tells her to forget it and she leaves. A few minutes later, Taylor comes by to give Nick a hand. Nick says he's glad she's here, since Miss May wasn't doing it for him. Taylor looks at the magazine and laughs that the centerfold had almost as "rockin'" a body as her own, but Nick says he wants his hot, sexy bride. They start to kiss and make out as they joke about this unusual honeymoon.

Taylor listens as Nick tells her how lucky he is to have her.
In the lab, Bridget watches as the donor eggs are brought in and put in a Petrie dish marked "Marone." Bridget then goes to check on Nick and is surprised to see Taylor there. Bridget's arrival interrupts the newlyweds' making out; Bridget explains that the eggs is all set, and Dr. Kimbrough is ready to do the rest in the lab once they have the specimen from Nick. Taylor asks if they have to stay in the hospital while Dr. Kimbrough works in the lab; Bridget sees no reason for that, since science takes over from here until it's time to implant the eggs in Taylor. She promises to keep Nick and Taylor informed every step of the way and then takes the specimen cup to the lab. Alone with her handsome husband, Taylor asks if he's ready to go home for the rest of their honeymoon. Nick is amazed at the paths their lives have taken; he recalls how they first became close when she promised to help him find peace and points out that today, she IS his peace, and he wants to thank her for that. "There is not a man in the world that is luckier than I am or more at peace than I am," he tells his beautiful bride.

Ridge and Ashley get some news from Lt. Baker.
In Ridge's office, Lt. Baker explains that Shane McGrath is dead. Ashley asks what happened. Baker says that's what he's here to find out, pointing out that Shane was never one of Ridge's favorite people. He supposes it must be a shock and points out that there's no need for a restraining order now that Shane's body washed up on Venice Beach. Ashley assumes from that comment that Shane drowned, but Baker explains that Shane was shot, and his body was found washed up on the beach in a garment bag. He wants to ask Ridge a few more questions, but Ridge asks if they have to do this now. Baker gets the hint that he's interrupting something personal, so he says he'll be in touch and leaves. Stephanie comes in and says she saw Lt. Baker by the elevator, so she asks what's going on. Ridge "informs" his mother about Shane's death and about the body being washed up on the beach. Stephanie says that's horrible news. She then asks Ashley if she can have a word with Ridge alone, so the lovely chemist leaves. Alone with his mother, Ridge freaks out at the news that Shane's body was found and guesses that it's only a matter of time before this points back to him. Stephanie tells him not to overreact, but Ridge tells her that he got the feeling that Baker was fishing for information when he came to deliver the news. Stephanie says he'll be fine if he sticks to his story, but Ridge points out that he doesn't have one, which is why he thinks he should just go and tell the police everything. Stephanie refuses to let him to do that.

Detective Scott fills Lt. Baker in.
At police headquarters, Detective Scott tells Lt. Baker that the bag Shane was found in was one commonly used in the garment industry to transport garments. He also points out that Shane was bruised around the ribs, probably from a punch, and there were also smaller bruises that look like they came from some rope or chain wrapped around the bag. That sounds like someone wanted the body to stay submerged, the detectives agree. That gives Baker an idea and he calls the Marina Del Ray harbormaster to find out if the Shady Marlin II recently went out. When he finds out that the boat went out two nights ago without calling in, Lt. Baker calls for a search warrant and tells Detective Scott to get the forensics team ready. Soon after, the detectives arrive on the Marlin with the crime scene investigators to search for anything --blood, fingerprints, fiber, hair -- that'll tie McGrath to this boat.

Stephanie is bothered that Ridge is feeling guilty.
Back in Ridge's office, he frets that someone will recognize the bag Shane was in as the type their company uses. Stephanie points out that many fashion houses use those bags, but Ridge reminds her that no other fashion house has ties to Shane. Stephanie tells him not to assume that and asks if Lt. Baker said anything about the gun. Ridge says the cop didn't say, but he's sure they must be looking for. But they'll never find it in the bay, Stephanie states. Ridge is sure that the cops will find some other way to tie this to him, so he sticks by his decision to tell the police. He can't deal with how what he's done consumes his every thought, so he doesn't see any choice but to accept the consequences. Stephanie wants him to at least talk to an attorney first, since no matter what he did, he's not a murderer. Ridge points out that he still covered a man's death up, and he should have known that it would come to light somehow. Stephanie reminds him that it was an accident. Ridge hopes the judge realizes that during the sentencing. Stephanie tells him to stop talking like that, because she refuses to see him in prison. Ridge insists he has no choice, because he committed a crime by covering Shane's death up. He's sorry to have dragged her into this, but he has to tell the police what happened, and he'll just have to deal with whatever happens next.
