A relieved Bridget wants to get some rest.
Rick and Bridget return to the beach house after the pool party. Rick wants to run by the office and then grab something to eat, so he asks Bridget if she wants something. Bridget thanks him but declines the offer, since she only wants to sleep. She's exhausted after all the confusion with the eggs used in Taylor's in-vitro, so she's relieved that she can finally just relax now without worrying about whose eggs were implanted in Taylor.

Nick reassures his wife.
In the master bedroom at the Marone mansion, Nick lies in bed waiting for his wife. Hie eyes nearly pop out of his head when Taylor slinks into the room wearing a sexy negligee. She explains that she he was disappointed that Brooke won't be selling the Bedroom line at Forrester Creations, so she decided to give him a little lingerie show of her own. Nick asks why she started with the show-stopper. "This is not the show stopper, boyfriend," she purrs as she gets into bed and starts to make love to him. Nick asks if this is OK with her being pregnant; Taylor assures him that this is fine, so the proceed with their lovemaking. When they're basking in the afterglow, Nick asks how the baby is. "Rushed with endorphins, just like mama," Taylor replies. Nick likes the way the word "Mama" sounds. Taylor agrees; she tells him that she feels the same emotional connection to this baby as she did with her other children, even though she's carrying someone else's eggs and is having heightened morning sickness. That's because the baby is hers in every way that counts, Nick states. Taylor knows that, but she still can't forget that someone else's genes are in this child. Nick tells her to forget it, quipping that he doesn't thank the chicken whenever he eats an egg.

Taylor tells Nick that she has no concerns.
As the Marones get amorous over Nick's joke, the phone rings. Taylor answers and is surprised that it's Bridget calling to check on Taylor and the baby. When Taylor says that everything's fine, Bridget apologizes for calling so late and hangs up. Having overheard Taylor's part of the conversation, Nick asks her why Bridget would call just to check on her. Taylor isn't sure. She senses there was something more to Bridget's call, but she can't figure out what it is, since everything's fine with the baby. Nick recalls her comments earlier about the baby having someone else's genes and asks if that it's a problem. Taylor replies that she doesn't really have any concerns, although she did have a weird dream where the donor came to claim her child. Nick assures her that will never happen. "Then I have no concerns," a relieved Taylor says. Nick tells her again that it won't matter who donated the eggs; "When our baby's born, you're the one the little squirt will call 'mama'," he assures her.

Ashley gives Rick some advice.
A downcast Rick arrives at the lab. Ashley sees the glum look on his face and playfully tells him to lose it. When Rick apologizes, Ashley guesses that the sad face has to do with Phoebe and Constantine. Rick laments that Phoebe should be here with them now, discussing the promotion for the new fragrance, but he doesn't even know where her head is lately. Ashley suggests that maybe he should leave if he can't focus on their work, but Rick insists on staying. He confides his fear that Constantine has Phoebe's priorities all screwed up to the point where she doesn't know where she belongs. "But I know," he assures Ashley, who suggests he focus on the fact that his relationship with Phoebe's solid these days. They start to look through promotional photos of Phoebe for the fragrance campaign, but Ashley can tell that Rick's head isn't in it. "Get out of here," she tells him. Rick asks what she's doing. "If my daughter was working with somebody that I didn't trust, I'd like to know that somebody like you was looking out for her," she explains. She thinks Phoebe needs him and tells him to go find her. Rick thanks her with a gentle kiss on the hand. At that very moment, Felicia walks by the lab door spots the exchange, curious about what's going on.

Constantine thinks Phoebe needs an edge...
At Constantine's loft/studio, Phoebe is in the recording booth singing his song, "Everybody Loves, Everybody Cries." Constantine is extremely pleased with the vocals, but he thinks she's missing one thing that makes a difference between a backup singer and a full fledged pop star. Phoebe asks what she needs to change, so Constantine explains that they have to work on her look. It's not that she needs a Mohawk, he laughs, but music is now a visual medium thanks to videos and the Internet, so an artist needs a unique image. Phoebe frets that she'd become someone else, but Constantine tells her to think of it as a persona, someone who's still her, but turbo-charged into looking flashier and sexier. "Make me over!" Phoebe eagerly agrees.

...so he gives her a rock and roll makeover!
With that in mind, Constantine brings in Val, a stylist who has worked with some of the top rock stars. As Val works her magic, Constantine continues to explain the concept to Phoebe, telling her that it's like a super-hero putting on his costume. She needs that same edge when she gets on stage in front of a stadium of screaming fans, he asserts. As Constantine's song, "A Girl Like You" plays in the background, Val adds some extensions and streaks to Phoebe's hair, highlights her features with dark red lipstick and eyeliner and dresses her in a flashy outfit with a rhinestone headband. Constantine's pleased with new look as Phoebe looks at herself in the mirror, smiling.

Rick disapproves of Phoebe's new look.
Rick comes into the loft and makes his way to the studio. He's shocked when he peeks through the studio window and sees the "new" Phoebe. Barging into the studio, he asks Constantine, "What the hell have you done to her?" He then turns to Phoebe and asks what's going on. She asks what he thinks of the new look. "It's not you," Rick states, insisting that she can be a success without looking like this. Phoebe says it's just part of her persona. Put off by all this talk, Rick takes her aside and tells her that she doesn't need all this to look sexy. He tells her how he was just looking at her promo photos for the fragrance campaign and she looked so beautiful, with exactly the image they need for their brand, and he insists that going out looking like she does right now would work against that image. Phoebe says she's only dress this way when she's performing, but Rick reminds her that their fragrance bears her name, which means she IS the brand. Phoebe is surprised that he's worried about the perfume, but Rick states that it's more than that. He worries that she's letting Constantine have too much control in trying to change her. Phoebe insists that Constantine is only trying to help, but Rick thinks the rocker's help will only hurt her. He's worried that she's been slacking at work since she started with Constantine, and now she's dressed like it's Halloween." Phoebe insists that she doesn't have to choose between Forrester Originals and her music, but Rick thinks she has to before she loses herself. He tells her to come with her, but she begs him not to make her give this up. Taking that as her answer, Rick storms out. Phoebe tearfully turns to Constantine, who comforts her and suggests, "If he can't be here for you, let him go."

Carl gives Bridget some bad news.
In the fertility lab, Carl frets that the information he gave Bridget might be wrong. He compares the label on the test tube from the cryogenics lab to the fertility lab printer and sees that it's also an exact match. He sadly laments that he told Bridget they had proof that her mother's eggs were not used in Taylor's in vitro, but he really doesn't have proof of anything. He tries to call Bridget's cell. Bridget is in bed when the phone rings. Looking at the display, she sees that it's Carl and lets the call go to voice mail so she can go back to sleep. Frantic that Bridget won't pick up the phone, Carl rushes to her beach house and pounds on the door. Bridget gets out of bed and is stunned to see Carl there. She tells him that he shouldn't be coming to her house like this, no matter how grateful she is to him for his help. Carl blurts out that he was wrong. Bridget asks what he means, so he tells her about the new printer in the cryo-storage lab and shows her the new label samples. "I don't know where the petri dishes came from," he frets, telling a stunned Bridget that Taylor may be carrying her mother's eggs after all.
