Rick makes breakfast for Bridget and gives her advice.
Rick makes breakfast for Bridget at her beach house. He can tell from the look on his sister's face that she didn't sleep much last night. Bridget admits that she couldn't stop thinking about the possibility that their mom's eggs were fertilized with Nick's sperm and implanted in Taylor. Rick reminds Bridget that even if the wrong eggs were fertilized, it wasn't because of any mistake she made. Bridget still can't cope with the idea that she might have implanted Brooke's fertilized eggs into Taylor. Bridget gets a call from Taylor, who asks if they can push back their appointment today to the afternoon so Nick can be there. Bridget agrees, since she wants Nick there. As Bridget hangs up the phone, Rick guesses that she's determined to tell the Marones the truth. They deserve to know if Brooke's DNA is in that baby, Bridget insists, but Rick thinks Brooke deserves to know, too. As Rick beats some eggs for French Toast, Bridget tells him that she's not really hungry. Rick urges his sister to look at the big picture and consider the people beside Nick and Taylor who will be affected by a mix-up at the fertility lab.

Brooke senses something wrong with Bridget.
Before Bridget can answer, Brooke arrives. Brooke notices that Bridget isn't looking well. Bridget says she's fine, but . Rick tells Bridget to tell their mom what's up. Brooke asks her kids if they're fighting. Rick says it's just a difference of opinion. Brooke frets that she doesn't get much time to catch up on her kids' lives, so she suggests she stay for breakfast. She offers to help Rick mix the eggs. Rick cryptically responds, "I think Bridget already has," but Brooke doesn't catch it. Brooke then tells her kids that Nick wants her to have "her baby" back. Bridget and Rick are both stunned until Brooke explains that Nick wants her to relaunch "Brooke's Bedroom" for Forrester Creations. Rick is a bit taken aback at the idea of competing with his mom, while Bridget insists that Brooke can't work for Nick because of how Taylor might react. Brooke answers that Taylor already knows and is OK with her working for Nick, but Bridget is still skeptical. Rick also seems surprised that Taylor is so accepting of seeing her husband working with her rival, so Brooke assures them that Taylor has no reason to be threatened by her. Rick looks to Bridget, who says she has to get to the hospital. Rick asks if she has anything else to say to their mom before she goes. Bridget tells Brooke, "I love you." Brooke responds, "I love you too, honey," as Bridget dashes off.

Phoebe thanks Constantine for his help and support.
Phoebe wakes up in Constantine's loft and realizes that she spent the night there. Constantine states that he didn't have the heart to wake her. Phoebe frets that her mom is probably worried about her, but Constantine tells her that he sent a text message from her phone to Taylor indicating that she stayed at a friend's. Phoebe thanks Constantine for his help and support. Constantine counters that he should be complimenting her, since she's just the girl he's looking for. After Phoebe changes into one of Constantine's "Boldface Records" t-shirts, she finds Constantine in the studio practicing some lyrics. Those are for his new song, he explains, although it's not quite done. Phoebe stops to check a text message on her cell from Taylor; Constantine asks if she got any messages from Rick. Phoebe says she hasn't, but she wonders if Rick might have checked with her mom and learned that she was at a friend's. Constantine suggests she forget that and instead get into the studio to work on those tracks. When she again sings that song with the refrain "Never Ending," Constantine praises her for doing an even better job than some seasoned performers. Phoebe still feels uncomfortable singing without Rick here. Constantine points out that Rick isn't here and suggests that this isn't important to Rick. Phoebe assures him that Rick cares about what's important to her. Constantine hopes so, for her sake and Rick's.

Constantine gives Phoebe some advice in the studio.
Constantine joins Phoebe in the studio to show her how to get close to the microphone. He instructs her to get intimate with the mic, like it's just her and the mic there. Just then, Rick arrives at Constantine's front door. Upon knocking, the door opens, so Rick walks in and looks around, calling out to see who's there. When he spots Constantine up close to Phoebe through the studio's glass windows, he's shocked and bolts into the studio. "What the hell is this?" he asks. Constantine introduces himself, but Rick is more concerned with the fact that Phoebe slept there last night. Constantine tells Rick that Phoebe was exhausted over the deal with her dad. Rick tells Phoebe that they should go, but Phoebe wants to stay, since Constantine was giving her advice. Rick seethes that it looked to him like Constantine was all over Phoebe, so he tells the musician to back off! Phoebe objects, but Rick claims to see what Constantine is up to, even if Phoebe can't. Constantine insists he's just trying to help Phoebe, because he's interested in... Rick fumes that he knows what Constantine is interested in, and it's not Phoebe's voice!

Stephanie pays a visit to the Marone mansion.
At the Marone mansion, Stephanie arrives just as Taylor ends a call to Nick to tell him that she pushed back their appointment with Bridget. Stephanie is glad that she caught Taylor before she went to the office. Taylor explains that she didn't feel like going in. Stephanie guesses it's morning sickness, but Taylor assures Stephanie that she's fine. Stephanie says she had another reason to stop by; Taylor guesses it has to do with getting Rick to remember that he shot Grant Chambers and asserts that Rick might never remember, and even if he does, it might not help Ridge's case. Stephanie is sure it will help because the D.A. is seeking a higher charge because of Ridge's previous "offense," which Ridge didn't commit. Taylor points out that it wasn't Rick's fault that Ridge threw Shane in the bay and then let Nick take the rap for it. Stephanie admits that she was involved with letting Nick get blamed. Taylor rages that Stephanie could betray her that way and spews, "I don't think you will ever understand how much you've hurt me." Stephanie concedes that she should have apologized, but Taylor doesn't know if she can ever forgive Stephanie. Stephanie thinks Taylor should understand as a doctor and a parent, and she suggests that Taylor would do anything to protect her kids. "I wouldn't frame an innocent person for murder," Taylor states. Stephanie recalls how Taylor was ready to sacrifice herself when the twins were born; Taylor points out that she chose for herself, not for someone else.
Seeing she's getting nowhere, Stephanie offers Taylor some advice: she's heard the rumors of Brooke working for Forrester Creations and warns Taylor not to let Brooke near Nick. Taylor insists that she's not worried about Brooke. Stephanie hopes Taylor's faith in Nick isn't misplaced, since she thinks Brooke can take Nick if she's close to him. Not wanting to discuss this anymore, Taylor asks Stephanie to stop.

Taylor thanks Bridget for everything she's done.
Later, at the hospital, Bridget recalls the moment when she realized that Taylor might be carrying Brooke's eggs. After stopping to chat with a nurse, Taylor comes into Bridget's office with her lab work. Bridget tells Taylor that there's something she needs to know. Taylor asks if they can wait for Nick, so Bridget agrees to wait. Taylor confesses that she's glad they have some time alone, anyway, since she wants to thank Bridget for all she's done. She takes a little pride in Bridget's choosing a medical career, since Bridget always told her that she wanted to change people's lives, and she thinks that's just what Bridget has done for her and Nick. She thinks it's ironic that the daughter of her longtime rival Brooke helped her, and she feels like a special bond will always exist between her child and Bridget because of all the help Bridget's given her. Taylor reaches out to embrace a conflicted Bridget, who thinks to herself, "Oh, Taylor, how am I supposed to tell you that you might be carrying my mother's baby?"
