Stephanie tells Brooke her visit is over.

At the Forrester mansion, Brooke stops by to see Hope and R.J. (who are apparently spending a second night in a row there). When Brooke comes down to ask Stephanie for some water for Hope, Stephanie says she'll get it, because Brooke's visit is over. Brooke protests and wants to go back up; Stephanie tells her to go ahead and try, and then they'll see what the judge thinks. Not willing to make a mistake that Stephanie can use against her, Brooke concedes and agrees to leave. As Brooke prepares to go, Stephanie warns her to tell her sister not to come around, either. Brooke is surprised to learn that Donna was there. "If you want to get your children back, you tell her to stay the hell from me and my family," Stephanie cautions.

Thorne is surprised when he wakes up next to Donna.

Thorne wakes up in his bed and is surprised to find Donna lying next to him. When Thorne asks how she got there, Donna pretends to be crushed that Thorne doesn't remember the special night they had together. Thorne tells her that he remembers that they were talking at the Bikini Bar. Donna asks if he remembers what he said to her; when he says he doesn't, Donna feigns anger at the brush-off and accuses him of using her, just like Ridge did! As she turns to leave, Thorne tells Donna to wait, but Donna wants to leave. Thorne tells her that even though he doesn't remember all the details, they must have connected if she wound up in his bed. Donna tells him that he was incredibly sweet and refreshingly honest with her, which was something that they both needed. Right now, Thorne needs a shower to clear his head and hits the showers.

Brooke asks Donna not to antagonize Stephanie.

While Thorne is showering, Donna gets a call from Brooke, who wants to talk about the way Donna has been antagonizing Stephanie. Donna says this is a bad time. Thorne calls out for Donna. Brooke asks whose voice that was. Donna repeats that this isn't a good time and asks Brooke if they can talk about this tomorrow. Brooke asks her sister not to antagonize Stephanie, since it will only make matters worse.

Donna tells Thorne to forget what happened.

Thorne comes out of the shower and calls for Donna. The phone rings and it's Stephanie, checking to make sure everything's OK with Thorne. Thorne assures her that he's fine. Donna eavesdrops on Thorne's part of the conversation and thinks to herself, "Stephanie, don't fret about your baby boy. I'm going to take very good care of him." As Thorne ends the call, Donna comes over with something for his headaches. She asks if that was his mother on the phone. When Thorne says it was and informs Donna that he didn't tell his mother that she was here, Donna pouts that he's ashamed of her, too, and asks if he thinks she's a slut, too. Thorne says he doesn't, but Donna starts to leave, telling Thorne to forget about her and pretend tonight never happened. Thorne stops her and says he's sorry. He asks her not to go.

Rick leaves a message for Phoebe.

Rick tries to call Phoebe, who is outside Boldface Records when her cell phone rings. Seeing it's Rick, she doesn't answer, so Rick leaves a message pleading for her to let him explain about Ashley. Constantine greets Phoebe and introduces her to Lil' Keesha, a new artist for his label that he hopes will give Boldface Records its first top ten hit. As Lil' Keesha goes into the recording booth, Constantine tells Phoebe how her [Phoebe's] music has people buzzing, to the point where one of his investors wants to recreate the contest from Insomnia online as a worldwide battle called "The Boldface Challenge." When Constantine mentions Rick's name, Phoebe gets all quiet. Constantine asks if she's OK, but his engineer says Lil' Keesha is ready before Phoebe can answer.

Lil' Keesha's song sparks memories.

As Lil' Keesha sings her new song HEAVEN KNOWS, it sparks a series of memories in Phoebe's mind of all the times she spent with Rick. She remembers the two of them getting playful by the pool, walking together in Sydney, singing at Insomnia for the first time and lying by the fire. The memories bring a tear to Phoebe's eye. Constantine joins Lil' Keesha in the booth as the song ends. While Constantine and Keesha talk about the next track they are going to record, Phoebe gets another call from Rick. This time, she answers and tells him to stop calling. Rick says he can't and begs her to talk to him, but Phoebe says she can't talk to him now. Rick tries to tell her how much he loves her.

Ridge asks Ashley how she could betray Phoebe.

In Ridge's office, Ashley tries to explain why she didn't say anything about Rick. She tells Ridge that there was no need to when she first arrived, since she had no idea where things would go with Ridge then. Besides, she and Rick had both moved on. She begs Ridge to believe that she wishes she had told him sooner, but he remains silent. When he finally speaks, he asks how he could hurt his daughter this way. Ashley says she knows Phoebe is heartbroken. Ridge asks how she could stay silent when she knew how Phoebe felt about Rick. Ashley explains that she didn't know about Rick and Phoebe when she came to L.A. She admits she wanted to pick up with Rick where they had left off, but once she found out about Phoebe, she respected Rick and Phoebe's relationship. "You just didn't agree with it," Ridge says, guessing Ashley still wanted Rick back. Ashley reminds him that he agreed that Rick was too mature for Phoebe and asks him to believe that she didn't want to see Phoebe hurt. Ridge asks how she wound up with Rick again if she was concerned about Phoebe, since he suspects, as does Phoebe, that there was more going on than just Paris.

A tearful Ashley tells Ridge she's in love with him.

Ashley tells Ridge about her one night with Rick in Mexico when Rick and Phoebe had broken up. Ridge points out that Phoebe was still in love with Rick. Ashley reminds Ridge that he never thought Rick and Phoebe would stay together, and she didn't, either. But she assures Ridge that nothing has happened between her and Rick since they returned from Mexico. Then why keep it a secret? Ridge asks. Ashley tells him that she wanted to tell him, but Rick asked for some time to prepare Phoebe, since he wanted to protect Phoebe. She assures Ridge that this wasn't an affair, but Ridge can't help but wonder if there's a part of her that would jump back into bed with Rick if she had the chance. He can't believe that the two of them worked in this building, along with Rick and Phoebe, but he never suspected what was going on. Ashley tells him that what she had with Rick was special, but she urges Ridge to trust her. Ridge again asks how she could have betrayed Phoebe. Ashley says that she felt it was Rick's place to tell Phoebe, not hers, although it was her place to tell Ridge. Ridge says he's heard enough, so Ashley reminds him of all that's happened since. "I've fallen in love with you," she states. But when Ridge doesn't respond, a tearful Ashley leaves the office.
