Taylor comes home to Nick and baby Jack.
Nick is in the bedroom with baby Jack when Taylor returns from her trip. Nick welcomes his wife home and asks how her dad is. Taylor explains that her dad didn't have a heart attack after all and just needed a little angioplasty, so he's fine. She then goes over to pick Jack up and cuddles with him, promising never to go away for another night ever again. Nick catches Taylor up on the events around Stephanie's shooting, including Stephen's arrest. Taylor is glad to hear that Stephanie is fine, although she laments that she and Stephanie aren't as close as they used to be. When Jack starts crying, Taylor goes to put him down for a nap. While she's gone, Nick recalls how Brooke came and easily calmed Jack down while Taylor was away.
After Taylor returns, she suggests to Nick that they get Jack out more, so he can start meeting some new faces. Getting back to Stephanie, Taylor asks if La Forrester being back at the mansion means that she and Eric reconciled. Nick tells her that Eric moved out once Stephanie moved back in, leaving Stephanie in the care of her wacky sister. Nick wants to mess around with Taylor, but she's distracted, since she can't stop listening for Jack. When she doesn't hear anything, she wants to go check on her son, but Nick suggests they just listen to the baby monitor for any signs that something is wrong with the baby. Taylor explains that she feels badly about not really bonding with Jack when their son first came home. Nick advises that those kinds of guilty feelings are part of being a parent, as she should know from her other kids. Taylor tells him that any doubts she had about being a mother to Jack are now gone.

Stephanie wants to confront Stephen.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie fumes that Stephen had the nerve to come there and plead his innocence, given how the photo from Jake's camcorder shows Stephen shooting her. Pam says it's only a hand, but Stephanie tells her to stop looking for the good in people that's not there. Eric tries to call Donna, who cancels their plans tonight, because she's at Brooke's and can't talk. Eric asks if Stephen's there, but she says she has to go and hangs up. Eric guesses the Logans will be devastated by this news and mentions that they're over at Brooke's, so Stephanie wants to go over there and confront Stephen. Eric protests, but Stephanie insists and tells Pam to pack Jake's computer for her, since she wants to see the "son of a bitch's face" when he knows he's been found out. Eric disagrees, but Stephanie insists on letting all three Logan sisters see their father for the man he is, so Eric says he'll call Lt. Baker and take Stephanie over there. As Eric goes to get the car, Pam notes how much he loves Stephanie. "Did you ever doubt it?" Stephanie asks.

Pam commiserates with Tiny.
Once Eric and Stephanie leave, Pam sits with Tiny, lamenting that they both know what it's like to beg for scraps. Just then, Pam gets a call from her mother, Ann, who arrived home from her cruise to find the newspapers - since Pam failed to stop them - reporting of the shooting. Pam says it was a close call. Ann says that she called the kennel and Tiny wasn't there. "He's with me," Pam says. Ann then notes that Pam left her medication behind. Pam insists this is just a visit. "When I told you you'd make Eric a better wife than Stephanie does," Ann asks, "you didn't actually believe me?" Pam tells her mom to stop, leading Ann to ask Pam if she shot her sister. Pam says she loves Stephanie and would never hurt her, unlike Ann. Ann counters that it's always convenient to hurt someone you love. Pam asks whose fault that is.
Ann tells her younger daughter to come home.
Ann guesses that Pam made a mess of things. Pam sobs that they're not as nice as they used to be and think she's foolish, and she weeps that Eric found someone else. "She's horrible, Mommy!" Pa, cries. Ann tells Pam that it doesn't matter if Eric broke Pam's heart or vice versa and promises to take care of Pam. She orders Pam to pack her things, gather Tiny, get a cab and go the airport, where there will be a ticket waiting. Don't say goodbye or even speak to anyone, Ann adds, especially not the police. Pam says she understands.

Donna defends Stephen...
At Brooke's house, Stephen asks Katie where she got these photos from. Katie tells him that Jake's camera was on in the showroom the day of the shooting. Stephen argues that Jake works for the Forresters. Katie tells him to stop looking for conspiracy theories, but Stephen finds it odd that a camera was left running at just the right time. Donna agrees that the video must have been doctored, but Katie asks Stephen if that's his ring. "No, it just looks like it," Stephen argues, "because I didn't shoot anyone." Katie insists he has to be guilty. When Donna says she and Brooke support Stephen, Stephen looks to Brooke, who is still a bit skeptical.
...but Katie sees no reason to believe in her dad.
Katie reminds her dad of his history walking out of them and asks why she should believe him. Donna argues that their dad wouldn't use a gun that could be tied to Brooke, but Katie asks how they know what a man who abandoned his family would do. Stephen admits he has faults, but Katie refuses to believe him just because of genetics and tells him to find another lawyer, since he's yet again betrayed Storm and all of them.

Eric brings Jake's laptop to show the Logans.
When there is a knock at the door, Brooke assumes it's Storm, so she's surprised to find Stephanie, who says she owes Donna an apology. "We owe you one," Katie replies, showing Stephanie the photos Jake gave her. Stephanie says they have Jake's camera here with clearer pictures, and she and Eric tell Stephen that they won't press charges if he just comes clean. "Are you man enough?" Stephanie asks. Stephen insists that if he meant to kill Stephanie, he wouldn't have missed, and he insists that the video was faked. Stephanie tells the Logan girls to accept what these photos show their father is capable of, but Donna stands by her father. Just then, Lt. Baker arrives, having gotten Eric's message that Stephen broke his bail by contacting Stephanie. Donna insists Stephanie came her uninvited, but Lt. Baker points out that Stephen was at the Forresters' earlier and tells Charlie to cuff Stephen. Eric shows Lt. Baker the footage on Jake's camera while Stephanie tries to tell the girls she's not doing this out of spite. Even Katie has a hard time buying that, despite believing that her father is guilty. Brooke asks Stephanie if she had an altruistic reason to accuse Donna; Stephanie admits she made a mistake and asks if they can put this behind them, but Brooke says she can rely on her own feelings as to how to feel about Stephanie.

Brooke tells her dad she believes him.
Lt. Baker and Charlie finish reviewing the material on Jake's computer and agree that it looks like Stephen's ring, so he tells Eric he'll take the laptop and contact Jake about it. Stephen asks Eric if he shot Stephanie; Eric brushes the notion off and tries to talk with Donna, who is trying to reach Storm. After leaving a message for him, she tells Eric she believes her dad, but Eric can't find it in himself to believe Stephen. As Lt. Baker takes Stephen off, Stephen asks for a moment with Brooke. He sees that Brooke isn't completely convinced of his guilt and asks her to believe in him. Brooke points out the evidence against him, but Stephen remains firm that the evidence could have been staged and pleads with Brooke to believe that. He realizes now how many enemies he has, but the worst thing for him is that Brooke, his own daughter, questions him, so he asks her to please help him. Brooke says she believes him. She hugs Stephen and promises to find out who did this just before Stephen is led off.
