Donna makes a suggestion to Thorne.
In Nick's office, Thorne and Donna make love. When they're done, they laugh at the fact that they left the door unlocked. Donna says everything would be perfect if... Thorne realizes that the "if" refers to his mother. Donna says that she can handle Stephanie, but she worries about the fact that Brooke still doesn't have her kids back. Thorne agrees that it's wrong to keep Brooke from her kids and wants to confront his mother about that now, but Donna suggests a different approach.

Stephanie wants Ridge to consider his options.
At the Forrester mansion, Joe the custody lawyer reads excerpts of Dorothy Bascomb's latest report for Child Services to Ridge and Stephanie. Stephanie think that it helps buy them time given how Dorothy said Brooke was in distress, but Ridge doesn't want to jump to any conclusions yet. Stephanie presses Ridge again to file for full custody. Joe tells Ridge to consider his options and shows himself out. Once Joe is gone, Stephanie urges Ridge to move forward, but Ridge wants to talk to Brooke first. He tries to call her, but it goes to voice mail and he leaves a message. He wonders what's going on, since Brooke usually picks up when he calls. Stephanie suggests that Brooke is tied up with a woman again, but Ridge reminds her that Brooke's personal life has no bearing on the matter of custody unless Brooke is doing some lewd act in front of Hope and R.J. Stephanie suggests that Brooke might just do something like that.

Thorne wanst to talk to Ridge.
Thorne and Donna arrive. When Thorne points out that Ridge hasn't yet congratulated Donna, Ridge wishes the happy couple his best. Thorne is glad Ridge is here, since he wanted to talk to Ridge, so he takes Ridge into the den to chat. That leaves Donna to share small talk with Stephanie in the living room. Stephanie wants no part of it, but Donna pulls out some bridal magazines and asks for Stephanie's help in picking a wedding theme. "How about "when hell freezes over"?" Stephanie suggests. Donna quips that would only work for a winter wedding, but her wedding to Thorne will be sooner that that. "Over my dead body," Stephanie counters, accusing Donna of using Thorne for revenge because of what happened to Brooke. Stephanie says of Brooke's misfortune, "I had nothing to do with it. She's brought all of this on herself."

Ridge insists that he is speaking for himself.
In the den, Thorne asks Ridge about his lack of enthusiasm in the living room when Ridge congratulated him and Donna on their engagement. Ridge assures Thorne that he's happy about the nuptials. Thorne then tells Ridge how heartbroken Donna is about the situation with custody of Brooke's kids. Ridge points out that those are his kids, too, but Thorne counters that Brooke has always been a good mother and suggests that Ridge is being swayed by their mother's negative view of Brooke. Ridge shows Thorne the photo of Brooke with a strange guy (since neither knows who Andy is) in the newspaper, but Thorne sees nothing wrong with Brooke being out with a man in public and accuses Ridge of letting their mother pulls his strings about this. Stephanie and Donna come in, and Stephanie accuses Thorne of being the one acting like a puppet, since Donna is only using him. She's glad that she and Ridge can see the Logan sisters for what they are, even if Thorne doesn't. Thorne tells Stephanie to let Ridge speak for himself, but Ridge insists that he is. Thorne tells Ridge not to let their mother put these ideas in his head. Stephanie is incensed that Thorne would walk into her home and suggest that his brother doesn't deserve those kids, since Ridge could take better care of those kids than that whore Brooke and her sister. Donna objects to that last part. Stephanie warns Donna to stay out of this and urges Thorne to see tat Ridge is only doing what's best for the kids.

Brooke tells Bridget all about the rape.
At Brooke's house, a stunned Bridget listens as Brooke tearfully admits, "I was raped." As Bridget tries to comfort her mother, Brooke tells Bridget how she first met this man, Andy, weeks ago at Cafe Russe, only to come into contact with him again when he posed as a deliveryman and brought her a wind-up bird as a gift. She then explains how Andy saw her again last night at Cafe Russe and followed her home, claiming to be a lawyer who could help her with regaining custody of Hope and R.J. She thought she had locked the doors and set the alarm, but this man somehow got in, came up to her bedroom and grabbed her, ultimately leading to his raping her. Bridget urges her mother to call the police, but Brooke refuses. When Bridget asks why her mom doesn't want the police involved, Brooke tells her about Andy's threat to claim that she wanted him to sleep with her, and about Dorothy's recent visits. She fears Andy's claims might keep her from ever getting custody of her kids back. Understanding what's on her mother's mind, Bridget promises not to call the police. However, she wants Brooke to call an anonymous help line to talk to someone about the rape, and she wants Brooke to go the hospital.

Bridget comforts her mom.
Brooke refuses to go to the hospital, so Bridget offers to examine her mom herself, to collect any evidence of the rape. Brooke then admits that she showered already, trying to wash the smell of that man off her body. Bridget says she understands, but Brooke disagrees and prays that Bridget will never have to go through this. Bridget goes to get her medical bag from the car, since she wants to draw some blood and to give Brooke a dose of progestin to prevent pregnancy. A sobbing Brooke tells Bridget to go ahead, since the only thing Brooke wants is to get her babies back. Bridget then takes her mom up to the bedroom and puts her in bed. She brings Brooke some tea and asks her to write down everything about the rape once she's up to it, in case Brooke changes her mind about the police. Brooke thanks Bridget for being there. Lying on the bed next to Brooke, Bridget promises that the kids will be home soon enough, since she is sure her mom will get past this in time. "And until then, you have me," she promises. Bridget kisses Brooke's forehead and whispers that she'll stay here to take care of Brooke.
