Stephanie frets that Brooke might get her kids back.
At the Forrester mansion, Felicia drops Dominick off with her mother, since Felicia has a date. Felicia asks if that was Dorothy Bascomb that she saw leaving earlier. Stephanie confirms that the Child Services agent was there and frets that Dorothy plans to recommend to the judge that Brooke get her kids back. When Stephanie bemoans her failed attempts to convince Ridge to fight for full custody, Felicia suggests that her mom let it go. Walking Felicia to the door, Stephanie says that she can't let go, since she doesn't want those kids to be neglected when Brooke starts parading men through her life again, like the "secret admirer" she's heard Brooke has. As she opens the door, Stephanie wishes that she could show Dorothy the "real" Brooke, so Child Services would agree that the kids should be with their father - and just as she makes that remark, she sees Nick standing in her doorway, glaring at her.

Nick warns Stephanie.
After Felicia leaves, Stephanie asks Nick what brings him by. Nick wants to talk about Brooke. Stephanie suggests that he stop trying to rescue Brooke and go home to his loving, pregnant wife, but Nick answers that this involves Taylor as well. Getting right to the point, he tells Stephanie that he wants Brooke to get her kids back, and he wants his wife left out of this conflict. He warns Stephanie that she'll deal directly with him if he finds out she's going after Brooke again. Stephanie suggests that he wouldn't be here if he didn't fear that Brooke might mess up again on her own. Nick tells her to leave Brooke be, but Stephanie suggests that he focus on his wife and his unborn child and forget about Brooke. Nick replies that being committed to his family doesn't mean he can't look out for Brooke. Stephanie points out that he can't watch Brooke all the time, so she thinks it's only a matter of time before Brooke reverts to her old ways. Nick again tells her that he wants Brooke to have her kids back. Stephanie says that the court will decide that, and that's the last she has to say about Brooke. She just wants to get on with her life, and she suggests that Nick do the same. Nick cautions Stephanie that he'll know she's behind it if Brooke's home is deemed unsafe for any reason. Stephanie reminds him that his lighter started the fire and bids him goodnight.

Phoebe asks Constantine for advice.
Phoebe stops by the Cafe Russe to talk to Constantine while he waits for his date to arrive. She tells him that she's worried about what might happen if she and Rick win the "Boldface Challenge," since she won't mean it when she gets on stage and sings "I want to spend my lifetime loving you" to Rick. Constantine tells her that singing is like acting, where you sometimes have to sing lyrics that you don't really mean. But at the same time, he's also confused, since she told him she misses Rick. Phoebe admits that she does miss Rick, but she can't help but be reminded of how he betrayed her with Ashley every time she's with him. "How am I supposed to sing a love song with the man who betrayed me?" she asks. Just do it, Constantine advises. As her friend and her producer, he instructs her to get out of here and get back to rehearsing for the concert.

Rick tries to get through to Phoebe.
Phoebe goes to Bridget's beach house and finds Rick sitting on the sofa. When Rick motions to her to come in but doesn't say a word, Phoebe asks what's wrong. Rick holds up a note stating that he lost his voice. Phoebe freaks out, since the concert is just a week away. She moves close to make sure he's OK - and as soon as she's close to his face, Rick pulls her next to him and kisses her! Phoebe fumes that he tricked her, but Rick laughs that he wanted to see the look on her face when she thought they couldn't sing together. He chuckles at the way she freaked out. Phoebe tries to cover and says that she didn't want to seem like an amateur if their duet wins. Rick notes that she admitted that they could win, since all her previous comments claimed that it couldn't happen. Phoebe turns to leave, but Rick tells her to wait. He wants to know if she felt anything when they just kissed. Phoebe fumes that he's just trying to mess with her head, but Rick counters that he's trying to show her and the whole world how he feels about her. He knows she shares his passions for music and for life - and he hopes that she might still have passion for him, too. He asks her to remember how good things used to be for them, because he thinks things could be good for them again.

Constantine makes a generous offer.
Back at Cafe Russe, Constantine's date arrives, and it's none other than Felicia. She admits that she's surprised that her invited her here, since Cafe Russe doesn't seem like his kind of place. Constantine admits that this isn't his normal spot, but Cafe Russe is the only place in L.A. that serves her favorite brand of champagne. Felicia asks how he knew what her favorite is; he tells her that he saw a picture of her on the Internet where she was having some bubbly on the French Riviera. Felicia's impressed, but she has to inform him that her drinking days are over, since that was something she did B.C. Before child, Constantine asks, or before cancer? Felicia is surprised that he knows about that too, but she points out that she's not sick anymore. Constantine says he knew that from his Internet research, too, which brings him to the reason he invited her here. After reading of her battle with cancer, he wants to donate all the proceeds from the Boldface Challenge to the research hospital that cured her. Felicia is clearly moved.

Brooke wonders about Andy's attention toward her.
Across the room, a surprised Brooke asks Andy why he's sending her gifts when they barely know each other. Andy informs her that they actually met before yesterday, although he admits that she was quite upset that night, and he fears that he might have made a bad first impression. He tries to charm her with facts that he read about her in the fashion magazines and commends her on her perfume, BeLieF. Brooke tells him that BeLieF actually prevents wrinkles. "You must be mainlining it," Andy laughs, "since your skin is flawless." When Brooke tells him that BeLieF removes wrinkles from clothing, Andy is embarrassed, but he tries to recover by reminding her of how he tried to buy her a drink the night they met. Brooke suddenly realizes that Andy is the guy who spilled his drink on her the night the kids were left alone. Andy admits that he's sorry about that, and he wants to make it up to her. Although he's a corporate lawyer, his sister in Chicago handles family law cases, so he thinks he can help Brooke out with her custody issues. He thinks it's sad to that Child Services agents often abuse their power, which is why he felt really bad when he heard about Brooke's losing custody of her kids. That's why he bought her the wind-up bird to cheer her up. He tries to hold Brooke's hand, just as a member of the paparazzi comes over and tries to get a photo of Brooke with her new guy. The maitre d' drags the shutterbug off and apologizes to Brooke. Andy guesses it must be hard to be famous, like a bird in a cage.

Felicia thanks Constantine.
When Brooke's take-out order arrives, she thanks Andy for keeping her company and says she should be going, since she has an important day tomorrow. Andy asks what she's doing tomorrow. Brooke seems taken aback by the query, so Andy apologizes. Brooke then tells him that the judge is reviewing her case tomorrow, so she'll hopefully have her kids back home soon. Still, she's prepared for the worst, especially knowing that her ex-mother-in-law is against her. Across the room, Felicia spots Brooke with Andy and pulls out her cell phone to tell her mother that Brooke is here with her "secret admirer." She remarks that the guy, who looks just like Brooke's usual type, is sitting with Brooke holding hands. "Well, that was fast," Stephanie quips. Meanwhile, Brooke bids Andy goodnight. He wishes her luck and hopes that tonight is the last night she spends home alone. Back at Felicia's table, Constantine wraps up a call and turns his attention back to his date, who is impressed that he wants to donate his concert proceeds to cancer research, He explains that it's a good cause, and he also hoped his gesture would prove to Felicia that he's not such a bad guy after the poor first impression he made when they met. He figured he'd get her to come around, so he asks if he succeeded. "Absolutely," Felicia says as she leans across the table to kiss him.

Andy stands in Brooke's darkened living room.
When Brooke gets home, she looks at the bird cage Andy got for her and smiles as the wind-up bird inside sings. Just then, her cell phone rings; she's surprised to find that it's Andy, who's waiting at the front gate to her home. Brooke is stunned that he followed her home. Andy explains that he had an article about a custody case his sister worked on that he wants Brooke to read before her hearing tomorrow. He offers to bring it up to the house, but Brooke tells him to just leave it in the mailbox. She then goes up to get ready for bed. After getting undressed and putting on a robe, she goes downstairs to lock up and arm the alarm. After punching in the alarm code, she starts to go up when she hears the bird chirping. Checking the cage, she sees the bird isn't in the cage. She then hears the chirping again and looks across the room, where she's stunned to see Andy standing in the darkness by the terrace doors. Stunned, she gasps and asks Andy what he's doing here.
