Nick anxiously waits for word from Storm.
At Forrester Creations, Nick and Jackie anxiously wait for word from Storm that the injunction against the Forresters is in place. Nick is especially anxious, as a suit against the Forresters for trademark infringement will give them an edge over the Forresters in the courtroom that they won't have on the catwalk. Taylor comes in and overhears the conversation and is stunned that Nick is suing the Forresters. After Jackie leaves, Taylor asks Nick how he can sue the Forresters for using their family's own name. Nick reminds her that he bought the Forrester name when he bought the company, but Taylor points out that it's the family's identity as well as their company's name. Nick points out that the Forresters knew this could come back to bite them when they chose their new company name, so he has no issue with biting them about it now. "The free ride's over," he declares, "and so will Forrester Originals be once I'm done."

Taylor is feeling especially amorous.
Taylor is still unsure about her husband's plan. Nick tells her to let him focus on the business while she focuses on their unborn child. He asks how the baby's doing, but Taylor isn't feeling very talkative. When Nick asks what's up, she says that she feels weird, like she has an alien inside her. Nick asks what she means. She explains that she's starting to wonder about the egg donor lately, since all she's wanted to do since she get pregnant is... Nick asks if she's talking about eating or sleeping, but he figures out what she means when she says, "you know." She doesn't know what's gotten into her, but she just knows that she needs to have him right now. "Right now?" Nick asks. Yes, Taylor responds as they start making love on Nick's desk.

Ridge makes breakfast in bed for Brooke.
Having spent the night on the lumpy mattress in the guest room, Ridge brings Brooke breakfast in bed. Brooke thanks him, especially when he tells her that he's been up since dawn. Ridge tells her not to worry after everything she's been through. Brooke says she's felt much better thanks to what he's done for her. Ridge tells her to hold that thought until after she has his waffles, but she says she was talking about his bringing the kids home to her. Ridge realizes now what he was doing by seeking full custody and wonders what he was thinking. Brooke admits that she was acting strange, so it's no wonder he felt that he had to protect the kids. Ridge just wishes he was here to protect her that night. "You're here now, and that means everything," Brooke points out.

Ashley asks Stephanie if she's heard from Ridge.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie prepares to take Hope and R.J. for tennis lessons at the country club, but Hope and R.J. just want to see their mommy today. When the doorbell rings, they hope it's Brooke, so they're disappointed to see that it's Ashley and Abby, stopping by on the way to Abby's playdate with a girl named Heather that lives down the road. Stephanie tells Ashley that the kids are on their way for a tennis lesson and asks Abby to help Hope and R.J. get their tennis stuff together. Once Abby gets the younger kids upstairs, Ashley asks Stephanie if she's heard from Ridge, since Ashley hasn't heard from him since he went over to Brooke's when Brooke didn't show at last night's concert. Stephanie wishes she could be a fly on the wall for that, since she's sure Brooke is upset. Ashley remarks that she's heard that Ridge and Brooke always make up after they fight, but Stephanie thinks it's different now that Brooke has lost her kids. Ashley responds that Ridge would never keep those kids from their mother. Of course not, Stephanie responds, suggesting that Ashley try calling Ridge again. Ashley does and is surprised when Ridge tells her he had to deal with Brooke last night, so he can't talk right now. As Ashley hangs up, Stephanie asks if Ridge and Brooke fought last night. Before Ashley can answer, Abby comes down, having gotten Hope and R.J. ready. Abby tells her mom they should get going, so Ashley and Abby say their goodbyes. As Ashley leaves, Stephanie comments that she has a good feeling now that Ridge is involved with Ashley and is giving the kids the stable home that Brooke can't.

Katie comes to see her big sister Brooke.
An anxious Brooke goes to answer her doorbell, hoping it's Ridge with the kids. It's not the kids, but Brooke is just as pleasantly surprised to find her sister Katie at her door. When Brooke asks why Katie is in town, Katie points out that their sister is getting married tomorrow (even though Thorne and Donna set a wedding date for next week just last night, the same night Katie arrived in town). Katie then tells Brooke that she heard about the custody issues with the kids, and she can't believe what Ridge is doing. She tried to call Brooke but kept getting voice-mail. Brooke admits that she went through the worst time in her life recently, but that's over, since Ridge is bringing the kids home today. Katie is thrilled, since she knows what a great mom Brooke is from all the times Brooke after her when their mom was working. But even so, Katie is concerned that she had to show her I.D. to a security guard when she arrived and asks if Brooke is OK. Brooke sniffles that everything's OK, especially now that Katie's here.

Felicia is surprised by Ridge's change of plans.
At the mansion, Felicia is about to escort Hope and R.J., in colorful tennis attire, to meet Stephanie for their tennis lesson when Ridge arrives. Ridge tells the kids that there's been a change of plans, since he's taking them to see their mom. Hope asks how long the visit will be, but Ridge informs them that he's taking them home for good. The kids excitedly cheer and give Ridge a big hug. Ridge then sends them up to get what they'll need for now, promising to bring the rest of their things later. While the kids run up, Felicia asks Ridge if their mother knows about this. Not yet, Ridge answers. Felicia thinks he better fix that, so Ridge calls Stephanie; when he gets her voice-mail, he leaves a message that he's taking the kids home to Brooke's where they belong. The kids anxiously run downstairs, ready to go, so Ridge ushers them to the car so they can get over to Mommy's house.

Stephanie tells Ashley that Ridge brought the kids home.
Soon after, Stephanie returns home, having gotten Ridge's message. She is looking at a photo of Hope and R.J. with Ridge when Ashley stops by again, since Abby forgot her sunglasses. Surprised that Stephanie is still here, Ashley asks what's going on. She's not really surprised when a saddened Stephanie tells him that Ridge dropped the custody fight and took the kids home to Brooke. Stephanie laments that Brooke must have done some number on Ridge to change his mind. Ashley asks if she's saying that Brooke seduced Ridge. Stephanie bets Brooke tried, but didn't succeed, something La Forrester attributes to Ashley's presence in Ridge's life. Even though she's sure Brooke did something to sway Ridge about the kids, Stephanie doesn't think Brooke will be able to play on all the history she and Ridge share this time.

Brooke is reunited with her kids.
When Ridge arrives at Brooke's front door, she anxiously looks and is filled with joy when the kids run into the house and into her arms. "Oh, my sweet, precious, wonderful babies!" she sobs as she embraces Hope and R.J., promising to never let them go ever again. Ridge looks on and watches the tender scene, gratified that he did the right thing. Ridge tells the kids to ease up on their mom, since she's a bit sore, but Brooke tells them she's perfect now that Hope and R.J. are here. She asks about their visit to Grandma and Grandpa's; they tell her that Grandpa let them draw lots of pictures for her, which Ridge promises to bring when he goes back for the rest of their stuff. Hope then asks if they have to go to tennis camp. When Brooke asks what that's about, Ridge explains that it was his mother's idea. Brooke asks the kids if they want to go to tennis camp. When they both say "No," Brooke nixes the idea, getting cheers from both kids. Hope then gets a little glum, asking if she and R.J. had to leave because she started the fire. Brooke assures her that none of this was her fault, and Ridge adds that Mommy wanted them here the whole time. Brooke and Ridge then promise the kids that they're back home, safe and sound where they belong, for good. Ridge then sends the kids to the kitchen for a snack, giving him a chance to talk to Brooke. Brooke thanks him for bringing the kids back. Ridge tells her that he meant what he said about not resting until he finds out fed Andy information about her. "When I find out who it is, they're gonna answer to me," he vows.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Stephanie picks up the newspaper and is stunned to see Andy's photo again, this time as part of an article reporting on his death on the Cafe Russe rooftop.
