Donna and Thorne arrive for the concert.
The concert hall is buzzing with activity as Constantine's crew gets ready for "The Boldface Challenge" to begin. Donna and Thorne arrive, wondering if Phoebe is nervous about her big night. Sure enough, Phoebe is backstage, and she confides in Constantine that her heart is thumping rapidly at the thought of appearing on the same stage with recording artists Elliot Yamin and Jon McLaughlin. Constantine reminds her that he told her before how big a deal this is and takes her over to meet the big time recording artists. Across the stage, a forlorn Rick watches Phoebe with Constantine, Elliot and Jon as his best buddy C.J. comes over to wish him luck.
Taylor and Nick are there to support Phoebe.
Backstage, Ridge and Ashley are impressed by the huge turnout for the concert. Ashley asks Ridge if Brooke is here to support Rick. "The way she's been acting lately, who knows?" Ridge responds. Meanwhile, Taylor pops into Phoebe's dressing room to wish Phoebe luck. The doc is sure Phoebe will do great, no matter which duet wins. Phoebe thanks her mom for the vote of confidence. Taylor then goes to find her seat and waits for Nick to arrive, and her loving hubby shows up in the "nick" of time, just as the concert's about to start.
Bridget and Eric want to show their support, too.
Eric and Bridget arrive and look for the seats Rick saved for them up front. They spot Thorne and Donna and head over to join them. Backstage, Rick steals one last moment with Phoebe to tell her how he feels. He knows she's confused, but he thinks all that will go away once they're singing together on stage tonight. "I hope you believe every single word I sing to you," he pleads.
Jon Mclaughlin sings "Beautiful Disaster."
Constantine takes the stage to thank the crowd for coming and for voting in the Challenge. He then introduces their first act, up and coming Indiana-based recording artist Jon McLaughlin. Jon takes his place behind the piano and performs his recent top 40 single "Beautiful Disaster."
Elliot sings "Wait for You."
C.J. sits with Felicia and Phoebe's friend Madison at a table beside the stage and leads a round or applause as Jon finishes his number. Once Jon leaves the stage, Constantine sits on a stool at the edge of the stage to introduce their next act, his good friend Elliot Yamin. Walking down a staircase on the stage, Elliot (who was the third place finalist in season 5 of American Idol) immediately breaks into his current single, "Wait For You." The audience gets into the song and Bridget (mirroring her portrayer Ashley Jones's admiration of the artist) sings along. When Elliot sings the lyrics, "Why can't we just, just start over again, get it back to the way it was? If you give me the chance, I can love you right, but you're tellin' me it won't be enough." Rick is clearly reminded of his own situation as he meaningfully looks over at Phoebe.
Constantine sings a tune from his latest CD.
Next, Constantine himself takes the stage and belts out "Fading Into You," a song from his new CD. The crows applauds as he wraps up the song.
C.J. and Felicia lead the applause.
C.J. and Felicia cheer from their vantage point as Constantine declares that the moment of truth has arrived. It's time to find out who won "The Boldface Challenge." One of the roadies tells Rick it's time for him and Phoebe to go onstage. Rick thanks the man and tries to get one last word in with Phoebe, but she suggests they wait to see what happens first.
Phoebe and Rick await the announcement of the winner.
Constantine then calls Rick and Phoebe to the stage and asks the young lady to do the honors of opening the envelope and announcing the winner. Phoebe tears the envelope open as she and Rick both anxiously wait to see who the winner is.

Brooke contests Stephanie's claims about Andy.
Over at Brooke's house, the mood is more somber as Stephanie grills Brooke about Andy and the picture in the newspaper. Stephanie tears into Brooke for going out on a very public date with this man the night before the custody hearing. Brooke insists that it wasn't a date, but Stephanie begs to differ; all this talk about Andy brings back painful memories of that night for Brooke, who insists that Stephanie doesn't know what she's talking about. Stephanie hopes the great sex was worth it, since it cost Brooke her kids. Brooke orders La Forrester to shut up and asks if Stephanie wants to see her suffer. As difficult as Brooke finds it to believe, Stephanie insists that she doesn't want to see Brooke suffer, since she is only concerned with the needs of the children. "The children need their mother," Brooke asserts, leading Stephanie to ask Brooke how much time she's spent with those kids lately. Brooke counters that Stephanie kept her from the kids and orders the Forrester matriarch out!

Stephanie boasts that Brooke will soon have lots of time alone.
Stephanie is more than happy to give Brooke some time alone, since she's sure Brooke will have plenty of time alone from here on in. Brooke threatens to call security; Stephanie counters that Brooke should call her brother while she's at it. Brooke is more than happy to do that, so she can have Storm file a restraining order to keep Stephanie from Hope and R.J. once they return home. Stephanie thinks Storm will have better things to occupy his time and waves the petition for full custody of the kids in Brooke's face. Brooke is sure it's a fake, since Stephanie has no say in the kids' lives, and she knows Ridge would never do this to her. Stephanie assures her that it's the real deal, filed today because Ridge no longer trusts Brooke. She points Brooke to the last page, where Ridge signed the petition. Brooke is shocked. Stephanie claims that Brooke gave Ridge no choice, since Brooke failed to use her time without the kids to heal. Brooke counters that she won't let Stephanie do this. "Nobody is gonna take my children from me," declares Brooke.
