Brooke is taken aback by Andy's intrusion.
A frightened Brooke asks Andy why he's in her house. He reminds her about the article he brought that might help her custody case. Brooke recalls that she asked him to leave it in the mailbox and asks how he got in. Andy explains that he noticed the other day, when he delivered the bird, that she leaves her terrace doors open, so he came in that way. Brooke thanks him for bringing the article and promises to read it tomorrow, but she thinks she should call it night so she can be rested for her hearing in the morning. Andy however thinks she should celebrate the return of her kids and pours them drinks. "Enjoy your last night of freedom, have a little grown up fun," he suggests. Brooke tells him that she's not in the mood and asks him to leave, but Andy refuses to take no for an answer. Brooke doesn't think it's wise to drink before her hearing, and she really wants to get some rest, so she asks Andy to please leave. As she goes to open the door, Andy calls out for her to stop. Brooke seems shocked, but Andy points out that she forgot to disarm her alarm. Brooke punches in the alarm code and lets Andy out. He asks one more time if she's sure she wants him to go; when Brooke says she's sure, Andy kisses her hand and tells her, "See you soon." Once Andy leaves, Brooke nervously re-arms the alarm and locks all the doors, including the terrace, before going up to bed.

Phoebe is distracted while rehearsing with Rick.
At Bridget's beach house, Phoebe continues to be distracted while rehearsing with Rick. Frustrated, Rick tells her that they can do this, but Phoebe can't sing "I want to spend my lifetime loving you" with him when she doesn't feel it. Rick asks why she feels it with Constantine, but not with him. Phoebe explains that singing with Constantine is just singing, but it's different when she's with Rick. "Singing was our connection. It's how we fell in love," she points out. Rick guesses that she's afraid of that happening again, but Phoebe denies it. Rick suggests that problem isn't that she doesn't feel the connection when she's singing with him, but that she doesn't want to feel it. Phoebe doesn't think it matters why she can't do it, because she just can't. Rick however thinks the feeling is there, but she's just fighting it. Phoebe cries out that it's not the same anymore; she trusted him, but now everything's changed, and all the "I love yous" in the world can't bring what they had back. Rick admits that he messed up and wishes he could erase what he did, but he knows that he can't. All he can do is promise that he'll never betray her again.

Rick asks Phoebe to give him a chance.
Phoebe tells Rick that it's too late for that, so he asks her to please tell him what he can do to make things right. Phoebe isn't sure how to answer Rick, and more importantly, she's not even she if she wants to, since she can't deal with a relationship built on broken promises and maybes. Rick tells Phoebe that he's sure about what they share, but Phoebe how he can be so sure, since that doesn't exist anymore. Rick says that they can't go back, but they can move forward. They'll never forget what happened before, as he knows from the many times his mom has tried to that and failed, but he thinks they can rebuild on the mess that their relationship became. After a disaster, he points out, you always rebuild things so they are better and stronger than they were before, and he thinks it can be that way for them. He wants to be on that stage with her, he explains, so he can show the world how much he loves her, but he can't do that if she doesn't give him a chance. "Give me a chance to help you believe," he pleads.

Stephanie is surprised to learn that Brooke left the restaurant alone.
Felicia returns to the Forrester mansion and proceeds to tell her mother about her date with Constantine. She raves about how the singer won her over with his generous offer to donate the proceeds from his concert to cancer research, but Stephanie only wants to hear about Brooke. Guessing that this is about the custody hearing, Felicia points out that being out with a man doesn't make a woman a bad mother, or else she'd be a bad mom, too. Stephanie points out that Brooke seldom restricts herself to one man, and she doesn't want to see those two kids hang around while their mom goes through a string of men. As much as she hates to disappoint her mother, Felicia informs her that Brooke left the restaurant alone.

Constantine is glad to see Felicia.
Later, Felicia drops by Constantine's loft and finds him in his recording studio singing the song he wrote the night Phoebe stayed on his couch, "A Girl Like You." Seeing Felicia standing in the loft through the window, Constantine leaves the booth and joins her. "I guess you can't keep me off your mind," he guesses. Felicia says that it's hard to forget what he did tonight. He admits that he did a little research on her before their date. "Did that research tell you I used to be a sucker for bad boys?" Felicia playfully asks.

Felicia has an idea how to thank Constantine.
Constantine asks if she thinks he's a bad boy. Felicia concedes that she thought so when they first met, but she's not so sure now. What she does know, however, is that he's a generous man who has treated her niece well, and that says something to her. Constantine suggests that he bang up a guitar to preserve his bad boy image, but Felicia laughs that she has a better idea about how to pass the time. "I wanted to thank you," she explains, looking into his eyes. She says that she considered chocolate or champagne, but then she thought of something else. "What I really wanted to give you is this," she purrs, passionately kissing him.

Andy recalls something Stephanie told him.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Stephanie calls Andy, who is standing outside Brooke's house. She asks how things went with Brooke, since she heard his night didn't go too well. Andy is surprised that she knows and asks if she's tailing him. Stephanie says that she just wants to know if he plans to see Brooke again. Andy tells her how he followed Brooke home and tried to get her to have a drink with him, but she turned him down. Stephanie tells him that he's a charming fellow and urges him not to give up. After hanging up, Andy remembers his last conversation with Stephanie, where she tried to convince him that he could be with a woman like Brooke. He recalls her telling him, "She's just a regular gal from the valley. Eats oatmeal for breakfast, runs in the park for exercise. hides her key under the flower pot just like the rest of us." He looks around and sees a flower pot by the front door.

Andy attacks Brooke.
Upstairs in the house, Brooke is headed for bed when she hears a noise downstairs. She goes down to take a look, but she she doesn't see anything, she tells herself that she's just being silly and returns to the bedroom. She sits down at her dressing table in her bedroom and starts to put on lotion when she is suddenly grabbed from behind! Clamping his had over her mouth, Andy asks, "Did you miss me?" Brooke tries to scream, but Andy hushes her and tells her not to say anything. He tells her that he knew she was sitting up here in her sexy lingerie, waiting for him to come back. He laughs that he knows that they say anticipation is everything, but they could have had a great night tonight, and he's waited too long. Brooke tries to resist, but he tells her that it's just the two of them here. She responds with a knee to his groin! As Andy tries to recover, Brooke rushes out of the bedroom and runs downstairs, but Andy quickly follows. Brooke gets downstairs and struggles with the door, but Andy pulls her back into the living room, pulling her robe off in the process. Andy then pushes the half-naked Brooke to the floor. Brooke slaps him, but Andy hits her back and pins her to the ground. Brooke asks him to stop, but he's not listening. Ripping off his jacket, he tells her, "You're not going anywhere."
