Bridget wishes Rick luck.
At Bridget's beach house, she finds Rick drinking mile from the carton and scolds him for leaving his gross bacteria on the container that way. Rick offers to move back in with their mom if Bridget doesn't like his habits, but Bridget points out that Brooke doesn't want them watching over her. "I guess you're stuck with me," Rick playfully quips. Bridget asks why he's in such a good mood. He tells her that he's excited about his plan to use the signing contest to win Phoebe back. Bridget wishes him luck before heading over to check on their mom house on the way to work. After his sister leaves, Rick decides to log onto boldfacerecords.com to vote again.

Phoebe talks to Ridge about the Boldface Challenge.
Ridge sits in his living room with Phoebe, asking her over coffee why he had to hear about "The Boldface Challenge" from her appearance on "The Rich Ginger Show". He tells her that he's since heard about Rick's bid to get votes by getting plans to drag banners promoting their duet through the sky, and he admits that it has him worried given how Rick hurt her. Phoebe concedes that Rick want overboard, but she points out that Constantine is equally determined to win, and at least they'll know for sure this time which duet fans like best. She asks her dad if he's gone to the web site to vote yet. "If I do, I'll vote for you and Constantine," Ridge reveals. Phoebe asks if he'd at least listen to her duet with Rick, but Ridge, while supportive of her music, thinks she'll be sending Rick the wrong signals if she gets on stage with Rick after the way he hurt her. Phoebe concurs that Rick hurt her, even though she's sure he didn't just wake up and decide to hurt her by sleeping with Ashley. Ridge is surprised by her attitude; Phoebe explains that she just wants to be fair, although she doesn't know if she can get on stage with Rick if their duet wins. Ridge thinks that's natural, which is all the more reason why he thinks she shouldn't do it and should instead just forget Rick.

Ashley offers her opinion.
Ashley enters the room. When Ridge offers Ashley some coffee, Phoebe realizes that her dad has forgiven Ashley. When Ridge tells her that he accepted Ashley's apology, Phoebe asks why it's OK for him to forgive Ashley, but not for her to forgive Rick. Ridge asks if she wants to forgive Rick, but she isn't sure. Ridge tells her that Rick is a loser who doesn't deserves her. Phoebe asks Ashley what she thinks; Ashley responds that she doesn't think Rick is a loser, but she doesn't feel comfortable having this conversation and decides to leave for the office. After Ashley leaves, Phoebe reminds her dad that he said it was over with Ashley. Ridge counters that she told him not to break up with Ashley just because of her. Phoebe agrees that it's his right to forgive Ashley, just as it's her right to forgive Rick. Ridge hopes she doesn't do that, because he really thinks Rick is wrong for her. Phoebe tells him to stop treating her like she's too naive to make her own decisions just because she's 18. Given his reluctance to hear her out, she wonders if he's the right person for her to confide in. Ridge tells her that she's not mature enough to make this decision, and he points out that he's known her her life. "And you've known Rick all his," Phoebe counters. Which is exactly why he's saying this, Ridge responds. He knows the right guy is out there for her somewhere, but he's sure that guy isn't Rick.

Rick tells Ashley that he's committed to Phoebe.
Ashley drops by the beach house to talk to Rick. Before Ashley can say anything, Rick wants her to know that he's committed to getting Phoebe back. Ashley admits that she assumed that, and she's happy for him. But she also doesn't think Ridge feels the same way. Rick asks when she talked to Ridge, so she tells him that Ridge forgave her. Rick is a bit surprised, but he also thinks that means there's a chance for Phoebe and him. Ashley tells him that Phoebe misses him. Rick is glad to hear that, but Ashley asks if he's willing to run the risk of hurting Phoebe again. Rick tells her that he won't repeat his past mistakes, not that he thinks what he and Ashley shared was a mistake. But when it comes down to it, he believes that Phoebe is the one he wants. Ashley asks how he can be sure. "If I wasn't, I never would've let you go," he explains.

Alexandria wants to surprise her daddy.
At the Forrester mansion, Alexandria asks Eric and Stephanie to take her home so she can plan a surprise for when her Daddy comes home. Stephanie thinks that's a great idea and sends Aly to get her things. As Aly runs out, Stephanie wonders if she should invite Ridge and Ashley over. Eric tells her to leave those two alone for now, since they just made up. Stephanie admits he's right and promises to focus on Thorne, especially given how she and Thorne left things on such a bad note before he left town. Eric reminds her that she didn't help things with her comments about Brooke on TV, since that really upset Thorne. Aly returns with her stuff and asks if she has time to pick some flowers for decorations. Eric thinks she can if she hurries off. Meanwhile, Stephanie has brought some peanut brittle, since she recalls that's Thorne's favorite. "It's Felicia's favorite," Eric reminds her. Stephanie is glad they're doing this given how vulnerable Thorne is these days. She can't wait to meet the girt Thorne's been dating. Eric suggests that Thorne might not appreciate her input, but Stephanie thinks Thorne needs some special attention right now.

Thorne brings Donna back to L.A.
Thorne and Donna arrive at his beach house. Donna asks to be carried over the threshold. When Thorne points out that they're not married, Donna suggests they do it on the threshold instead. Thorne takes her inside her new home, where she looks at her engagement ring and comments on how big it is, like everything about her husband-to-be. Thorne tells her that she's good for his ego. He then suggests that they go pick up Aly, but Donna's not quite ready to face his mother just yet, since she worries that Stephanie will oppose their engagement. Thorne tells her not to worry, but Donna would rather stay here and enjoy their time together, so she strips off her dress to reveal a skimpy blue lingerie outfit she bought in Vegas. Thorne likes what he sees and takes her off to bed. When they're done, they sit in their robes on chaise lounges outside, feeding each other strawberries. Donna suddenly gets the crazy idea to go pick up Aly (I guess she's over her fear of Stephanie after sex and strawberries) and go back to Vegas to elope. Thorne is surprised, since he thought she'd want a big wedding. Donna says that she's learned from all Brooke's big weddings that a wedding is just a day, but what's really important is the marriage. She really wants the two of them and Aly to be a family. Thorne says he'll think about it. Donna suggests that they compromise by getting Aly, going to Vegas to elope and then letting his mother throw a big reception for them. Thorne considers the idea and kisses Donna.

Stephanie is stunned to see a half naked Donna in Thorne's house.
Stephanie, Eric and Aly arrive at the beach house. When Stephanie sees a woman's dress on the floor, she suggests that Eric take Aly to the beach to find shells to decorate the table. Eric wants to put Aly's stuff inside, but he then sees the dress on the floor and agrees to take Aly to the beach. Alone in the room, Stephanie looks around and picks the dress up off the floor. As she looks at the dress, Thorne comes in and is shocked to see his mother there. Stephanie explains that Aly wanted to surprise him with a party to celebrate his homecoming, but she sees that the party has already started. Thorne suggests that his mother leave now, but Stephanie wants to meet the young lady he's been seeing. Just then, Donna comes in wearing a spotted bra and panties set, purring that the "little kitten" is looking for her "big strong tiger." When Stephanie sees Donna, she accuses Ms. Logan of whoring herself out to Thorne and guesses this is Donna's way of living up to her threat of getting back at her for what Donna thinks she did to Brooke. She hopes Thorne used lots of condoms when showing Donna a good time.

Donna tells Thorne to ask his mother to leave.
Donna tells Thorne to ask his mother to leave. Stephanie laughs at Donna's attempt to take charge after a roll in the hay. Thorne tells his mother to stop; Stephanie retorts, "You sleep with dogs, honey, you get up with fleas," telling Donna to go work the same street corner as her sister. Donna refuses to let Stephanie treat her like she did Brooke and orders Stephanie to leave, but Stephanie tells Thorne to tell "that bitch" Donna to take her bag of tricks and go. Thorne refuses, so Stephanie says she'll do it herself and starts to drag Donna to the door! "Get your hands off my fiancee!" shouts Thorne, shocking his mother yet again.
