Thorne and Christian arrive at Taylor's house at the same time.
At the Bel Air mansion, Hector thanks Taylor; he's amazed that it doesn't bother her to have him stay here after everything he put her through. She admits he didn't always act appropriately, but she thinks his heart was in the right place. The doorbell rings; Hector thinks it might be his brother Christian, who just got back from Africa, but Taylor thinks it might be Thorne. When Taylor goes down, both Thorne and Christian are there. Christian tells Thorne that he was in Africa when he got the news about Hector. He still can't believe that his brother is blind, and he's grateful that Taylor took Hector in. While Christian goes up to see his brother, Thorne tells Taylor that they should get started. Taylor thanks Thorne for helping her move the furniture around, to make things easier for Hector. Thorne says he's glad to help and gets started.

Hector opens up to his brother about his feelings for Taylor.
Christian comes into Hector's room and sees his brother stumbling as he tries to find a shirt on the floor. Christian offers to help; Hector gives his brother a hug and thanks him for coming. Christian offers to help Hector put his shirt on, but Hector says he can do it. Christian tells Hector that he's so sorry. As Christian sits down on the bed, Hector asks if his brother knows of any experimental treatments that could restore his sight. Christian says he'll have to talk to Hector's doctors first. Hector asks his brother to do that; he explains that he and Taylor grew close before the accident, but then he feared that they lost that closeness. But now, Taylor has proved that she wants him here by inviting him to stay. Christian says that Taylor just wants to help him, but Hector is sure that more can come of this.

Taylor tells Thorne that she doesn't have romantic feelings for Hector.
Downstairs, Thorne helps Taylor rearrange the furniture. He admires the lengths she's gone to in order to help Hector, although he knows from personal experience how helpful she can be. He doesn't know where he and Ally would be without her. Taylor hopes he's not afraid that she won't have time for him or Alexandria, because she won't let that happen. He's too important to her. But Hector is important too, Thorne states. Taylor agrees that she and Hector have been through a lot, not all of it good. Thorne says that she doesn't need to explain herself, but she thinks she does. After all, she's allowing a man who had feelings for her to live in her house. That's why she made it clear to Hector that she doesn't feel the same way about him as he does about her. Thorne is glad to hear that. He recalls how he felt after they kissed the other day, and he hopes he's not reading too much into that. Taylor assures him that she cares about him and Alexandria, and she's not the kind of person who would kiss someone just because she felt sorry for them. Still, she has to say that she feels a bit guilty. Thorne says he does, too, because it's so soon after Darla's death. But as he each day passes, he feels like Darla is guiding the two of them together, so he can get past the anger and the bitterness. He feels like Darla is telling him that it's OK for him to move on with his life - a life with Taylor! He leans in and kisses her. As they pull away from the kiss, they smile at each other. Taylor then gives him a hug, but over his shoulder, we see that she looks guilty.

At the beach house, Bridget again looks in her photo album. As she looks at a photo from her wedding to Nick aboard the Marlin, she flashes back to making love to Nick last night. She smiles as she says to herself that everything seemed so impossible, but after that one night, it might actually happen. She then looks across the room to a table where a photo of her and Brooke sits next to one of Eric and Stephanie; she picks up the photo of her and her mom and seems sad.

Brooke tells Nick that she wants to be married to him.
Still in the bedroom at Brooke's house, Nick tells Brooke that something happened, something that she needs to know. What she needs, Brooke says, is his forgiveness. Nick tells her that this isn't about her and Ridge. Brooke says that it's about them, and about his putting his wedding ring back on to give their marriage another chance. Nick doesn't think he can do that after last night. He tells her that he was angry last night, so he went to the Marlin. Brooke thinks he had a right to be angry after she let him down. She tells him that she was wrong to let Ridge kiss her; it was instinct, but she swears it won't happen again. Nick says this isn't about her and Ridge. Brooke knows he doesn't want to talk to Ridge, but she thinks they have to deal with this. Nick agrees; in fact, they both have to face what they did. Brooke asks what he did last night. Nick replies that he really thought they were finished, and that's when it happened. Before he can say any more, he gets a call on his cell from Bridget, who pleads with him not to tell her mother what happened. Nick says he has to go. Bridget begs him not to say anything about last night to Brooke, but he hangs up. Brooke then tells Nick that she knows what happened last night: he fell out of love with her. But this marriage means too much to her, so she won't let things end this way.

Felicia tries to figure out Bridget's good mood.
Back at the beach house, Bridget recalls living there while she was pregnant, with Nick leaning close to her belly and kissing it. She's brought back to reality by Felicia, who has come by to see her little sister. Seeing the urn and baby blanket on the table, Felicia recalls the losses that Bridget has had this past year. Bridget agrees that she's been through a lot, but she thinks things are finally looking up for her. Felicia asks Bridget if she spoke to Brooke yet about last night. About last night? Bridget asks, wondering how Felicia could know. Felicia responds that she was referring to Ridge kissing Donna on national TV last night. "Oh, that," Bridget responds. Felicia guesses that Brooke was jealous after seeing that kiss on TV. When Bridget evades the question, Felicia bets Bridget didn't want to tell her because she's friends with Nick, but Ridge's stunt worked, and Brooke and Ridge are getting back together. Smiling, Bridget replies that in the end, they'll all end up with who they're meant to be with.

Nick decides if he should take his wedding ring back.
Brooke refuses to give up on Nick, and she won't let Nick give up, either. She promises to stop listening to Ridge and Stephanie; she'll do whatever it takes to prove her love to Nick. Nick says that she has nothing to prove, but she wants to prove what their relationship means to her. Maybe she's just self-destructive, or maybe Ridge has been in her life for so long that she can't break free. But she sees now that she has to break free. She knows she betrayed Nick, which is why she has to fix it. Nick says that she can't fix it. But they can get past it and move on, Brooke says. Nick asks if she's suggesting they just forget about last night. Yes, Brooke says, and she won't take no for an answer. "This marriage isn't over," she declares as she holds up Nick's wedding ring. Nick turns away from Brooke, who urges him to take his ring back. Nick flashes back to being with Bridget last night. He shakes his head and tells Brooke that he can't take this, not after last night. But if he puts his ring back on, Brooke says, they can forget last night. Nick is silent, leaving Brooke wondering just what she has to say to prove her love to Nick. Nick says that he loves her so much. "Then forgive me," Brooke says, holding his face in her hands. She says she's so sorry. Nick says he is, too. Brooke tells him that it's not too late to have the marriage they wanted, without Stephanie or Ridge in their lives. It'll just be the two of them and the kids. And they can never let each other down again, Nick states. Never, Brooke agrees. She slides his ring back on and they kiss.

Bridget is stunned to see that Nick's wearing his wedding ring.
Soon after, Nick calls Bridget and tells her that he's coming over. He arrives shortly after. Bridget guesses that he talked to her mom, but he didn't tell Brooke about what happened between them last night. When Nick confirms that he didn't tell Brooke about last night, Bridget is relieved, since she knows her mother would never understand. In fact, even she doesn't fully understand herself. She tells Nick that she's been thinking about how crazy life can be, and she has to admit that she never truly got over him. Nick admits that he never stopped caring about her, either. Bridget then says that it's easy to understand how he became infatuated with her mother; she knows how easy it is to get so caught up in everything that you don't see what's going on, but eventually, you see it. It's not something that can be explained to you, since you need to learn it for yourself in your own way. Nick tells her that he needs to explain something. She tells him that he doesn't have to explain, because she knows how hard it can be to face reality. She then looks at his hand and sees his wedding ring; she asks why he put the ring back on. Nick tells her that he talked with her mother, who said she was sorry and asked for another chance. "But you can't, because she'll never be yours," Bridget says. Nick then tells her that he and Brooke agreed to start over. Bridget is stunned! She begs Nick not to let her mother hurt him again, because nothing is going to change! He's only going to be disappointed again.

Nick tells Bridget that he's committed to her mother. That's why he has to tell Brooke the truth and hope that Brooke can forgive both of them. Bridget just stares at him, still stunned.
