A magazine interview leaves Brooke wondering.

Brooke is in her bedroom, waiting for Nick to come up so they can have their "second honeymoon" after renewing their vows. While waiting, she picks up the latest issue of EYE ON FASHION, with Ridge on the cover. She reads the article inside, which talks about Ridge and Donna's European publicity tour for the Brooke's Bedroom line. The writer states that Ridge is having a successful showing all across Europe, while Donna Logan has stepped up beautifully for her sister. But Brooke just sighs as she reads the writer asking, "But where is Brooke Logan?"

Nick is stunned by Bridget's news.

Downstairs, a stunned Nick can't believe that Bridget just said she is pregnant. Bridget confirms that she is pregnant, and she tells Nick that he is father. Nick is speechless. Bridget tells him that the news came as a shock to her, too. Nick asks if she's sure; Bridget replies that she just took some tests at the hospital that showed she is pregnant, and she knows he is the father. She was so determined to keep her mother from finding out that she and Nick slept together that night, but now she's pregnant with Nick's child. Nick remains silent, so Bridget tells him to say SOMETHING! They go out on the terrace, where Bridget explains that she thought that she had to tell her mom the truth, as that would be the only way she and Brooke could still have a relationship. But then she got here and found Brooke and Nick renewing their vows, and she felt embarrassed and ashamed. Nick goes back inside; he picks up a wedding photo of him and Brooke and asks what he's done. He then asks Bridget why she was going to tell Brooke first. She admits that he's right. She should have come to him first, but she wasn't really thinking this through. She wishes that she didn't have to worry about this at all, but she recalls the problems she had with Nicole. She thinks it might be a good idea to check her HCG levels again, to make sure the pregnancy is going in the right direction before they get too attached. Nick asks if she suspects problems again; Bridget says she just wants to be safe.

Bridget tells Nick to make her mother happy.

Clad in a robe, Brooke comes down and calls out for Nick; when she gets to the bottom of the stairs, she's surprised to see that Bridget is still there. Bridget says she was just leaving, but Brooke tells Bridget that she didn't mean to run her off. Seeing the worried look on Bridget's face, Brooke asks if everything is OK. Bridget replies that everything's NOT all right, but she doesn't want to intrude and mess up Brooke's special night with her husband. Brooke tells Bridget she's not messing anything up and asks Nick if he'd agree. Before Nick can answer, R.J. starts crying, so Brooke bids Bridget goodnight and goes to check on her son. Bridget turns to Nick and observes about her mother, ""She's really happy. You make her happy. She deserves tonight." She tells Nick that she'll get the HCG test done in the morning and she'll call him with the results. If everything is fine, they can tell her mother about the baby together. She turns to leave, but Nick stops her at the door and hugs her. Bridget then breaks the embrace and leaves. Nick closes the door and sits down on the stairs, pondering the situation.

Shane is in Taylor's living room, looking a photo of the good doctor as he smugly ponders his options. Should he ask Taylor for a million dollars? Or should he set his sights higher and become a friend of this important family - or maybe even one of them? Hector enters and asks Shane what he's up to. Shane asks Hector how he knew he was there. Hector replies that it was Shane's cheap aftershave. He adds that he may be blind, but he can see Shane's a con man, which is why he intends to make sure Shane only stays for the few days that Taylor agreed to. Shane thinks Hector is awfully sure of himself for a man who isn't what he appears to be. Before Hector can reply, Phoebe comes in and tells Shane that she's ready for their date. Hector is stunned that Phoebe is going out with Shane and asks Phoebe if her mother knows. Phoebe tells him to relax, as she and Shane are only going to get a bite to eat. She turns to the door to leave, but Shane hangs back and smugly tells Hector that they'll bring him a doggy back. Shane then laughs as he tells Hector to try not to burn down the house.

Taylor commemorates 60 days of sobriety.

Stephanie accompanies Taylor to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, where Taylor receives a chip commemorating that she has stayed sober for 60 days. After accepting the chip from the group leader, Taylor faces the group and tells them how important this is to her. She talks about how staying sober has been the hardest thing she's done in her life. That's why she's grateful to have the support of the group, and of friends and family who love her. She's especially grateful for her friend Stephanie, who is here tonight, and Stephanie's son Thorne, who has stood by her with his compassion and goodness.

Thorne tells Taylor that she's helped him love again.

After the meeting, Taylor returns home and finds that Thorne has prepared a romantic dinner by the pool. So this is why he missed the meeting, Taylor realizes. Thorne tells her that she deserves this and asks to see her 60 day chip. She shows it to him, and he tells her that he's proud of her. Taylor tells him that she could never have done this without him, so she doesn't know how to thank him. Thorne tells her not to see herself short, because she's the one who fought to get here, and she'll be the one to keep fighting going forward. For the rest of her life, Taylor agrees. Thorne tells her that he believes in her. She was there for him and Alexandria in the darkest time of their lives, and she helped him heal, so he could make sense of a life he never thought would make sense ever again. He never knew it would turn into something like this, especially not so soon. But it has, and he's not going to question or analyze it. He's just going to accept it and be grateful that his heart can love again, thanks to Taylor. He then draws Taylor close for a passionate kiss.

Hector has a startling realization about Shane.

Upstairs, Hector is on the phone with his police detective friend, Jim, checking out Shane's story. Jim confirms that Shane's story checked out; Shane had indeed been arrested for stealing a sandwich. Jim looks at the rap sheet he faxed Hector earlier and says that he could see why Shane would need to steal a sandwich then, since the photos show Shane with a straggly beard, looking like he hadn't bathed in days. Hector asks when and where the sandwich was stolen; Jim says that it was at the Big Rock Market on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on the 15th, at about 9 PM. After hanging up the phone, Hector starts to wonder: that was the night and time of Darla's accident, and that shop was near the accident scene. Could it be a coincidence? He decides that it can't be, which means that Shane McGrath was there when Taylor hit Darla. Shane saw everything, and now Phoebe is with the gardener. Hector hopes he can reach Phoebe on her cell phone.
