Donna and Stephanie
Stephanie tells Donna that she'll never be part of the Forrester family.
Stephanie is in the Forrester CEO's office, looking at the latest photos for the Brooke's Bedroom line. Donna enters and sees the look on Stephanie's face; she comments that Stephanie looks like she's been sucking on a lemon and asks what's wrong. What's wrong, Stephanie retorts, are these photos. Stephanie explains that Brooke may have done some wild things when modeling for the Bedroom line, but these latest photos of Donna are just cheapening the company's reputation. Donna argues that she's making lots of money for the company, but Stephanie counters that there are more important things than money. Donna feels that she has nothing to apologize for. Stephanie guesses that Donna wants to live the good life with Ridge; she warns, "You can jiggle, wiggle and toss your hair all around, but you won't be part of my family." Donna thinks Ridge might disagree, especially since Ridge asked her to help him find a house, far from prying eyes. Stephanie isn't surprised that Donna is taking advantage of Ridge when he's vulnerable. Donna reminds her that Ridge is a grown man who appreciates what Donna has to offer.

As Donna checks out the dresses she showed to Brooke earlier, Stephanie observes that they all know what Donna has to offer Ridge. Donna asks Stephanie if she has something against sex. Stephanie takes that to mean that Donna is sleeping with Ridge, but Donna states that it hasn't gone that far. Stephanie tells Donna that she's the wrong woman for Ridge, who is still in love with Brooke. Donna infers from that statement that Stephanie hopes Brooke's marriage falls apart, so Brooke will rush back to Ridge. Stephanie explains that she wants Ridge to be happy, and she thinks that reuniting him with Brooke and their son will do that. Donna points out that Ridge and Brooke would have been together a long time ago if Stephanie had only appreciated Brooke long ago. But now, Brooke has found happiness with Nick, and Donna doesn't see that ever changing.

Felicia
Felicia gives Bridget some advice.
In the hospital, Bridget tells Felicia that she knows Brooke will feel horribly betrayed once Nick tells her the truth. But Bridget doesn't think that matters; she feels that she just has to hope for her baby's sake that Nick and her mom can work this out, and that her mother can forgive her. And what it Brooke can't forgive her? Felicia asks. Bridget doesn't even want to go there now. Felicia changes the subject and asks Bridget if she's considered that Brooke might forgive her, but not Nick. Bridget points out that her mom really loves Nick. Felicia observes that Brooke's love for Nick is based on the fact that sea-faring Nick has never hurt Brooke over and over the way Ridge has - at least, until now. Bridget argues that Nick thought his marriage was over when they slept together. And it probably is over, Felicia states, because that marriage never stood a chance. She points out that Brooke still isn't over Ridge, just as Bridget isn't fully over Nick. She thinks this is Bridget's chance to tell Nick how she feels. Felicia suggests that this child might signal new beginnings for Brooke and Ridge, and for Bridget and Nick - that is, assuming Bridget really wants Nick. Bridget says that she doesn't want that, because she doesn't want Nick if he's still in love with her mom. That's why she prays to God that Nick can make Brooke understand. Felicia thinks that sounds like guilt talking. Maybe it is, Bridget agrees. But even if it is, Felicia responds, Nick would never have slept with Bridget if Brooke hadn't driven him to it. She wonders if this was meant to be.

Bridget and Dr. Caspary
Bridget is stunned by Dr. Caspary's news.
Before the sisters can discuss it further, Bridget gets a call from her OB/GYN, Dr. Caspary, who wants to talks abut the baby. It's nothing alarming, Dr. Caspary assures her. Bridget hesitates in answering, but Dr. Caspary says she'll be right there. Felicia asks what's wrong; Bridget is unsure, but she covers and tells Felicia that everything's fine. She says that she just needs to stop by Dr. Caspary's office for a minute. Felicia takes that as her cue to leave; before she goes, she tells Bridget that wanting to raise her child with its father doesn't make her a bad person. Bridget then heads for Dr. Caspary's office; she tells her doctor that she got a little worried, even though Dr. Caspary said it wasn't urgent, so she came by. Dr. Caspary explains that she's reviewed Bridget's test results, and the HCG levels indicate that Bridget is farther along than she thought and is closer to nine weeks pregnant. Bridget asks how that can be: she's been tracking her periods ever since she used a home pregnancy test in July, when she and her ex-boyfriend, Dante, were trying to have a baby. She's sure her last period was in August. Perhaps it was only light spotting, Dr. Caspary says, and not her actual period, since the tests show otherwise. But the home pregnancy test was negative, Bridget says. The doctor says that that can happen sometimes. But the HCG tests can also be wrong, too, Bridget points out. Dr. Caspary offers to do an ultrasound in the morning to be sure, but Bridget freaks out at the thought that Nick is telling her mother right now about a baby that might not be his! She tells the doctor that they have to do the ultrasound tonight!

Nick
Nick tells Brooke that he let her down.
On the Shady Marlin, Nick tells Brooke that he never wanted to disappoint her. He recalls the vows they renewed just days ago, before a man of God, and says that he meant every word of those vows. He believes in their marriage, which is why he hopes Brooke will understand after she hears what he has to say. He reminds her how patient he's been, because it seemed at the start of their marriage like he still share her with Ridge. She wound up in bed with Ridge; he thought Ridge violated her, but she asked him not to let that ruin their relationship when she forgave Ridge. Then there was the runway kiss, and then the nude ads. He felt humiliated, but they came through it stronger than ever. Brooke reminds him that she already apologized for that. Nick says that he knows that, which is why he told himself to be patient. But then she ran off after seeing Ridge on TV with her sister, and she would up kissing Ridge. Brooke admits that was a lapse of judgement that she regrets, because she didn't want to hurt him. Nick says that he didn't want to hurt her, either, but he had a lapse of judgement of his own. Brooke recalls that he was drinking and took off his ring that night. But there was more, Nick says, and that's why he needs her to forgive him. Brooke hopes he's just saying he went off to a strip club with Corky and Chuck; when Nick doesn't respond, Brooke angrily asks if he's saying he brought a woman back here! She tells him to assure her that it's not what she's thinking. Nick replies, "It's not what you're thinking. It's worse."

Brooke
Brooke is stunned by Nick's revelation.
Brooke asks what can be worse. Nick tells her that he let her down and he screwed up in the worst way. Brooke doesn't want to hear the details, but Nick says that he has to know why it happened. It happened because of her feelings for Ridge, Brooke points out, feelings she was always honest with Nick about. She wonders if Nick never trusted her. Nick says it was Ridge he didn't trust, since Brooke just couldn't stay away from Ridge. And that makes it OK to sleep with another woman? Brooke asks. Was he trying to get back at her? Nick says that he loves her, but he did something stupid, and he hates himself for hurting her. That's why she needs to know the rest. Brooke wonders what else there could be. She asks if he forgot to use protection and got a disease. Nick says that the woman he was with is... Brooke cuts him off and guesses that the woman he was with must be pregnant! She can't believe this and tells Nick to take her back home. She doesn't want to hear any more about this one night stand of his. Nick tells her that the woman he was with wasn't a stranger. It's someone Brooke knows, someone he has been intimate with.

Brooke is stunned, because the only woman she knows that Nick has been intimate with is Bridget (I guess she forgot about Felicia). But she knows Nick would never do that to her. She pleads with Nick to tell her that the woman he slept with wasn't Bridget, but Nick remains silent. Shocked, Brooke realizes the truth and cries out in anguish!
