Stephanie is at home, speaking with Dr. Ramirez about Felicia. He tells her that they completed the chemo. She asks how Felicia reacted. It's too soon to tell, the doctor advises. If he has any reason to think the treatment won't work, Stephanie doesn't want to drag this out. The doctor assures her that they're doing everything they can for Felicia. Stephanie hears Eric, so she tells Ramirez that she'll call him soon and hangs up.

Eric asks Stephanie to accept that Felicia is gone.
Eric comes in and finds Stephanie on the balcony. He tells her that he knows how she feels about a memorial service for Felicia, but he needs to say goodbye to his daughter. Stephanie says that's she's just so overwhelmed. Eric understands, which is why he's planned something at the house for tomorrow, just for family and friends. This upsets Stephanie. Eric reminds her that Felicia was his daughter, too. He tells Stephanie that they all need this, including her. She says that Felicia doesn't want them weeping and wailing. Doesn't? Eric asks. As in the present tense? He takes Stephanie by the shoulders and tells her that Felicia is gone. They need this time to heal. Stephanie says she understands. He asks if she'll be at the service, but she rolls her eyes. He knows that this is hard for her. The hardest thing she's ever had to do, she says. He tells her that he's proud of her. He then gives her a hug and steps away. Once he's gone, Stephanie dials up Dr. Ramirez and asks how Felicia is. The doctor regretfully informs her that Felicia's vitals are dropping. He thinks the chemo may have been too much for her. Stephanie asks him not to give up on her daughter. He says he'll call if there's any change.

On the Shady Marlin, Brooke and Nick are going at it. Brooke says it's feels so good. As they get into it, Nick asks, "six months?" Until the divorce is final, she confirms. She insisted that they wait. Nick stops kissing her for a moment and says that it's taking all his self control not to make love to her right now. Brooke knows, but she feels guilty just kissing him. Nick reminds her that Bridget was the one who asked for the divorce, so they could all move on. But what if Bridget can't sign the papers when the time comes? Brooke wonders. Nick tells her that Bridget left him a message to come sign the papers. But if Bridget's too torn up, Brooke suggests... Nick says that he'll wait until Bridget's ready. He and Brooke exchange, "I love you's" and he leaves.

Bridget assures Nick that she's ready to end their marriage.
Bridget is at the beach house with the box of Nick's things. She spots a photo album and starts to flip through it, getting teary when she sees a photo of her and Nick. Nick comes in, so Bridget puts down the album. Nick smiles and says that he got her message. The divorce papers are ready, she tells him, and she packed some of his things. He says that she didn't have to do that; she says she needed the closet space. She then asks if he spoke to her mom. He nods. Bridget guesses that he might be wondering if she really means this, so she wants him to know that she does. She doesn't want to stand in his way. She's not doing that, Nick says. He thinks she knows that he's always loved her. She asks him not to say that. But it's true, he responds. But there is also something between him and her mom, she says, and that hasn't changed. Nick says this doesn't feel right. They shared a lot of wonderful memories, he muses, and he brought her a lot of joy. She starts to cry. Nick asks her to be really honest with him now; he wants to know if she's sure she wants this divorce.

Nick looks at Bridget before signing the divorce papers.
In a perfect world, Bridget says, she wouldn't want their marriage to be over. But she thinks they both know that it has to be. She doesn't want Nick to feel sorry for her, since she has Dominick, who needs her as much as she needs him. So her heart is full and she's ready to move on. She takes the divorce agreement from an envelope and tells them that she looked them it. Everything is in order, so it just needs them to sign. But before she does, she wants him to know that if he had never met her mother, she would fight for him and never let him go. She then signs the paper. Nick steps over to the counter and looks at her before he signs the paper, too. He then goes over to her. She says she's fine. She then tells him not to forget his boxes. Nick somberly picks up the boxes and leaves. Bridget sits on the couch and cries; through the window, we see Nick watches her one last time.

Ridge tells RJ that daddy's home.
Brooke comes home and finds Ridge playing with RJ. She asks Ridge why he's there. He tells her that he just told their son that daddy's home. As Brooke looks at him, he tells her that this isn't over, not by a longshot. Brooke sighs. After putting RJ down, she rejoins Ridge, who asks if RJ's asleep. Brooke says that he has a way of wearing their son out. She then sees some suitcases and asks Ridge what those are for. He thinks it should be obvious: he's moving in! Brooke frets that he didn't hear her last night, but he says that he did. But he didn't listen, she guesses. Seeing her reaction, Ridge offers to move into the guest house. Not a chance, Brooke says. He guesses that she hasn't forgiven him. She can't believe he decided to move in without even talking with her. He says that he has to move on with his life. "What about what I want?" she asks. Ridge asks if she feels like he's bulldozing into her life. She says that she does. He reminds her that they would be married right now if it wasn't for Nick. No, she says, it was HER choice. She tells him that she talked earlier with Bridget, who still loves Nick, but can't be married to a man who loves someone else. That's why she's divorcing Nick. She should divorce Nick, Ridge says, since they never should have gotten married. Everyone makes mistakes, Brooke says. And they can learn from them, Ridge says; God knows he has. Brooke says she's sorry. She doesn't want to hurt him. Then don't, Ridge replies.

Brooke tells Ridge that he's not hearing her.
Brooke tells Ridge that he has to hear this: she's in love with Nick. It wasn't an easy decision, she states. Ridge asks what happened to her since last night. She replies that she did a lot of thinking. He says that Nick ruined Bridget's life. That's his view of this, she says. And how should he view it? he asks. She knows this isn't what he wants to hear, but Nick and Bridget's divorce will be final in six months. It's not what she wanted, either. She reminds Ridge how they were married and had the life he dreamed of, until he just tossed it away. So if he wants be angry at someone, he should be angry with himself. If she wants to punish him for picking Taylor over her, Ridge says, then go ahead. He can take it. Brooke says that's not what she's doing, but Ridge feels like the hell he's in is penance for every bad thing he's done to her. Brooke says that he's not listening, to her. No, he says, he's not; he then grabs her and kisses her! Brooke tries to pull away but then softens a bit. She says that she'll probably never stop loving him. Then why won't she let him in? he asks, reminding her that he's fighting not just for her, but for their family. She asks him to respect her decision, but he won't let "that bastard" raise his son! Brooke asks him to go. Ridge then recalls what she just said: there are six months until Nick's divorce is final. But nothing will change, Brooke says, heading for the stairs. Ridge turns to the door; he then says, "I'm not losing you, Logan, not ever" and leaves.

Soon after, Brooke answers her door and finds Nick there. He asks if he can come in. Of course, she says. Seeing how upset he looks, she asks him what happened. He hugs her and tells her that he and Bridget signed the divorce papers. Is Bridget OK? she asks. It was pretty rough, he replies. But is Bridget OK? she asks. He nods, holding her, and tells her that everything will be OK as long as they have "this." Brooke smiles as Nick tells her again that it's going to be OK.

Outside, Ridge stands by the patio, arms crossed and looking determined as he looks inside and watches Brooke and Nick together.
