Hector worries about Taylor's drowning her sorrows.
Hector arrives at Chuck's bar and spots Taylor sitting alone with a glass of wine. He approaches and asks what she's doing here. Waiting for him, she says. He sits down and says that this isn't what he pictured when she she said she wanted to meet at the marina. She says that she couldn't exactly go someplace like Cafe Russe, where she'd face pitied looks from people she knows. Hector asks if she's drowning her sorrows over Ridge and Brooke's wedding. Actually, she says, she's toasting her dearly departed sister-in-law Felicia. Hector says he's sorry. Taylor raises her glass and sadly says that Stephanie called to tell her that Felicia died tonight. And was she there, supporting her family, helping her husband grieve, or supporting her mother-in-law? No, she says, finishing her wine. Hector offers to take her home, but she doesn't want to go. She won't be alone, he promises, since he'll be there. Taylor says that it's Ridge who needs consoling right now, not her, after losing a sister he was so close to. Wouldn't Brooke understand? Hector asks. Taylor says that Ridge won't talk to Brooke. But they are married, Hector says. No they're not, Taylor says, since Nick stopped the wedding.

Taylor says that she needs a refill, and her husband back.
Taylor tells Hector how Nick barged in and grabbed Brooke off the altar. Hector can't believe it and asks what's wrong with Nick. Obviously he still loves Brooke, Taylor replies, and maybe he couldn't hide it anymore. But Brooke was marrying Nick's brother, Hector says, so it's late in the game for that. Maybe not, Taylor says. She suggests that Brooke might be having second thoughts about marrying Ridge if Nick's marriage to Bridget is over. Hector tells her that it sounds like she's having second thoughts and is thinking about reconciling with Ridge. He thinks she has too much self-respect to do that after the way Ridge treated her and guesses that it's the alcohol talking. He urges her to put Ridge behind her, but she doesn't know how to get over a man she's spent half her life with. She calls for the bartender to refill her glass, but Hector waves the barkeep off and tells Taylor that she doesn't need that. What she needs, she says, is her husband, and if she can get him back... At what cost? Hector asks. She says that Ridge is the love of her life. But is she the love of Ridge's? he asks. He thinks she's had a really bad day, with the wedding and with Felicia dying, so she just needs a chance to regroup. She needs to talk to Ridge, she says. Hector thinks she has too much pride for that. But what good is pride if you're unhappy and alone? she asks. Hector says that Ridge didn't make her happy, but she disagrees. She doesn't care about self-respect or pride. She just wants her life with her husband back.

Massimo tells Ridge to go home to Brooke.
Massimo enters the dark Forrester guest house and finds Ridge alone, lamenting the loss of his baby sister. Ridge tells Mass how he danced with Felicia at Eric and Stephanie's wedding. He knew that might be the last time he held her in his arms. He then tells Mass how Felicia wanted to be toasted, and how she was the life of the party right to the end. Massimo offers to have his driver take Ridge home to Brooke. He sees Ridge is grieving and thinks Ridge should be with his son, and with his son's mother, because Brooke loves him very much and will be there if he needs her. She always has, Ridge says. So, what are they waiting for? Mass asks, leading Ridge out.
Nick calls Brooke at home. She asks how Felicia is. She's gone, Nick tells her. Brooke guesses that the family is devastated. They are, Nick confirms, saying that Stephanie is a wreck. Brooke comments that Stephanie just started spending time with Felicia. Better late than never, Nick says. It made him think about how short life is, and how you can't waste a minute of it, especially his time with her. He has so much to say to her. Brooke says she has a lot to say to him, too. He's at the Marlin if she wants to come over, he says. She doesn't think it's a good night. Nick says that he wants to see her. She says that she wants... she NEEDS to see him, too. But tonight, she thinks Bridget will need her more. She worries that Bridget might be too upset over Felicia's death to care for Dominick, and if Bridget came over and found him with here... It's what Bridget wants, Nick says. Brooke says that she knows, but she still thinks Bridget needs her full attention tonight. She hears a car pull up and thinks it might be Bridget, so she says she has to go. They exchange "I love you's." Nick then says that he just has to know one thing, but Brooke has already hung up.

Brooke tries to comfort Ridge.
Ridge enters Brooke's house and makes his way upstairs to the bedroom door. Brooke opens it and sees him standing there, saying that Felicia died. She says that she knows and she's sorry, and she hugs him. Felicia was so brave, Ridge laments, pulling them together, or caring for her baby boy. He thinks it was hardest on his mother, who kept begging Felicia to fight to the end. Like any mother would, Brooke says. Ridge recalls the final toasts to Felicia, and her holding Dominick in her arms. She asks what she can do? Just being here with her makes him feel better, better, he says. They share a few short kisses before he goes to take a shower. Soon after, Ridge comes out of the shower, clad in only a towel. He sits down on Brooke's bed. She sits beside him and asks if he feels better. he just shrugs. She puts her hand on his shoulder and thinks it might help to talk about it. He tells her that he keeps asking himself if there was something more he could have done. Brooke assures him that he did everything he could. But was he a good brother to Felicia? he asks, walking away. And did she know how much he loved her?

Ridge wants Brooke to make love to him.
Brooke approaches Ridge and tells him that Felicia adored him, his starry eyed sister following him around. She was always there, he recalls. She loved him, Brooke says, touching his chest, so she'll always be in his heart. Brooke tells him that she knows it's painful, but Felicia is in a better place. And she [Brooke] is there for him. Ridge strokes her hair and tells her how much he really needs her. They start to kiss, but Brooke hesitates. She thinks they're both exhausted, and it's been an emotional day. They should have been together, Ridge says. She knows he's confused, because he expected an answer. Sitting on the bed, he says that he's with her. She guesses that he has questions about Nick, but he doesn't want to talk about that tonight. They can talk about Nick tomorrow. Tonight, he just wants to lose himself in her. He strokes her hair and kisses her, and he unties her belt, telling her how much he wants to put this day behind him. He just wants to be with her and love her, he says. She says she loves him, too. She hates seeing him in such pain. Ridge lays back on the pillows, holding out his arms for Brooke to come to him.

Nick insists to his pop that Brooke isn't going to marry Ridge.
Downstairs, Massimo paces around as Nick arrives. Nick asks his pop what he's doing here. Mass says he brought Ridge home, where he's supposed to be - unlike Nick. Nick wants to talk to Brooke. Not tonight, Mass says, pointing out that Ridge lost his sister and needs his wife. She's not his wife, Nick says. But she will be, Mass insists. Nick disagrees. Mass orders him to leave Ridge alone! Nick looks upstairs and asks if Ridge is up there with Brooke. Mass assumes they are in the bedroom, and he points out that they have been there for quite a while. Nick moves to go up, but Mass stops him. He points out that Nick has already disrupted their wedding and asks if Nick now intends to disrupt their honeymoon, too? Nick says that he and Brooke love each other. But she almost married Ridge today, Mass reminds him. She didn't, Nick says, and she's not going to. If Brooke is so committed to him [Nick], Mass asks, then why is she still upstairs? Nick tries to get past Massimo, who grabs him by the arm and tells him not to go up there. Man-to-man, Nick asks his pop to let him do what he has to. he bolts up the stairs as Massimo shakes his head.
Upstairs, Brooke tells Ridge that this isn't going to take away his pain. It'll help, he says. For a little while, maybe, she says. Right now, he says, that's all he wants. He calls her Logan as her robe slips off her shoulder a bit. he pulls her close to him... just as Nick opens the door and is stunned to see Ridge and Brooke on the bed!
