In Brooke's living room, Jackie turns to leave, but Ridge stops her and demands that she tell him where Brooke is. Jackie pulls away, but Ridge wants to know where his wife is. Brooke is not his wife, Jackie states. Where is she?! Ridge shouts. Walking back in, Jackie says that Brooke went out. Ridge asks what "out" means, since this is their wedding night. Obviously it isn't, Jackie retorts. It would have been if "Popeye" hadn't interfered, Ridge says. Jackie says that Nicky did what he had to do, but Ridge thinks that "Nicky" is delusional, and so is Jackie if she thinks her son ever had a chance with Brooke. Jackie says that Nick has proved his love for Brooke by being there for her when Ridge wasn't. "Because I had another family I couldn't turn my back on," Ridge answers. Jackie says he's just making excuses. He deserted Brooke, she points out. And Nick was happy to step in, Ridge replies, even though he was involved with Brooke's daughter. He thinks Jackie should be consoling her "loser son" because "Brooke chose me." Jackie responds that he and Brooke aren't officially married. That doesn't change the fact that Brooke chose him, Ridge retorts, telling Jackie that they were in bed tonight! And now, Brooke mysteriously disappears. He bets that Jackie is in cahoots with Nick, even though he's sure Jackie will deny it. But if "Captain Bligh" intends to kidnap Brooke to the high seas, Ridge promises to personally organize the "mutiny" on Nick's "bounty."

Jackie tells Ridge that he misinterpreted Brooke's actions.
Jackie tells Ridge that he's overreacting, and Brooke is fine. Ridge tells her to stop playing games and tell him where Brooke is. Jackie says she's not playing games, and neither was Nick when he was there earlier and saw Ridge in the bedroom with Brooke. "So he got an eyeful, huh? Good. Maybe he'll finally get it through his thick skull that Brooke loves me," Ridge taunts. Jackie informs him that Brooke came down and was horrified when she realized what Nick had seen. Brooke told her that Nick had misinterpreted. Brooke made a decision tonight, Ridge says. Yes, she did, Jackie agrees, and that's why Brooke is with Nick, the man she wants to spend her life with, now. She fears that Ridge is the one who misinterpreted. She's sorry that Ridge just lost his sister, because Felicia was a gutsy woman who didn't deserve to die so young. But Brooke assured her that she was just comforting Ridge, which is why she raced out to explain to Nick. Ridge smugly tells her that she's as crazy as her son is. Brooke was going to make love to him tonight, he states, so he didn't misinterpret anything. But she did if she thinks she can make him doubt that Brooke wants to be with him. If Brooke went to Nick, he says, it was only to let him down easy, and he's sure that all the wishful thinking Jackie and Nick can do won't keep Brooke from coming back to him tonight.

Brooke is stunned to find Nick and Taylor in his bed.
On the Shady Marlin, Brooke can't believe that she found Nick and Taylor in his bed, about to... Getting up from the bed, Nick and Taylor both tell her she's wrong. Nick stumbles, using Brooke to pull himself up. Brooke realizes that they are both drunk and asks Nick if that's an excuse to do what he wants. And what's her excuse? Nick asks, wondering how this is wrong when he caught her in bed with Forrester. She says that Ridge came to her for comfort after losing Felicia, and she gave it to him. Did she ever, Nick quips, walking away. Brooke says she was comforting him. Did they have sex? Nick asks. Brooke tells him that she wouldn't do that, because of her feelings for him. Then she shouldn't have been in bed with him, Nick says. And what about this? Brooke asks, looking at Taylor. She doesn't want to talk about this now and turns to leave, but Nick stops her and says that they'll talk about this now. He says this has nothing to do with Taylor. That woman was in his bed, Brooke points out. And Forrester was in hers, Nick responds, but she said he misinterpreted that. He thinks the same goes here. He tells her that he came over to her house to tell her that he loves her, and to ask her if they would have a life together. Then he opened that door and got his answer. So he ran straight to his brother's ex-wife? she asks, stating that she would have told him had she chosen Ridge. Nick says that he saw what he saw. Brooke knows what he saw. And is that why she came here tonight? he asks. He looks her in the eye and asks, "Why are you here, Brooke?"
As Nick waits for an answer, Brooke asks if he kissed Taylor. He says no. Did Taylor kiss him? she asks. He hesitates and says that he's not sure, turning to Taylor and asking if she did. Taylor says no. Then what was it? Brooke asks Taylor. She wonders if Taylor figured that her halo was so tarnished from being caught in so many compromising positions lately that any man was fair game. Or was Taylor so angry with Ridge that she decided to stick it to him? Taylor tells her to grow up. Nick steps in and says that they had too much to drink and were comforting each other; he thinks Brooke knows how that is. Brooke tells him to step! Even if he would have put the brakes on, she can't believe he would do this. She turns to leave, but Taylor stops her and says that she's the one who's leaving. She promises Brooke that she didn't come here to make trouble for Brooke and Nick, which is why she's hoping Brooke will think about her [Taylor's] kids and not say anything to anybody tonight. She looks at Brooke and begs her not to please not say anything to Ridge. Taylor then turns and leaves.

Bridget and Dante think Stephanie can use some time with Dominick.
Stephanie comes home and finds Bridget there, saying they were starting to worry. Stephanie says she had things to take care of and asks where Eric is. Bridget says he's upstairs calling Kristen about Felicia. Stephanie wishes he hadn't done that and asks where Dominick is. Dante comes in and hands the baby to his grandma and says that he's sorry. Stephanie says there's nothing to be sorry for and tells the baby how much he reminds her of his mother. Dante guesses Stephanie feels like Dominick is all she has left of Felicia, is with them every way that counts. She tells the baby that he is (IS? as in present tense?) his mother's pride and joy. And his father's too, Dante adds, hoping Felicia knew that. Stephanie tells Dante that he's a sweet and decent man, but there are some things that only a mother can give a child. At least the baby has Bridget, Dante says, assuring Stephanie that his son will always be a Forrester, if that's what she's concerned about. Stephanie thanks him and tells him that's reassuring. Bridget tells Stephanie that she doesn't think that's what she was getting at and wonders if there is something else going on. She wonders if Felicia asked Stephanie to do something.
Stephanie thinks of the few times Felicia asked her to do something.
Stephanie pauses and says that she could count the things Felicia asked her to do on one hand, and most of those involved staying out of her life. Bridget thinks that sounds like Felicia, who lived life on her own terms, but most importantly, she knew that Stephanie loved her and would have done anything to save her. Stephanie looks to a picture of Ridge and Taylor. Bridget suggests that Stephanie spend time with Taylor and offers to call Taylor over, but Stephanie thinks she'll go to Taylor's instead. She hands Dominick to Dante, kisses Bridget on the cheek and leaves. Dante tells Bridget that Dominick has had a long day. Bridget suggests he take the baby home and put him to bed. Dante asks if Bridget minds that Dominick is spending the night with him and invites her to join them. Bridget says no, they'll both be fine, but she asks him to call if anything happens. Dante tells her that he still hopes that one day they'll be raising the child together, like his mother wanted. He leans over and kisses Bridget on the cheek.

Taylor hopes Stephanie won't hate her.
A cabbie brings Taylor home and helps her to the door. She starts looking for money, but he tells her that Chuck took care of it. He then hands her back her keys, which Chuck said to give her. She thanks him and he leaves. She then goes inside, leaving the door ajar, and walks unsteadily toward her couch without turning on any lights. She sinks into the corner of the couch. Stephanie sees the door is ajar and comes in, calling first for Taylor, then Thomas. When she doesn't get an answer, she turns on a lamp and sees Taylor on the couch, slumped over with her face resting on an arm of the couch. Worried, Stephanie approaches and asks Taylor if she's OK. She sits Taylor up, and Taylor then mumbles, "You don't understand." Stephanie immediately smells the liquor on Taylor's breath, and realizes Taylor had too much to drink. Taylor asks Stephanie not to hate her. Stephanie asks why she would hate her and asks if she's all right. Did something happen? she inquires, but Taylor doesn't answer yet.

Nick asks Brooke for a decision.
Back on the Marlin, Brooke and Nick are silent. Nick then tells her how he went to Chuck's to get drunk. He didn't know Taylor was there until she came over. And Taylor was in such pain that instead of commiserating over drinks, they both came here? Brooke asks. She doesn't get it. Nick is divorcing her daughter and then stopping her wedding, claiming he wants to spend his life with her. And then she finds him here drunk, with Taylor, in his bed? Nick guesses they've both been to bed. Brooke tells him that she never thought he would let her down. But tonight, even though he promised he never would, he did. She trusted him, even above Ridge, and then... Just then, she gets a call on her cell. She sees on the display that it's Ridge. Nick hears that, says this isn't happening and takes her phone, tossing it across the room. He then tells Brooke that she has no place throwing stones either. She thinks they have two choices. They can let what happened tonight tear them apart, or they suck it up and start a life together. He asks which it's going to be as Brooke considers her answer.
