Bridget tries to make peace with Dante.
Dante wakes up in his studio, flashing back to his kiss with Felicia last night. Bridget comes in and brings him croissants, as an olive branch after their argument last night. Dante says he's not hungry. Bridget guesses that he's still upset with her. She told him that she didn't want to have a baby with him, he reminds her. Not yet, she qualifies. She knows apologies and pastries won't fix their problems, but she hopes they can work this out. She doesn't blame him for being angry, since she agreed to start a family with him. She thought it was a wonderful idea, Dante recalls. And she thought it would be, she says, but she just felt relieved when the test came back negative, and she wanted to be honest with him. Dante says that he's disappointed; Bridget suggests that he take some time to think, but he asks how long he's supposed to wait. He reminds Bridget that he left her sister at the altar because he couldn't live without her, so if that's not how he feels. He stops himself and says that he has to get to the press conference, so he leaves Bridget alone in the studio with her thoughts.

Eric worries about the fate of the Bedroom line.
In Thorne's office, Brooke and Eric discuss the press conference, where she plans to announce her decision to step down as spokesperson for Brooke's Bedroom and have Donna replace her. Eric asks if she plans to make the announcement about Ridge, too. What about Ridge? she asks. Eric responds that Ridge told Stephanie last night that he wouldn't be designing for the Bedroom line anymore. Brooke says she has to find Ridge, but Eric assures her that Ridge has made up his mind. Brooke thinks Ridge is just hurting, because this was their line. She knows designing for Donna will be different, but she can't let Ridge back out this way. She goes to find him, while Eric heads down the showroom. He goes backstage and asks Stephanie and Felicia how it's going. They're all set, Stephanie replies. Felicia notes that her dad doesn't sound very enthusiastic. That's because he isn't, Eric answers; no offense to Donna, but Ridge and Brooke WERE the Bedroom line, so losing them both could be devastating. If Brooke can't convince Ridge to stay, he fears the line might be history.

Donna and Ridge give Brooke good news.
In the showroom, Donna looks at the Brooke's Bedroom logo and thinks back to her talk and kiss with Ridge last night. Ridge comes in and guesses that she's excited about her debut. Yes and no, she responds, so he tells her to relax and remember what they talked about last night. Donna says she's glad they talked last night. Ridge says he is, too, since that convinced him to keep designing for the line. He's sure they'll make a great team. Donna hopes she didn't come across too strong with the things she said last night. Ridge assures her that it was just what he needed. Just then, Brooke rushes in and tells Ridge that he can't just stop designing for the Bedroom line. She can understand why he'd want to stop, because the line was their baby, but she needs time to find a new designer, and... Ridge tells her to relax, since he'll be designing for Brooke's Bedroom for as long as she needs him. Brooke is relieved, because she thinks they need his talent more than ever. She then tells him about her decision to name Donna as the new spokesperson for Brooke's Bedroom. Ridge explains that Donna already told him last night, and that's why he's still designing the line. Donna hopes she wasn't supposed to keep it secret. Of course not, Brooke says, grateful to her little sister for whatever she said that changed Ridge's mind. Donna says she should be thanking Ridge and Brooke for this opportunity and promises not to let them down. Now they just have to sell it to the press, Brooke says. Ridge doesn't think that will be a problem.

Stephanie gives her opinion of Donna.
Later, Stephanie finds Donna having her make-up done and asks the younger Logan sister to step down as model for the Bedroom line. She thinks Donna is beautiful, but she just doesn't have the experience they need for this job. Ridge comes over and assures his mother that Donna has a bright future here. Stephanie asks how he'd know that, since he won't be designing the line anymore. Ridge tells her that he changed his mind. He stepped down because he feared he'd produce substandard work without Brooke to inspire him, but he doesn't think that will be an issue anymore. Brooke and Eric come over, and Brooke has something to say before they greet the press. Donna hopes it's a pep talk, but Ridge tells her to relax and enjoy the ride. Brooke just wants to remind them how much this line means to her. In that regard, she feels like she's leaving it in good hands, so she has qualms about stepping down as spokesmodel for the line. She'll be working from Marone Industries now, but her heart will be here with them. In that case, Stephanie quips, Brooke can return the stock and make a clean break. Brooke says that won't happen, since Forrester Creations is her home, and now it will be her sister's home as well.

The members of the press wonder what's happening at Forrester.
In the showroom, smarmy reporter Jarrett arrives with two other reporters, Danica and Sophie. They hope this is the right place, since the Forresters haven't been making a lot of noise about this "big news." Jarrett assures the ladies that if Brooke says this is big, it will be. Dante comes in and Felicia joins him; she senses he's wary of the reporters and asks if he wants to go someplace else to talk. Dante agrees, but as they walk away, Stephanie stops them and asks if Dante's here to watch the train wreck. Felicia is glad to see her mother so positive. Stephanie wants to talk to her daughter alone and pulls Felicia aside, while Dante talks with Jarrett. Stephanie asks Felicia what's up with Dante. He's just going through something, Felicia replies. "He's sleeping with your sister," Stephanie reminds Felicia, who asks when that stopped anyone in this family. Stephanie hopes Felicia is not being obsessive like she usually is. Felicia assures Stephanie she's fine and walks away.
Brooke comes out and greets everyone. Danica asks Brooke where the others are. Brooke replies that she didn't want a lot of fanfare due to the recent tragedy in the family, so she's giving those here an exclusive with her news that she's stepping down as spokesmodel for Brooke's Bedroom. The reporters are stunned. Jarrett asks why she is doing that when the Bedroom line is so profitable. Brooke explains that with the line so profitable, she needs to focus on her duties as CEO, so she's turning the modeling over to a beautiful woman who can do justice to Ridge's designs: her sister, Donna. Ridge and Donna join Brooke on stage as Jarrett asks about Donna's qualifications. Brooke explains that her sister, a former waitress, is part of their target market. Danica asks how Donna got the job; Donna isn't sure how to answer, so Ridge steps in and says that what's important is WHY Donna has her sister's old job. He explains that their spokesperson has to not only wear his designs, but she has to embody the vision that Brooke conceived. He's confident Donna can do that. Danica asks Donna how it feels to slip into her sister's shoes - or her sister's SHEETS, Jarrett quips. Donna answers that Ridge told her to enjoy the ride. Jarrett asks Ridge about his outlook on losing Brooke. Ridge says that Brooke is still with them, but Jarrett points out that Brooke is no longer Ridge's muse. Ridge says he is inspired by beautiful women like Donna. Sophie asks if the "Brooke's Bedroom, or nothing at all" slogan still applies. Ridge suggests a new slogan: "Forrester has a new Logan: Donna Logan." The reporters like it, but Brooke isn't thrilled.

Felicia tells Dante not to wait for his happiness.
When the reporters leave, Felicia catches Dante alone and asks what happened when he went home last night. He tells her that he stayed in his studio last night. Felicia says she would have stayed had she known, but Dante says he is working things out with Bridget. If he really was, Felicia comments, he would have gone home. Dante says he needed time, but she thinks he didn't want to go home reeking of guilt. Dante says he has no reason to feel guilty. Exactly, Felicia says, noting that Bridget is the one who should feel guilty for playing with his emotions. She points out that Bridget knows he wants to start a family, but now she's saying she doesn't want children. For now, Dante qualifies. Felicia points out that Bridget has been putting him off since they met, and that's no way to live. Happiness should never wait until tomorrow, she states.

Brooke is upset that Ridge has so easily replaced her.
Donna and Ridge go to Thorne's office, where Donna frets that she was terrible in facing the press. Ridge assures her that she did fine, but she points out that Brooke was still talking to the reporters when they left. Ridge tells her she'll get used to dealing with the media. For now, he wants her to remember to always be honest with herself and she'll knock them dead. He gives her some new designs and tells her to go put them on. While she's gone, Brooke bursts in, upset at Ridge's slogan about his having a "New Logan." He assures her that he was talking about the line, but Brooke frets that he's replacing her so easily. She asks if this is his way of getting back at her. He thinks he'd be justified if it were. He reminds her that it was her decision to not model for the Bedroom line, and to be away from him. He did everything he could think of to convince her not to give up on them, but she married Nick anyway, so he's just trying to make the best of it. Brooke asks if he realizes how hard it was for her to give up the Bedroom line; he asks if she knows how hard it was for him to go on without her. He didn't think he could design lingerie for anyone else, but Donna convinced him otherwise. He kept going with the line not to hurt her, but because he loves the work. Brooke says she loves it, too. Ridge feels like he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, so he asks Brooke what she wants from him. Before she can answer, Donna enters and asks Brooke if she's ready for her.
