Stephanie explains why she agreed to remarry Eric.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric asks Stephanie if they just agreed to remarry for their daughter. Stephanie says that she couldn't say no to Felicia. Eric realizes that Felicia wants something to hold onto in her final days, so as ridiculous as it sounds, he agrees to have a ceremony and put on a show for his dying daughter. Stephanie says that she thought Christmas was the show. Eric reminds her that Felicia is hell bent on seeing them remarry. Not that they'd fall in love again, they both agree. Eric starts to think that they should call this off, but Stephanie reminds him that they're doing this for Felicia, so he agrees to go forward. However, since he has no intention of staying married, he wants to make sure that they agree in advance to divorce. Stephanie thinks he knows just who to call for that: Jonathan, the King of the Shady Divorce. Eric then asks her if she really meant what she said about ending her war with Brooke, since that's something that will pull this family together. She says she means it; he's glad to hear that, for all their sakes. He then gets a call on his cell phone from Jackie, who asks if they're still on for lunch. Eric says he wants to see her, but he's running a bit late, so he'll pick up some Chinese food on the way to her place. As he ends the call, Stephanie laughs at the fact that they're right here, freshly engaged, and he's already got a date with another woman. She guesses that some things never change.

Eric tells Jackie that he wants to be with her.
Eric arrives at Jackie's and apologizes for being late, but he makes it up to her with a kiss. They then start to eat. Eric assures her that he wants to spend time with her, but... She says that she understands that he needs to spend time with Felicia right now. Even though they haven't spend much time together, she knows he wants to be with her, and she wants to be with him, too. Eric says that there's something he needs to do before they can be together. Jackie raises an eyebrow, as the last time he said that, he went off and married Brooke. She hopes he's not doing that again. No, he says. Relieved, Jackie asks what this thing he has to do is. He has to marry Stephanie! he says.

Jackie is stunned by Eric's surprise.
A stunned Jackie breaks her chopstick and asks if she heard him right! Eric explains that Felicia wants him and Stephanie to remarry, to bring the family together. Still, he wasn't even going to consider it until Stephanie told him that her battle with Brooke was over. Jackie is even more stunned. Eric reminds her that Felicia wants to go out as the life of the party. And what a party it will be, Jackie guesses, with Felicia's parents remarried. Eric explains that this will be an act for Felicia's sake. Once she's gone, the marriage will be annulled. Nearly in tears, Jackie is still worried, until she sees a jewelry box in Eric's hand. He tells her to open it; she does and finds an engagement ring inside. Eric says that he wants her to be his wife once this thing with Felicia is over. Smiling, Jackie slides the ring on her finger and says "Yes!" They then hug and kiss.

Felicia comes clean with her big brother.
Ridge drops by the Forrester guest house to catch up with Felicia. He can't believe she has a baby, since he didn't think she could get pregnant. Neither did she, she says. He's just glad she's OK. She is, she says, since Bridget agreed to raise her child. He asks what Bridget has to do with this. She tells him that her son is named Dominick. Is she saying that Nick is the father? Ridge asks. There's more, she says; she signed a "short-term contact," which is why Bridget agreed to raise her son. Ridge asks what that means. It means that she's dying, Felicia replies. Ridge can't believe it and says there has to be some treatment. She explains that she declined all the treatments. She's in God's hands now, even though she never thought she'd say that. She's trying not to be afraid, and she could use her big brother's help with that. She stopped her chemo for her son to be born, but it was worth it, since that baby made her life worth living. She's just sorry she'll soon have to say goodbye. Then don't, Ridge says. She says that she'll have to - and he has to let her. She has no regrets. They hug. She then tells him that something positive came out of this. It's like she has these magic powers that she's used to pull their family back together. Even their parents have been affected, since they agreed to her final wish that they remarry. She knows they think they're doing it for her, but she knows what's between them, and she thinks this time it might even stick. She's really something, Ridge says. Felicia has one favor to ask of him; she knows how he feels about Nick, but she wants Ridge to love her son the same way he loved her. He says he will and hugs her again.

Nick urges Brooke not to reunite with Ridge.
Brooke comes downstairs and finds Nick in her living room. He says that she didn't call after Ridge left like she said she would, so he wants to know what happened. Brooke tells him that Ridge tried to sweep her off her feet and proposed. And what did she say? Nick asks. She says that Ridge apologized for walking out on her and the kids. But he still walked out, Nick says, asking why she can't see that Ridge is incapable of commitment. He promised to protect her from Stephanie and anyone else, Brooke says, since his feelings were no longer divided, and he assured her that he wants to raise RJ and Hope with her. Nick says that's just what he predicted Ridge would say, but he wants to know how she responded. She told Ridge that they couldn't be together, she replies, since it just wasn't the same anymore. Nick asks if she was tempted. She says that part of her will always be vulnerable to Ridge. Nick says that she has to fix that, because Ridge is all about words, without the actions to back his words up. He knows that she'll need a man some day, and he wants to help her with that. She reminds him that he has his own family. And he'll be there for Bridget, he vows, but he'll be there for her, too. He knows they'll never be husband and wife, but they'll always be part of each other's lives. Brooke asks how they can be when he has to focus on Bridget and their children. He says he will, and he knows that she will find someone else. But it can't be Forrester!

Ridge wants to know what's going on with Nick and Brooke.
Brooke says she doesn't want or need a man. She turns away, but Nick grabs her arm and asks her to listen. Just then, Ridge comes to the front door and hears Nick tell Brooke that things will work out for her, but Ridge isn't the answer. And what have they here? Ridge asks as he enters the room. He reminds Nick that he has a baby with Felicia and another one on the way with Bridget, so why isn't he with them? Nick says that he wants to talk to Brooke first. Ridge says that it would be one thing if Nick and Brooke were involved while he was with Taylor, but Nick is married to Bridget now. He thinks that if Nick had any decency, he'd stay away from Brooke! Nick says that he's not being disloyal to Bridget. Unlike Ridge, he knows how to make a commitment. And he's committing in Brooke's arms? Ridge asks. Nick says he's just offering a friend advice. "To stay away from me?" Ridge asks. That's right, Nick says, because Ridge has done nothing but hurt Brooke. He warns Ridge to stay away from her. Ridge asks if Nick is Brooke's protector now; Nick says that he is, which is why he wants Ridge to leave. He shoves Ridge! Brooke tells them to stop. Ridge says that if Nick wants a fight, he'll give him one. He wants Nick to stay away from Brooke and her kids. Brooke tells Ridge that he's not listening, as he's the one who should leave. So Nick is Brooke's friend and advisor, Ridge observes. That's right, Brooke says. Ridge however doesn't buy it, as there's something more than friendship here, and it stinks to bloody hell! Ridge then says he has two sisters depending on Nick for their children, but Nick is here with Brooke. Ridge thinks that has to stop - and if Nick doesn't stop it, he will! "What do you think about that, little brother?" Ridge asks Nick as they glare at each other.
