Taylor tells Hector that it was wrong for her to remarry Ridge.
|
Hector finds Taylor at the Forrester offices, packing up. She admits that working there would be a mistake because Ridge is there. Hector says that he's sorry that her marriage is over, but Taylor thinks it was inevitable. In fact, looking back, she knows now that coming back to Ridge was wrong. Even though she and Ridge had some good times being married and raising their kids, she explains, she has to be honest with herself and admit that Ridge only married her again to please his mother.

Taylor flashes back to when Ridge first proposed in St. Thomas.
|
Taylor then flashes back to her time with Ridge in St. Thomas, where he proposed to her the first time. She recalls how he led her on a treasure hunt on the beach, where he had buried an engagement ring in a box in the sand. Coming back to reality, she tells Hector how she went all the way to St. Thomas to put some distance between her and the craziness that came from being with Ridge. But even then, a little voice in the back of her head told her that she shouldn't marry Ridge, because they weren't right for each other. So she tried to stay away? Hector asks. She said that she did, but Ridge followed her and took her to a private island, like something out of a romance novel. He asks if she's that same woman from St. Thomas, pointing out that her marriage to Ridge would never have lasted if there wasn't something between them. They did have a connection, she says, but things were different when she came back. She sees now that Ridge only chose her after her return because of Stephanie. She also sees that Ridge loves Brooke, and she has to admit that she's jealous that Ridge couldn't love her the way he does Brooke. If she needs a man who understands her and loves her conditionally, Hector says, she's looking right at him.

Felicia smiles. Bringing Judge Bolan back into the room, they start the ceremony. In his vows, Eric admits he was reluctant to come here tonight to remarry Stephanie, but now that he's here, with all his family, he sees how much he wants to be with them.

Stephanie offers the family's strength to Felicia.
|
Stephanie talks about how Felicia feels they are stronger together than apart; she vows to lend that strength to Felicia to help her through the short time they have left. The judge asks for the rings. Felicia says that she has them, as she found them on the dressing table. She jokes that her dad must have left them there by mistakes. Eric takes the rings from her and thanks her. He then rejoins Stephanie. They each take the rings and put them on their own fingers, and the judge pronounces them husband and wife. Eric kisses Stephanie on the forehead, and lightly on the lips, as a smiling Felicia looks on.

Ridge tells Kristen that he hurt Taylor.
|
Ridge steps out on the terrace. Kristen follows him out and asks if the wedding tonight reminded that his own marriage to Taylor is now over. He says that this is Felicia's night and he didn't want to bring her down, so he just came outside for some air. Kristen offers to leave, but Ridge tells her to stay. He tells her that when Taylor returned, he had already moved on with Brooke. He tried to pick up with Taylor, but it was wrong. Right or wrong, Kristen says, it couldn't have been easy. Ridge says that Taylor is the mother of his children and he loves her, but he has also hurt her badly.
Ridge comes over and joins Felicia. He says that he hasn't heard music like this in this house since they were kids. Felicia asks if he can still dance, since that was so long ago. He offers to show Felicia a few moves on the dance floor, but the door opens and Dante arrives. Felicia tells Ridge that she'll have to take a rain check, since her date is here. Ridge gives his sister a kiss and says they'll have that dance later. Felicia greets Dante, telling him how dashing he looks. She asks if he brought his dancing shoes. He asks if she's up to it; she says yes, so he takes her for a spin on the living room floor. Eric and Stephanie watch; Eric says that Felicia looks beautiful and they will always remember her. Just this way, Stephanie agrees.

Dante is honored to be Felicia's date.
|
The band starts playing an instrumental version of the standard, "The Way You Look Tonight." On the dance floor, Felicia thanks Dante for being her date, betting that he never imagined this when they met in that disco in France. Dante says he's honored and kisses her. Felicia says that felt good. She then switches with Darla and asks Thorne to promise to be there for Dominick as he grows. After Thorne agrees, Ridge cuts in for a turn with his sister. He tells her she looks beautiful; she says it's the magic of makeup, but he says she's the one who's magical. They both marvel at the idea that their parents came together tonight, and Felicia thinks their parents will make it this time. Finally, the last dance arrives and Felicia has saved it for her father. She tells him it feels good to be in his arms again, like it was when it all began. She asks him to sing to her, so Eric sings along, "Lovely, never ever change, keep that breathless smile, won't you please arrange it 'cause I love you, just the way you look tonight." Suddenly, Felicia collapses. Everyone rallies around her. She quickly comes to and catches her breath, and she thanks Eric for tonight, since he made it "the time of her life."
