Nick and Bridget watch Felicia tape her message to Dominick.
At the beach house, Felicia begins her message to Dominick. She starts off wishing they could have had more time together. She knows this is probably sad for him, but she doesn't want him to be sad, because she lived an incredible life, and the most incredible part of it was the time she spent with him. She wants him to know that he brought her more joy in life than anyone. She has so many things to say to him, but she doesn't want to say them all here, since she knows he'll get lots of advice from his daddy, and from his mommy, Bridget. She motions for Bridget to join her; Bridget doesn't want to intrude on Felicia's private message for her son, but Felicia insists. As Bridget sits beside her, Felicia tells Dominick that she will always be his mother, and she'll always love and watch over him. But Bridget is the woman he'll grow up calling Mommy, and she wants him to love Bridget with all his heart/ That's why she chose Bridget. She knows Bridget will love him as her own. Bridget says she will. Felicia tells Dominick that she's not worried for him, because he'll have an amazing future. She just wants him to always remember that anytime he needs anything, he can always turn to his family, as she's finally learned now. She ends the message by telling Dominick again that she loves him and always will.

Bridget and Felicia bond over her message.
Felicia signals to Nick to turn off the camera and nearly starts to cry. She hopes she didn't blubber like an idiot. Nick tells her she did great. Bridget says that she didn't realize how hard it would be for Felicia to say goodbye like that. Speaking of goodbyes, Felicia thinks she and Dominick should be going. Nick offers to put Dominick in his car seat, leaving Felicia and Bridget alone. Felicia starts crying, and Bridget puts her arms around her. Felicia gathers herself and says it was hard, but they were right; she needed to do it while she still had the chance. Bridget tells Felicia that there's still time, but it's not as much as Felicia would like. Still, the one thing that keeps her going is knowing Dominick will be here. She asks Bridget to promise that she'll always love Dominick like he's her own. Bridget promises that she will. Felicia says she has to hear that, especially since Bridget has her own child on the way. Bridget assures her that she'll keep her promise and won't Dominick down. "He'll be my son; he is my son," she states. The two women embrace.

Stephanie urges Ridge to fix the rift in his marriage.
At Forrester, in the Office Ridge Slept In, Stephanie tells Ridge that he has to fight for his marriage, but Ridge still can't overlook the fact that Taylor kept what happened between her and James from him for so long. Stephanie asks him to think about Thomas and the twins. What about Hope and RJ? he asks, reminding her how she thought nothing of them when she faked a heart attack to make Taylor look like the perfect wife. At least Taylor would never sleep with her daughter's husband, Stephanie states. Ridge has had enough; he's not listening to this anymore. As he walks out the door, he tells his mother that he's through with her controlling his wife, so he wants her to stay the hell out of it!

Brooke is stunned that Taylor says she made herself feel inferior.
Brooke and Taylor are still in Taylor's office. Taylor notes Brooke's accusation that she [Taylor] made Brooke feel inferior and suggests that most inferiority comes from people unfairly judging themselves. Brooke asks if Taylor is blaming her for this; Taylor points out that Brooke has made many mistakes to make herself feel small. Brooke says that unlike Taylor, she never denied her mistakes. Taylor is sorry if Brooke sees her as this angel, as she never claimed to be one, and she's sorry if she made Brooke feel inferior. At the same time, she still believes that her marriage will survive this. At least Ridge knows the truth and is through being lied to by Taylor and Stephanie, Brooke says. Now that Ridge knows Taylor for who she is, Brooke wishes Taylor look, since she'll need it. She leaves.

Taylor wonders if Ridge has a point.
Soon after, Stephanie comes in, and she's stunned to learn that Brooke was here and knows everything. She advises Taylor that Brooke will be nothing but trouble for Taylor's marriage, which is why they can't let Brooke near Ridge. Taylor tells Stephanie that the worst part about this is that she just bared her life's most painful secret, and all Ridge can think about it how it affected Brooke! Stephanie thinks Brooke is playing the victim, but Taylor has to wonder if Ridge has a point. Nonsense, Stephanie tells her. Taylor points out that it's possible that Ridge would have stayed with Brooke had Stephanie not faked her heart attack. Stephanie reminds Taylor that she [T] was the one who decided to tell Ridge about James. Taylor asks if that's her way of saying, "I told you so." Stephanie tells Taylor that the problem in her marriage isn't infidelity. The problem is about how Ridge has taken their issues and made them about Brooke, which is why Taylor has to get Brooke away from Ridge to save her marriage. Taylor asks if Stephanie really means that, or if Stephanie would do anything, including excusing her infidelity, just to get Brooke out of the family.
Stephanie sits beside Taylor on the couch and assures her that she's the only woman for Ridge. But if she believed that, Taylor says, she wouldn't have had to force Ridge's hand with the fake heart attack. She thinks Stephanie advised her not to say anything about James for the same reason. It all has to do with Stephanie's vendetta against Brooke. Stephanie denies it, but Taylor thinks they've been friends for so long that Stephanie should be honest with her. She thinks Brooke is the reason behind everything Stephanie has done since Brooke came into Ridge's life. Stephanie points out that Brooke is responsible for nearly all the crises that this family has suffered through. Taylor says that she, not Brooke, caused the crisis in her marriage. But Brooke will make it worse, Stephanie advises, unless Taylor does something to salvage her marriage. She tells Taylor not to get sidetracked, since Brooke will derail the marriage if Taylor does, and she thinks Taylor mustn't let that happen!
Brooke comes home and finds Ridge on the floor, playing with RJ. Ridge tells her that Catherine is giving Hope a bath and asked him to get RJ ready for bed. He was doing that when they got sidetracked with RJ's toys. Noting how much RJ's tastes in toys is changing, he thinks about how much he's missed by not being around every day. He remembers how happy they were when RJ was born, with all the plans they made. They were happy, Brooke agrees. As Ridge puts RJ in a playpen, he admits that he doesn't spend enough time with Hope and RJ. Brooke says they know he loves them, and she knows he's had a lot going on. Ridge says so has she. He asks if he can stay and help put the kids to bed. Brooke says they'd love that, and so would she. After Ridge tucks the kids in, he and Brooke share some wine. Ridge tells Brooke how much he loves her and the kids, and he wants to spend more time with them. Brooke worries that he's just saying that because he's upset with Taylor. Ridge tells her that he never stopped caring about her. Brooke admits that she once believed that, too, thinking that the bond between them couldn't be broken. Then he chose Taylor, and her faith in him shattered with her heart, and the way she lived her life changed.

Ridge asks Brooke to forgive him.
Ridge says he knows how that feels now that he knows how Taylor and his mother hid that secret from him. He may be overreacting, but the night with James tainted everything, and that makes how his mother and Taylor treated her [Brooke] inexcusable. He can't believe he let that happen, but he won't sit by and let it happen again. He won't let those two make Brooke their scapegoat any more. Brooke asks what he's saying. What he's saying, Ridge says, is that he's asking her to forgive him, and to... To what? Brooke asks as Ridge gazes at her.
