Eric tells Stephanie to respect Felicia's choices.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie laments to Eric that Felicia is giving up. Eric reminds her that Felicia has no real reason to want to live, given how her doctors say that there is no hope. Then they'll just have to get new doctors, Stephanie says. She tells him that she went to see some specialists in San Diego. But she said she went down there on business, Eric recalls. Stephanie explains that she didn't want Felicia to think there was hope when there really was none. However, there is a chance, although it's a long shot, where Felicia could have a liver transplant. Eric says no, but Stephanie refuses to lose her daughter. She recalls that Felicia used to be a fighter. She still is, Eric says, fighting to get everything ready for her baby before she passes on. He hugs Stephanie and says that he doesn't want to lose Felicia anymore than Stephanie does, but they have to respect Felicia's choices. "Even if they're the wrong ones" Stephanie asks.

Nick and Bridget decide to hold a memorial for Nicole.
At the beach house, Nick sits on the porch with his guitar, singing a lullaby called "Let Me Smile at You" that he wrote for Nicole. Bridget stands in the doorway, listening. Nick starts to choke up when he reaches the end. Bridget comes over, puts her arms around his neck and says that Nicole heard him. It's just the two of them now, he reminds her. And Dominick, she adds. She then tells Nick that she wants to hold a memorial service for Nicole, with their family there. Nick agrees. Bridget thinks she hears Dominick crying, but Nick says the baby boy is sleeping. He tells her that no one will ever replace Nicole; Bridget says she knows. She adds that Dominick has his own place in their hearts now, and they're a family. Nick kisses her cheek.
The phone rings and Stephanie picks it up. It's Bridget calling to ask for a favor. She wants to have the service at Stephanie's house. Stephanie agrees, even after Bridget asks if they can do it tomorrow, and says she will take care of everything. When she hangs up, Stephanie tells Eric she has something to take care of and takes off.

Taylor reads the test results.
At the hospital, Felicia tells Taylor to reveal the test results that will prove that Nick is her baby's father. Taylor says that the genetic markers in the test show with 100% certainty that Dominick's father is... Dante! Felicia immediately says that there must be a mistake, but Taylor assures her that the results show indisputably that Dominick's DNA exactly matches Dante's. Felicia refuses to believe it; This is Nick's son, she insists. She named him after Nick. She told Dante stories about his family, and she sees more of Nick in her son every day. She won't let one stupid test destroy her son's life. Dante, still in shock, sits down. He says that it's better that they know the truth. Felicia disagrees. She tells him that the only solace she found around her dying is that her son will have a loving mother and father. She thinks that the best thing is to let Nick and Bridget adopt the baby, since they're already his parents in every way anyway. Every way but blood, Dante says. As Felicia crumbles the test results, Taylor points out that the truth would have come out anyway. At least now, Dominick will never think that his mother hid this from him. She advises Dante and Felicia to talk this out. Dante says there's nothing to talk about; he wants Nick to be told. Felicia cries, wondering how she can break this news to Nick or Bridget.

Dante wants to be part of his son's life.
Felicia and Dante arrive at the Forrester guest house. If he cares about the baby, she tells Dante, he'll put Dominck's needs first. Dante says that the baby's needs will be met by being with his biological father. Felicia can't believe that Dante has fallen in love with the baby just form knowing they share blood; she thinks that love like that takes time to grow, just like he's hoping Bridget's love for him will grow when she finds out he's the father. She refuses to let him use her son to worm his way back into Bridget's heart. Bridget has nothing to do with this, he states. He thinks Felicia, as the baby's mother, should know that no one can love that boy more than his real father. He knows neither of them planned this, but he thinks the important thing is for Dominick to know that he has a father who loves him and will never leave him. That's why he wants to go Nick's right now to tell him. Felicia says that he can't just waltz over there and tell Nick to hand over his son. She offers to call Nick and get him to bring Dominick over. At the beach house, Nick is reading in bed, with Bridget sleeping beside him, when he Felicia calls. She cryptically asks him to bring Dominick back home, as she needs to see him. Nick says he'll be right there. Felicia hangs up, still unable to believe this is happening. Dante tells her that it will be OK, but she doesn't see how it will ever be OK.
At the beach house, Nick gets dressed and tells Bridget that Felicia asked him to bring Dominick home. But it's late, Bridget argues, and it's cold outside. She wants to call Felicia, but Nick stops her. He tells her that Felicia sounded upset and needs her son right now. He reminds Bridget that they have the rest of their lives with Dominick. Bridget agrees, so Nick finishes dressing and takes the baby. Alone, Bridget gets a drink and spots the blanket she knitted with Nicole's name on it. She picks it up and sobs. She looks up and sees a picture of Nick, Dominick and her on the mantle; she picks it up and says, "my family".

Stephanie wonders what's in Felicia's file.
Stephanie stops by the Bel Air mansion to see Taylor. She tells Taylor about the memorial service and asks her to be there. She knows it will be hard for Taylor to see Ridge with Brooke, but she thinks this could be the start of the healing process, not only for Taylor, but for the whole family. Taylor shrugs her shoulders and walks past Stephanie, who sees the file on the table with Felicia's name on it. Stephanie asks if Felicia had blood work done. Taylor takes the folder, saying that it's confidential. Stephanie tells Taylor about her trip to San Diego to look into specialists for Felicia, since she needs Felicia to understand not to give up. She wonders, given the lab report Taylor has, if Felicia is already considering other treatments. Taylor again tells Stephanie that she can't discuss this, as the information is confidential. Stephanie says that she will ask Felicia then, but Taylor urges her to leave this alone. Stephanie is confused; she thinks Taylor, like Eric, is forgetting that Felicia has little time left. She's not going to sit around and wait until her daughter is ready to talk. Taylor stops her again, saying there's other people involved. Stephanie asks what she means.

Holding her son, Felicia starts to cry.
At the guest house, Nick arrives with Dominick, informing Felicia that "Marone & Son" have arrived to cheer up a very special lady who needs it. He tells the baby to show Mommy their act. Felicia apologizes for making them come out this late. Nick says it's OK, since he and Dominick find lots to talk about in the car. Still, Felicia tells Nick, she hates taking Dominick from him, Nick says they plenty of time and asks Felicia if she wants to talk. She tells him that Bridget needs him. Nick then tells her about the memorial service and asks her to be there, if she's up to it. Felicia hates that they're going through this. Nick says it would be a lot worse without Dominic. He loves the boy more than he ever thought he would. He's sure that Dominick will grow into the kind of young man Felicia will be proud of. Felicia begins to cry and she's so sorry. Pointing to Dominick, Nick says she has nothing to be sorry for and hands her the baby. He then gives the baby a kiss, tells Felicia that he'll see them tomorrow. Once he's gone, Felicia starts to cry again. Dante comes out of the other room, and Felicia hands him the baby.
