Brooke is stunned by Ridge's Valentine's Day gift.
Brooke enters her bedroom and is stunned to find lit candles, flowers and music setting the mood. Ridge steps out of the shadows, holding a gift box. He knows it's been a rough couple of days... It has, Brooke agrees, which is why she's in no mood for one of his romantic gestures. As she starts to blow out the candles, Ridge hands her the box, Ridge opens it himself. Brooke takes the open box and finds a garish red and black valentine bra and matching thong, complete with hearts covering the bra cups and the crotch area. Brooke can't believe he would give her this; she thinks it just shows how he doesn't understand what she needs from him. Doesn't she like it? Ridge asks. Brooke replies that she doesn't like him thinking that lingerie can answer all their problems. Maybe it can, Ridge suggests. He tells her, "Come on, Logan, just try it on.: She tells him not to call her that anymore, as she is NOT his Logan anymore. Brushing past him, she tells him to take his lingerie and leave.

Ridge asks Brooke if there's still hope for them.
Ridge asks Brooke to at least read the card. Reluctantly, she takes the envelope and removes a bug pink card with a big red heart on the outside. Opening it, she reads, "Roses are red, violets are blue me, this card is cute, so why don't you..." She stops before finishing the raunchy poem, unable to believe that he thought that would work. She tells him again to leave, but he suggests that maybe that wasn't the right card. He has a few more for her to try out, and he takes a sack of cards and dumps them on her bed! He explains that he bought almost every card in the place to find the right words that would win back her heart. That must amount to something, he laughs. Brooke still can't believe this. Ridge starts going through card after card, but none of them really says what's in his heart. Brooke asks if he's giving up. He'll never do that, he says; he can't remove the image of the two of them together that is seared into his mind and heart forever. He knows it's hard given how he hurt her, but he hopes she can make this Valentine's Day the most special he's ever had by telling him that there's even a tiny hope left that he can win her back.

Nick wants to know what's bothering Felicia.
At the Forrester mansion, Felicia feigns being in pain to keep Dante from telling Nick his suspicions about her son's paternity. Nick asks her what's wrong; when she says that it's Dante, Nick orders the artist to get out, now! Dante hesitates at first and looks at Felicia, but he then leaves. Once Dante is gone, Nick asks Felicia what just happened here. Felicia tells him to leave, since Bridget will need him, but he is more concerned about finding out what got her so upset just now. He knows it has to do with Dante, but he can't understand what the big secret here is. Felicia says she doesn't want to talk about Dante; she wants him to reassure her that he and Bridget are going to be OK. He reminds her that it can take time to accept losing a child, and he thinks that's how it is with Bridget. Felicia wonders if she made a mistake putting Dominick in Bridget's arms so soon. Nick tells her that he and Bridget are both committed to raising that little boy, to giving him the life he deserves, the life that Felicia wants for him. That is, unless something has changed. Felicia asks him if Bridget really feels that way. Nick says that he understands her concerns, and he knows there will be some adjusting because he and Bridget lost a child. But he is sure that he and Bridget can do this. He looks at Dominick and decides that the boy needs a nickname; he decides that "Cool Breeze Marone" fits. As he tries out the name with the buy, Felicia thinks about Dante claiming that Dominick could be his son. Nick recalls when she told him Dominick was his; that really threw him, but now he couldn't love the baby any more than he does. That's why, if Felicia will permit it, he'd like to change the boy's name to Dominick Forrester Marone. Felicia says she'd love that; the name is perfect, in more ways than Nick knows.

Hector is concerned about Taylor.
Taylor is at home pouring herself some wine when Hector calls her to check on her. She tells him that she's fine, and she has her car back, good as new. She takes several sips of wine as they talk, and she assures him that she is adjusting just fine. Adjusting to life without Ridge? he asks. She says it can be done. Hector offers any help she needs. She thanks him for being such a sweetheart, but he says he wants to be more. She says she knows that. The doorbell rings, so she tells Hector she has to go get that; she promises to call him later and ends the call. As Hector hangs up his phone, he looks worried.

Dante asks Taylor for help.
Taylor opens the door and finds Dante there, needing her advice. He starts to go about knowing it might have been possible, but he guesses he was in denial and dismissed it. He didn't think it could be his, because he always takes precautions, but that night wasn't a typical night. Taylor guesses that he's saying he thinks he may have gotten a woman pregnant. He says that's it, but now he has to know for sure if he is the father or not. Then why not ask the mother? she asks. Because it's Felicia, he says. He tells her the story of how he and Felicia met in Nice; he sensed she was on the rebound from some guy, and she was. But then he took her home from that bar and something happened between them. Felicia thought he used protection, and he did - the first time. But as the night went on. Taylor now realizes that he thinks he could be Dominick's father. And when he told Felicia, he explains, she denied it, claiming she was sure Nick was the father. Taylor offers him some wine, but he declines. He admits that being a father is the last thing he wants to do, but he also needs to know the truth. Taylor doesn't understand why he'd have a problem raising a child when he was willing to raise Bridget's. He wanted Bridget and him to be a family, he says, but with Dominick, he'd be a single father, and he doesn't know if that's best for the child. Still, he has to know the truth. Taylor reminds him of what Felicia is going through now but Dante vows to find out the truth with or without her help.

Taylor asks Felicia to have a paternity test done for Dominick.
Felicia is sitting by the fireplace looking through a photo album from Christmas, saying to herself how lucky her son is to be part of such a loving family. Just then, Taylor and Dante arrive. When Felicia realizes that the two came together, she tells Dante that he had no right. Taylor says she wants to help. Then she should leave right now, Felicia says. Taylor asks if there is a chance Dante could be the father. Felicia insists that there isn't, but Dante angrily disagrees. Felicia comments on what a great guy Dante is, picking up drunk women in bars and taking them home to have sex with them without protection. Taylor tries to stop the fighting, but Felicia says there's nothing to fight about, because Dante is NOT her baby's father! Then prove it! Dante says. Felicia can't believe she is hearing this, because her son's future is with Nick and Bridget. Taylor says there is only one way to do this, and that's to take the paternity test.
