Eric is worried about Felicia.
At the Forrester mansion, Felicia gets up from the sofa; she has an attack of pain and falls over. Eric comes in and asks if she's OK; she insists that she didn't fall. As Eric helps her up, she asks him to get her walker. Eric does, but he thought she didn't need it. She doesn't when she's on her meds, she explains. Eric offers to fetch her pills, but Felicia admits that she's out. But they bring a supply every week, Eric recalls. Felicia says she miscalculated the dose; Eric realizes that she must be taking more to cope with the pain. He scolds her for not telling anyone that she needs more meds. She says she didn't because she feels out of sorts reporting everything she does, even going to the bathroom. Eric jokes that he's used to that, since Stephanie has been out of sorts since 1960. He then asks Felicia if she'd be better off in a hospital now; she adamantly refuses. She is sure that if she goes into the hospital, she won't come out. She doesn't need science right now, she states; everything she needs is right here. The advantage of dying, she says, is that you can choose how you die, and she refuses to die in a hospital, where she'll be poked and prodded by a bunch of strangers. Eric agrees not to send her to the hospital, provided she tells them when she needs help. She admits that she's in pain and is out of pills, but she'll be able to walk when she gets some. She agrees to let Eric take her to the hospital for more, as long as he promises not to let them take her, even overnight. Eric promises and she kisses him, and he kisses her back.

Nick tells Bridget that she has a message from Felicia.
In the hospital, Nick tells Bridget that she has another message from Felicia; Bridget frets that she didn't call Felicia, but Nick is sure Felicia will understand. Maybe they can see her on the way home, Bridget suggests. Nick thinks they should wait for the doctor. Brooke bursts in, upset that they didn't call her sooner. She asks if they called Eric, but Nick says he wasn't able to find Eric at the office. Dr. Caspary comes in with the good news that the contractions have stopped. However, this is Bridget's second scare with this baby. Since pre-term labor can be tricky, she wants to keep Bridget here for a while. If that's what they need to do for Nicole, Bridget says, she'll do it. Brooke hears the name and thinks it's perfect. Feeling a bit awkward, Nick excuses himself to get some coffee. Once he's gone, Bridget tells Brooke how much she loves Nick. There is no one like him, Brooke agrees. Bridget fears that if anything happens... Brooke tells her not to think about that, but Bridget can't help it, since something happening could change things between her and Nick.

Felicia reminds Eric of his promise.
Felicia gets a call from Nick, who tells her about Bridget. She tells him that she and Eric will be right there. Eric opposes the idea, since Felicia can barely walk. Felicia asks him to help her; she knows he won't let her fall. He says that Bridget will understand if she's not up to this, but she says she has to be there for the woman who will raise her son. She asks him to check the fax machine to see if her prescription is there. He says he has it. So he can take her to the hospital to fill it, she says, and she can see Bridget while they're there. Eric reminds her of his earlier promise: he doesn't know if he can keep it if she collapses again. She asks him get the wheelchair the hospice brought her from the guest-house. Does she even know how to use it? he asks. She doesn't think it can be too complicated, so Eric goes to fetch the chair so they can go for their little "visit."

Nick returns to Bridget's room. She asks where his coffee is. He says he had to make some calls. She suggests he go to the office if he has stuff to tend to. He sarcastically asks why he should worry about his wife and child when he has important papers on his desk. Bridget reminds him that Massimo is out of town, but Brooke says that Ridge told her that Massimo is back. Nick is surprised that she was with Ridge and asks when that was. When he says that it was last night, Nick thinks he should really get that coffee now and excuses himself.

Brooke tries to reassure Bridget.
Bridget asks Brooke what Ridge wanted last night. Brooke says he had a few of his "Ridge stunts," and it was almost like he treated her like some kind of carnival prize. Bridget thinks it's OK to slam the door in Ridge's face as long as Brooke leaves a window open. Brooke is surprised Bridget wants her back with Ridge when Bridget didn't want her with Eric. Bridget says her mom acted crazy by remarrying Eric, and she doesn't want Brooke crazy. Brooke looks at Bridget and senses something wrong; she guesses it's all the stress. Bridget tells Brooke to keep talking about Ridge, but Brooke would rather talk about Bridget, who says that she feels like she did everything wrong by climbing on that chair and lying about having an abortion. She wonders if she's being punished for that. Brooke tells her that God doesn't punish babies for mistakes their parents make, otherwise, nobody would be born. Bridget thinks that maybe, just as Nicole's life depends on her, her life depends on the baby. She worries that the baby might be the only thing keeping Nick with her and fears losing the baby and... Brooke assures her that Nick is committed to her and promises that they'll get through this. She wants Bridget to always remember that she's her daughter, the most precious, wonderful human being on this planet, to her, and to Nick.

Eric and Felicia arrive at the hospital. He leaves Felicia in her wheelchair, waiting in the hall while he takes her script to the pharmacy. Felicia starts to ask someone about Bridget, but the person ignores her. The two orderlies come through with a gurney with a covered corpse on it; Felicia blocks their way, so one asks if he can help her. She says she's fine and backs away. The other orderly asks Felicia if he can help her find her room; she snaps at him that she's not a patient and never will be, so don't try to take her anywhere in this wheelchair, on the gurney or in anything else! Nick then finds Felicia, who asks him to take her to Bridget, but not to mention her clash with the orderlies to his wife. Nick asks how she got here; she tells him that Eric brought her and asks her to wait outside the room, to tell Eric where she is. She then asks him to help her get out of the wheelchair and to put a gift she has under her arm. She then tells him to smile, since this is Bridget's hard time and Bridget should be the patient.

Bridget loves Felicia's gift.
Nick helps Felicia into the room, Bridget is glad to see her. Brooke excuses herself so Felicia and Bridget can have some time alone. Once they're alone, Bridget tells Felicia about what happened. Felicia guesses she must have been scared to death and admits she was scared to death, too - figuratively, that is, for Bridget. Bridget says Felicia doesn't look so good. And Bridget's not exactly the height of chic, Felicia quips in reply. Felicia then gives Bridget the gift box she brought: it's a leather jacket for Nicole. Felicia thought it was fitting since they know Nicole's a toughie. She made it herself, with some help from the shop for some of the tough stitching that needed muscle. Bridget loves it. Felicia just wishes she could be here to teach Nicole to spit and slouch, since Nick will probably only teach that to his son. Bridget tells Felicia to teach her and she'll teach Nicole. Felicia gets a pained look, which worries Bridget. Felicia just brushes it off.

Bridget wishes she could be as fearless as Felicia. Felicia says it's easy. She tells Bridget to imagine the worst thing that could happen here. Then she wants Bridget to think of herself as a single shining star among millions of burned out stars who then finds it's her turn to burn out. She asks Bridget which one of those situations she wants to be in. She wants to be here, Bridget says. Right, Felicia says. But at the same time, you want to hold off the worst, but but being afraid keeps it near you. That's why you have to keep something close to you instead. Bridget cups Felicia's face and says, "My sister." Felicia repeats, "My sister" and promises Bridget that the baby will be just fine.
