Bridget treats a wounded Shane.
Bridget is at her beach house reading when she hears a thud outside. She looks up and sees a bloody hand clawing at her window, so she goes outside and finds a wounded Shane collapsed on her deck. Bridget brings him inside, where Shane explains that a couple of guys on the beach beat him up over his last few dollars. Obviously he didn't win, Bridget quips. Shane knows Bridget doesn't want him here, but he asks her to help stitch up his wounds. Bridget checks him out quickly and finds that he has a deep cut above his eye and a couple of broken ribs. She tells him to hold still while she stitches his eye and takes a closer look at his ribs.

Phoebe gets nervous when Ridge tells her to forget about Shane.
At Taylor's house, Phoebe sits in the living room and fondly recalls Shane kissing her. She comes back to reality when her dad drops by. Seeing that the movers have brought Thorne and Ally's things over, Ridge explains that he came by to get a few things from the garage. He asks Phoebe how she feels about her mother's engagement to Thorne. She replies that she's glad to see how happy her mom, Thorne and Ally are. Ridge asks Phoebe how she is. When she hesitantly responds that she;s good, Ridge guesses that she's thinking about Shane. He assures her that the police will catch Shane and toss him in jail. Phoebe tells him that he's wrong about Shane, who's really a great guy. She thinks Hector overreacted by hitting Shane with a baseball bat, since she knows Shane would never try to rape her. Ridge is surprised that she's defending Shane, especially after McGrath ran off in the middle of Taylor's trial. Phoebe tells him that Shane had to run and hide, since he feared he'd be arrested for raping her. Ridge asks how she knows Shane is hiding and guesses that she's seen Shane. She tells him that Shane just wanted to apologize. Ridge is upset that she saw Shane and didn't call the cops. Despite her protests, he tells her that Shane McGrath is trouble, which is why he doesn't want her anywhere near Shane. He tells her to call the police if Shane calls her again. Phoebe insists that Shane fell in love with her, but Ridge thinks Shane is too old and too dangerous for his 18 year old daughter.

Shane promises Bridget that he won't take advantage of Phoebe.
Phoebe gets a call on her cell phone from Bridget, who tries to tell Phoebe about Shane. Phoebe tells Bridget she's talking to her dad and will call her right back. Ridge tells Phoebe that he doesn't want to take any chances, since she deserves someone better than "that bum Shane." He goes to the garage to get his things. Once he leaves, Phoebe calls Bridget back and asks about Shane. After Bridget clues her in about Shane's injuries, Phoebe wants to talk to Shane, but Bridget says he's getting cleaned up. Bridget wants to call the police, but Phoebe begs her not to. She asks Bridget to just let Shane stay the night. Bridget agrees, but she stresses that it will only be for one night. Phoebe thanks Bridget and they end the call. When Shane returns from cleaning up, he asks Bridget if she called the police. She tells him that she spoke to Phoebe, who convinced her not to call the police. Bridget then sees Shane having trouble breathing and checks his ribs; as she does, she warns Shane not to take advantage of Phoebe, who is only 18. Shane tells her that he knows and promises that he'll be gone tomorrow. While Bridget is getting a blanket for Shane, Phoebe calls back; Bridget gives the phone to Shane, who tells Phoebe that he's fine, thanks to Bridget. Phoebe tells him she's sorry and promises to get the charges against him dropped. Shane says that means a lot to him, but he wonders if he should leave town. Phoebe tells him not to, because she believes in him, even if no one else does. Shane thanks her and bids her, "Sweet dreams."

Jackie suggests that Nick contact Taylor.
Jackie finds Nick in the Forrester CEO's office, on the phone arguing with a fabric supplier. When Nick hangs up out of frustration, Jackie laments that Brooke isn't here to run the company with him, since even she is having problems dealing with the sewing room. On top of that, Nick adds, he got some more resignations this morning. Jackie asks how they can set the fashion world on fire if their employees hate them. Nick hopes things turn around soon, since failure isn't an option. Changing the subject, Jackie asks if he considered Taylor's offer. Nick replies that he wrestled with his dreams last night and won. But he can still have dinner with Taylor, she points out. Nick reminds her that Taylor is engaged. She can still have friends, Jackie counters. Nick tells her that Taylor wants to "cure" him so he'll give the company back to the Forresters. Jackie suggests he prove to Taylor that he won't do that by showing Taylor his true self. She thinks Taylor will respond to that, since everyone needs a confidant, and he's ten times the man Thorne Forrester is.

Thorne warns Taylor that Nick can't be trusted.
Taylor and Thorne awaken in her bedroom after making love. They talk about how happy they are that they're getting married. Taylor tells Thorne that she has an idea for a wedding gift for him, one she's sure his whole family will really appreciate. Thorne asks what she has in mind; she asks what he'd say if she told him she could get Forrester Creations back in his family's hands. Thorne says he'd love that, but he can't see Nick selling them back the company. Taylor tells him about her earlier conversation with Nick and her offer to counsel Nick in therapy. She admits that Nick turned her down, but she thinks she can get through to him. She thinks she can show him that his taking Forrester was just a reaction to his anger at Stephanie and his losing Brooke. Once Nick understands that, she thinks he'll admit that he can never be happy owning a company he can't even produce product for. Thorne is skeptical, especially since he's nervous about his wife to be consorting with their enemy. Taylor tells him that thinking about "enemies" that way is what sent Jackie over the balcony. She adds that she can tell that any new company he and his family start will never replace Forrester in their hearts. And Nick knows that, Thorne agrees, which is why Nick will never give them back the company. Taylor still thinks that getting Nick to understand his anger will show him how meaningless Forrester really is to him. Thorne doesn't think Nick can be trusted. He tells Taylor that he's sorry, but he won't have the woman he's marrying hanging around that guy.

Nick accepts Taylor's offer.
Soon after, Nick calls Taylor and tells her that he mulled over her idea about counseling him. He doesn't think he has any demons, but he's willing to let her take a crack at trying. Taylor asks, "Do you want me to bring some holy water and a cross?" Nick suggests they meet in his office at Forrester tomorrow for a session. Taylor says they'll have to schedule several sessions, since he won't be cured in one day. Nick is skeptical about that, but he says he'll see her tomorrow. Jackie asks why he didn't pick a more romantic spot, like Cafe Russe. Nick tells her that his office is fine. Jackie thinks it could get interesting if he and Taylor help each other; she predicts something miraculous happening tomorrow, and she thinks it couldn't happen to a better person.

Taylor tells Thorne that she has hooked her fish.
Back at Thorne's, Taylor tells Thorne that Nick agreed, although she's not sure how seriously he's taking it. It's a start, Thorne states. Taylor tells him, "I am going to do it. I'm going to get Forrester Creations back."
