Eric asks Alexandria about Phoebe.
At Thorne's house, Eric worries that Phoebe is coming down with a fever. He tries to call Taylor, to no avail. He then asks Alexandria if Phoebe took any medicine. No, Ally replies. Eric asks Phoebe to talk to him, but she thinks Darla is there, asking where Taylor is. "Jail," Phoebe replies. Eric overhears the word and is surprised. He asks Ally if she knows why Phoebe would say that. "It's her fault mommy died," Ally answers. Eric asks the little girl why she'd say that. "She said it," Alexandria replies.

Stephanie doesn't think Taylor is an a position to decide anything.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie watches as Thorne tells Taylor to open up to him. She gave Alexandria and him their lives back, he reminds her, so he'll be here for her, if she'll only tell him what's wrong. Before Taylor can answer, Stephanie asks for a minute alone with Taylor. Thorne reluctantly agrees, so Stephanie takes Taylor on the balcony. Taylor asks Stephanie why she stopped her before she confessed. Stephanie admits that she saw how Thorne sees Taylor, so she sees no value in Taylor telling the truth. Thorne needs to know, Taylor says; Stephanie even said that herself. "I wouldn't trust you to tie your own shoes at this point," Stephanie says. Taylor thinks Thorne needs to know, but Stephanie doesn't think Taylor is an a position to decide anything, after the way she made a mess of her own life. Taylor asks what Stephanie expects her to do. Stephanie says that Taylor owes Thorne a life, but instead, she made him smile, and she was nice to him. Taylor explains that she gave Thorne the love that he felt he couldn't get from other places. And he turned to the brilliant psychiatrist who knows as much about decency as a common dog, Stephanie sarcastically quips. She asks Taylor what happened to her. "I lost myself," Taylor says. And she lost Darla, too, Stephanie asks, like she'd lose her keys or her purse? Taylor replies that she has a habit of listening to the wrong people - like she did with Stephanie, and that cost her her marriage.

Thorne joins the ladies and asks what's going on. He tells Taylor about Phoebe's call earlier and asks what that's about. Stephanie covers that something horrible happened tonight and tells Thorne about the fire at Hector's. She got there in time to get Taylor out, but the firemen barely got an injured Hector out before the house burned down. Thorne realizes why the ladies are so out of sorts, and he feels for Hector because the fireman tried to save Darla. He offers to drive Taylor to the hospital, but Stephanie says that the firemen said they'd call when they know something. Just then, her cell phone rings; when she sees the call coming from University Hospital, she thinks it's the firemen, so she's surprised to hear Eric's voice. He explains how he found Phoebe earlier at Thorne's house, shaking and sweating with a fever, so he brought her to the hospital. Bridget is on duty, but she has a lot questions, so he needs to find Taylor. Stephanie puts Taylor on the line; after she answers Eric's questions, Taylor asks how Alexandria is. She's here with them, Eric replies. Taylor passes that on to Thorne, who takes the phone and tells his dad that they're on their way.

Dr. Bridget is on the job.
Dr. Bridget checks out Phoebe and says that the teen seems OK, but she wants to see how Phoebe reacts to medication before sending her home. Bridget and Eric then realize that Alexandria is missing; they go looking for the little girl and find her under some chairs. Bridget coaxes her out by offering a brand new coloring book that she needs help coloring. Ally doesn't want to go back in the room, so Bridget tells her to sit on these chairs with the coloring book while she goes to check on Phoebe. Taylor, Stephanie and Thorne arrive; Bridget fills them in and tells them that Phoebe is fine. She then says that she heard that Stephanie and Taylor were heroes tonight, with what happened to Hector. She doesn't know what would have happened to Hector had they not been there. Taylor asks how Hector is; Bridget says that he's conscious but sedated last she heard, since he's recovering from a concussion. She then sends Taylor in to see Phoebe.

Thorne talks with Alexandria.
Thorne sits in the hall with Alexandria, who shows him one of the pictures she colored. She asks if this is where Mommy died. Thorne tells her it was in this building, but on a different floor. Ally asks to go there, since Mommy might have come back; Thorne doesn't think so, so Ally reminds him that he always told her to stay where she is if she's lost.

Taylor enters Phoebe's room. Phoebe starts to talk, but Stephanie comes in, with Eric behind her, and tells Phoebe to keep her oxygen mask on and listen. She explains about the fire; Eric notes how lucky it was for Taylor and Hector that he married a busybody, even if she smells of smoke. Thorne comes in to see Taylor; he tells her about Alexandria wanting to see the room where Darla died. Stephanie offers to take the girl, but Thorne thinks he needs Taylor, since Ally expects to find her mom upstairs. Taylor suggests that she clear it with the staff to allow Ally to stand in the room's doorway, but Thorne isn't too keen on that idea. Taylor promises to find a purpose for doing it and then goes to find Ally. She thanks the little girl for taking care of Phoebe today and asks to see Ally's drawing. Ally shows her a picture of a bee; Taylor suggests that Ally finish it, so they can take it upstairs and put it on the door of the room where Darla died. That way, Darla can see it from heaven. Ally likes that idea and asks for her daddy's help picking a color to finish the drawing, so Thorne makes a suggestion. Eric comes over and asks Thorne how Alexandria is doing. Amazingly well, Thorne answers, thanks to Taylor. Stephanie watches through the window and frowns.

Phoebe tries to play dumb with her grandmother.
In Phoebe's room, Bridget explains to Phoebe how serious panic attacks, like the one Phoebe had, can be. She suggests Phoebe talk to her mom about it. Phoebe apologizes for worrying everyone, but Bridget assures her she'll be fine. Bridget then leaves. Eric thinks he should track down Ridge and leaves as well. That leaves Taylor, Phoebe and Stephanie in the room. Stephanie says it's time to get serious. Taylor tells Phoebe that Grandma knows, but Phoebe plays dumb and asks, "Knows what?" Stephanie tells Phoebe to drop the act and tell the truth about the accident. Phoebe explains it was an accident, but Taylor admits she was drinking. Stephanie asks if she's still drinking. Taylor asks Stephanie what she thinks, but Stephanie doesn't know what to think, other than to tell Taylor to pull herself together and stop blaming herself. As for Phoebe, Stephanie wants her to make sure Taylor attends her A.A. meetings regularly. Taylor tells Stephanie not to lay that responsibility on Phoebe and try to run their lives. Stephanie says she's not trying to run anything. She just wants Taylor to see that living is what truly matters. She tells Taylor to move on. Taylor doesn't know if she can. Stephanie says Taylor will have to; she points out that she's not doing this to save Taylor, but to help Taylor pay the debt she owes to Thorne and Ally. Those two need Taylor, Stephanie explains, which is why she wants Taylor to be there for them.

Taylor tells Stephanie that she can't live with the guilt.
Taylor says that she's been trying, but she can't live with the guilt that she destroyed Thorne's life. Stephanie thinks that a psychiatrist like Taylor should know what a waste it is to feel guilty. She points out that she's done many unforgivable things in her time, but she doesn't dwell on them while waiting to be judged. She moves on and tries to find a way to redeem herself, and now Taylor must do the same. Taylor thinks Thorne deserves to know who killed his wife, but Stephanie says that won't bring him or Alexandria any peace. And if it was an accident, as Taylor says, then Taylor should just walk away from it. "If he can live with it, you can, too," Stephanie says. Taylor looks out into the hall at Thorne and Alexandria through the window in the door. Stephanie says that she owes it to Darla. Taylor considers Stephanie's words.
