Eric and Stephanie tell Felicia that she's alive.
At the clinic, Eric and Stephanie discuss Dr. Christian Ramirez's belief that they should tell the family about Felicia. Christian comes out of Felicia's room and asks Eric and Stephanie if they're ready. Before they go in, Eric asks Christian if he understands their reasons for keeping Felicia's condition a secret. Christian assures him that he knows that they just wanted to keep their family from getting their hopes up. But based on Felicia's test results, Christian thinks they have every reason to hope. While he admits that Felicia has a ways to go, all indications are that she's going to make it. He suggests that Eric and Stephanie go see for themselves. They go in and wait by Felicia's bedside. Felicia starts to stir; Stephanie tells her that they're there. They're both there, Eric adds. Stephanie asks Felicia is she can hear them. Felicia squeezes her hand. Stephanie calls out her name and Felicia slowly opens her eyes. She asks if she's in heaven. No, Stephanie replies. Eric adds that she's not in heaven, but he and Stephanie are. Felicia asks what's happening; Stephanie tells her that she's alright and alive!

Felicia wants to see her son.
Felicia is confused, so Eric and Stephanie explain how Stephanie brought her to the clinic. Stephanie admits that she knew it wasn't what Felicia wanted, but she saw no other way. She then tells Felicia about the liver transplant. Christian watches in the background, so Stephanie introduces Felicia to the doctor who saved her life. Felicia thanks him, but Christian says that he can't take all the credit. "My baby," Felicia says. Stephanie tells Felicia how she brought Dominick there when things looked grim, and she thinks Dominick is the reason Felicia is with them right now. Felicia asks to see her son. Eric says they'll bring Dominick. Christian adds that Felicia can see her son soon, but she still has some fighting to do first. Still, he's pleased with her test results so far, and he's sure that more good news will follow. But for that to happen, he states, Felicia will have to rest and conserve her strength. That means no more crying. He's sure she has lots of questions for him and her parents, and he'll answer them all in time. But right now, he wants her to rest. He then steps away. Felicia asks Eric and Stephanie to stay with her. Of course they will, Stephanie responds, assuring Felicia that they're not going anywhere, and neither is she. Felicia starts to cry and tells Stephanie that she loves her. Stephanie reminds her that the doctor said no more crying, but she loves Felicia, too.

Ridge wants to find Nick, pronto!
In Massimo's office, Ridge and Mass work the phones to track down Nick, Brooke and the kids, to no avail. Mass tells Ridge that the harbormaster informed him that Nick didn't radio his heading when he left the marina, so he could be going anywhere. Ridge is sure that wherever Nick is, that's where Brooke and the kids are, too. He's mad that "the bastard" hijacked his family and wants to put a stop to this now, but Mass warns him not to overreact, as they don't know where Nick is. Ridge thinks he knows: he bets that Nick stole a page from his book and took Brooke back to a place that would remind her of what they shared. Since there wasn't time to take Brooke to Hawaii, Ridge bets that Nick brought her to the island near the Channel Islands. Mass recalls when Brooke and Nick were stranded on that island a couple of years ago. That's where this whole fiasco started, Ridge says, and this time, Nick has dragged the kids into it. a night alone on a deserted island...only this time he's (N) dragged his kids into it. He tells Mass to call the airfield and have the Marone chopper on the roof in 15 minutes; he's bringing his family back tonight!

Massimo has an idea about how to handle Nick.
As Ridge turns to leave, Massimo stops him. Ridge wants to get Brooke and the kids off that island, but Mass reminds Ridge that storming the island didn't work the last time Brooke was there. He advises Ridge that he can't solve this problem with a sledgehammer. If Ridge really wants to cut the tie between Brooke and Dominick, Mass explains, he'll have to use a scalpel. Mass knows Ridge is angry and frustrated, but he warns that one wrong move will destroy his relationship with Brooke, and it will be his own Ridge insists that he has to try something. Mass suggests that he be the one to talk to Nick, reminding Nick how high the stakes are. He thinks Nick will listen this time, because if he doesn't, there will be consequences.
Meanwhile, on the island, Nick makes some smores toasted marshmallows and chocolate on graham crackers - for Brooke and the kids. Hope asks for one more. Nick says she had plenty, but she says that mommy had the most. Brooke feigns innocence, but Nick tells her that she's busted and wipes chocolate off her lip. Brooke then brings out Nick's guitar for a song, so Nick offers up one they'll all know, "If You're Happy and You Know It (Clap Your Hands)." Nick then says it's time for all pirates under 4 feet tall to go to bed. Hope asks for a story first; Nick isn't sure, but Brooke says just one story will be OK, so Nick tells the story of Blue Eyed Bill, the handsomest sailor in the seven seas. Bill was a handsome sailor who had girls over him when he brought his ship, The Soaring Seagull, into port, but he always saved himself for one special girl back home, the beautiful Lady Leigh. Hope asks him if this is a love story with a happy ending. Nick asks is she wants it to have a happy ending. Hope nods, so Nick assures her that it will end happily. Brooke smiles as Nick continues his story; by the time he's done, Hope is fast asleep. Brooke tells him that it's not because his story was boring, but because they all had a great day. But it's not over yet, Nick says, at least not for the grown ups.

Nick serenades Brooke.
After Brooke puts the kids down, she comes back to Nick and sits beside him. They kiss and cuddle a bit. HE then assures her that Bridget will be fine, just like they will. She asks how he knew she was thinking of Bridget. Because he knows she thinks of her kids every night and says a prayer for each one of them, he replies. She admits that's true and says that she also says a prayer for him. He feels special to be included in her nightly prayers and guesses that things must be working right. They are, Brooke tells him, and the time they spent on this island today proves that. She reminds him that this is the place that they fell in love, and now here they are, finally together and content. It's the answer to so many of her prayers. She kisses him and then asks him to sing her a song. He teases and asks if she wants a repeat performance of "If You're Happy and You Know It," but she says that she wants their song. He teases that he doesn't remember writing "their song" and asks if she remember the words to it. She says she does; in fact, she hasn't been able to get it out of her head, as it's the one thing that's given her hope when nothing else could. Nick sings their song - Going Back Again - for her.

Brooke feels like she and Nick are "going back again."
When Brooke finishes the song, Brooke smiles. She tells him that even when she tried to forget him, that song kept coming back to her, the one absolute truth amidst so much confusion. When they were denying their feelings for each other and trying to do the right thing, she'd would lay awake at night trying to make sense of it all, and she just kept hearing that song. It reminded her of how she felt the first time she heard it, and now she feels like they have "gone back again" to what's real, and to each other. Not completely, he says, or at least not yet. She admits that they haven't done so physically, but it's what's in their hearts that really counts. She thinks that's the real connection. One it will never be broken, Nick says. She wants to believe that. Nick reminds her that when they tried to break that bond, it never worked. He takes her hands and tells her that he's there, and they're here. He promises that he will never leave her or her children, ever. The sax version of "Going Back Again" starts to play as they kiss.
