Dante tries to reassure Bridget.
It's a new day, and Dante finds Bridget eating breakfast on their couch. She asks if it's too early to call Felicia so they can pick up Dino, Dante thinks they should let Felicia have time with her son, and he guesses that Dino is still asleep anyway. Bridget says she misses Dino. Dante says he knows. Bridget hopes she doesn't seem insensitive, since Felicia's return was a miracle. Dante sees where she's headed and says that he's still Dino's father. He reminds her that Felicia chose them to raise Dino, so that's still going to happen…

Felicia praises Dr. R. for her new look and his bedside manner.
At the guest house, Christian finds Felicia by Dino's crib and tells her that she shouldn't be out of bed. She thinks Dominick is the best medicine she can have, but Dr. R. says she's had her "dose" of her son and should get back to bed. As he helps her back, he says she's the best patient he's ever had. She tells him that she knows how much she owes him for giving her time with her son, and she wants to make the most of it. Dr. R. notes that Bridget is also very close to her son, so she explains about how Bridget lost her child; the plan, Felicia says, was for her to watch over Nicole in heaven while Bridget watched after Dominick. As if on cue, Bridget calls to say that she and Dante want to come over. Felicia hesitates but says it's OK. She hangs up and tells Christian that she's having visitors. She tells him that she thought that the mohawk was a good idea, but she sees know that it's bound to fall out, so Christian offers to shave the rest. She compliments him on his talent with a razor as he gently shears off the rest of her hair. When he's done, he tells her that she looks beautiful and they kiss. Enjoying the kiss, Felicia compliments her doctor on his bedside manner. Christian admits that he feels like he knows her well from the DVD her mom brought him. That's another reason to thank her mother, she says.

Bridget is stunned by Felicia's words.
When Bridget and Dante arrive, Felicia shows them her new look. They both compliment her on how lovely she looks, even without her hair. Felicia states that Dominick just went down for his morning nap, so he's back on schedule, Bridget says. Felicia admits she was was afraid he'd have stopped listening to his mother by now. Bridget thinks they;ll have to arrange a few more sleepovers soon then. Felicia asks what she means, since Dominick is living here now. Dante and Bridget are both shocked.

Nick confides in Brooke about his worries about his mother.
At the courthouse, Brooke tries to reassure an anxious Nick, who still can't believe that his old man would let his mom rot in jail overnight.

Ridge grows impatient.
Ridge arrives and fumes when he sees Nick and Brooke together; he's about to walk over to them when Massimo spots him and pulls him aside. Mass tells Ridge to cool off and leave; he thinks there's enough focus already on the Marone name thanks to Jacqueline, so there's no need for everyone to see the two brothers fighting over a woman in a courthouse. Ridge is reluctant to go, but Mass promises that he is handling this. Ridge reluctantly agrees to Mass's wishes, but he tells his biological dad to settle this soon, or else he'll do it himself in his own way!

Mass spots Jackie being led to the judge's chambers. He goes over and asks if she considered his offer, looking over to Nick and Brooke. He says this war in the family over a woman has to stop, because Brooke belongs to Ridge. She can't believe that he's treating Brooke like property. He tells her that she knows what's right. If he's asking her to stand between Brooke and their son, Jackie says, it will never happen! She walks away, leaving an upset Massimo standing in the hall. Jackie is then brought into the judge's chambers, where she is uncuffed. She sees Nick and hugs him, thanking him for being her. He promises that she won't spend another night here and introduces her to the top criminal lawyer he's hired, Peter McCoy. Jackie tells the attorney that the FBI agents must have made a mistake in charging her. Nick agrees, but McCoy says that the prosecutor, Ms. Gilmore, would not be here unless she thought she could get a conviction. Jackie asks why no one believes that she's innocent. Proving that is McCoy's job, Nick reminds her.

Eric comes in and hugs Jackie. Massimo enters and takes a seat. Judge Morrisey than comes in and calls them to order. Jackie sits between Nick and Peter, with Eric and Brooke behind them. The Judge reminds them that even though they are in his chambers, everyone should know that they are under oath like they'd be in a courtroom. He asks Ms. Gilmore to read the charges; she says that Jackie is being charged with tax evasion, tax fraud and laundering over $14 million in U.S. currency. Jackie, Nick and Brooke all protest, but Gilmore explains that the evidence came from Jackie's own computer, and it was obtained with a legal warrant. Brooke and Eric protest that this must be a mistake, but Mass asks them to calm down. He then tells the judge that he would like to post Jackie's bail. Jackie looks relieved and even Nick admits he might have been wrong, but then Ms. Gilmore argues that Jackie is a flight risk and should be held without bail!

Massimo speaks on Jackie's behalf.
Nick can't believe his mother, who has never even had a speeding ticket, could be a flight risk. Eric agrees, pointing out Jackie's international reputation. Gilmore points out that Jackie owns a chain of international boutiques, including one near Uruguay, which has no extradition treaty with the US. Nick tries to protest, but the Judge calls them all to order. Mass tells the judge that he was once married to Jackie, and he refuses to let his younger son's mother rot here in jail. He thinks the charges are absurd, since Jackie already has wealth and power, so he is willing to pay any amount to set Jackie free. Gilmore says she has a few questions first. She asks if Mass's divorce from Jackie was amicable. He says that it was, and he made sure that Jackie was well taken care of by giving her not only a handsome settlement, but also control of the Jackie M boutique empire. Was that because she was loyal? Gilmore asks. No, Mass says. Ms. Gilmore asks why he divorced Jackie. Mass admits that she was having an affair. And the man she was having an affair with, Gilmore notes, was Deacon Sharpe, a man with criminal past. Mass says that his investigators informed him of Deacon's past, but he thinks the prosecutor is making too much of Deacon's past. Gilmore and the Judge have to disagree if Jackie was having an affair with a criminal behind Mass's back. Mass says it was not behind his back, as he was in a wheelchair at the time after a stroke, and Deacon forced him to watch the affair. He starts to grow weary of recalling that trying time in his life, so he tells the Judge that he would prefer not to answer any more of these questions.

Nick suggests to McCoy that he turn this around. McCoy asks if what Massimo said is accurate. No one answers. Gilmore then tells the Judge that Jackie broke her marital vows at a time when her husband was at his most vulnerable, by cheating on him with a known criminal past. That's why she thinks Jackie cannot be trusted to keep a promise to remain in the country if she's granted bail. That why she hopes that bail be denied, and that Jacqueline Marone will be held in custody until the completion of her trial. Nick takes Jackie’s hand and Eric touches her shoulder as the Judge prepares to rule. Jackie gets up and promises the Judge that she won't go anywhere. She’s begging him to not put her behind bars.
