Jackie tells Agent Pacheco who her ex-husband is.
Jackie is in her cell, confused and scared about the charges of financial crimes against her. Agent Pacheco comes in. Jackie thinks she's being let out, but he tells her that will have to wait for her bail hearing tomorrow. Jackie says that she hoped to have this straightened out tonight. The agent says he would be happy to oblige; all she has to do to make it happen is confess. Jackie tries to convince the agent she's innocent, but he responds that he's heard it all before. Jackie tells him her husband - or rather, her ex-husband, Massimo Marone, will straighten this out. Massimo is a powerful man, she warns. Pacheco tells her to be careful of what she says, as she doesn't want him to add threatening a federal agent to her list of crimes. He then leaves.

Massimo lets Nick know what he wants in return for his help.
In Nick's office, he tells Massimo that Jackie has to be innocent of the charges against her. The FBI thinks otherwise, Mass says. Nick asks how his pop knows that. Mass asks if Nick thinks he would throw Jackie in jail; Nick points out that Mass is a powerful man who does what he wants. Mass reminds him that he severed all ties with Jacqueline. "Except for me," Nick states. Mass is grateful for that and is just sorry that Jackie's other life choices were so poor. Nick asks if he's talking about Deacon. Massimo tells Nick that Deacon was a criminal, recalling how horribly Deacon treated him after the stroke. Nick sees that Mass hasn't let that go. Massimo sighs. Nick then notes how quiet his pop is. Massimo says he has nothing to say about Deacon Sharpe, especially since they were discussing Jacqueline. Nick says he thought they were discussing how far Massimo would go when crossed. Massimo says that Jackie hasn't crossed him lately. "But I have," Nick points out. Mass nods in agreement but says that he doesn't see the connection. Nick points out that Mass knows how much he (Nick) loves Jackie and Brooke, and Mass equates love with control. Mass says he's concerned about the amount of control Brooke has exerted on... Nick stops him and says that it's not about Brooke, but it's about Massimo's obsession with control! He points out that Mass wants him away from Brooke, but he won't do that. So where does that leave them? he asks.

Nick has one word for Massimo to make his point.
Massimo asks Nick if he feels like a victim. Nick says he's no victim, but he wonders if his father had anything to do with his mother's arrest. Mass says he didn't, and he will also have nothing to do with her release unless Nick changes his tone. Nick says he wants his mother out of jail. They all want something, Mass says, and he wants Nick to respect the traditions of the Marone family, rather than be ruled by hormones like some pubescent! He reminds Nick that he's part of a legacy and points out that dynasties aren't destroyed from without, but from within. Nick stares at Massimo, who recalls how he urged Nick not to let his desire for Brooke cloud his judgment. He will not let Nick interfere with his brother's family. Nick slams his hand down on his desk and wants to talk about family and loyalty; in his case, he wants loyalty for him and his mother. Mass says he will help if Nick walks away from Brooke, but Nick refuses to do that. Mass thinks Nick's made a mistake. Nick thinks Mass has, too, if he thinks he can blackmail him. Blackmail is an ugly word, Mass says. Nick has different word for Mass: ONE, as in the one son Mass will have to carry on his precious legacy if he refuses to help Jackie. Nick turns and leaves, leaving Mass standing there shaking his head.

Ridge and Kristen worry about their mother.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge, Thorne, Kristen and Darla find the living room lit by candlelight. They fear that Stephanie's gone over the edge. Ridge thinks it's downright creepy and says it's time for their mom to move on.

Felicia gets a new haircut, courtesy of her mother.

Meanwhile, Stephanie, Eric, and Dr. Christian Ramirez bring Felicia to the Forrester guesthouse. Dr. R. wants to make sure she's physically ready to handle the family reunion and checks her vitals. Eric and Stephanie step aside, as Eric checks his cell. Stephanie asks if he's checking for a message from Jacqueline. Everything should be worked out by now, Eric says (implying that they know about the arrest). It's not like Jackie has never lied about the IRS, or about being engaged before, Stephanie says. Speaking of which, Eric wants to talk about his engagement, but Stephanie says that can wait, as tonight is about Felicia. They rejoin Felicia, who looks in the mirror and notes that she looks like the living dead. Stephanie runs her hand through Felicia's hair and a big clump falls out. Felicia picks up some scissors from the vanity, hands them to her mom and tells her to cut it all off. If she's losing her hair, she states, she'll do it on her own terms. Stephanie is reluctant, but she takes the scissors and begins to cut. Felicia starts to break down. Stephanie asks Felicia if she's sure, but Felicia says she's not upset about her hair. Rather, she's overwhelmed about seeing everyone! She laugh and cries as Stephanie cuts. Christian commends her for donating her hair to make wigs for child chemo patients; he knows the kids will love it. As Stephanie picks up the clippers, she's reminded of how she used to trim the poodle. Felicia has something to ask; there was something she wanted when she was 12, she recalls, but Stephanie wouldn't let her have it. Stephanie isn't surprised that Felicia wants it now and clips away.

Thorne and Darla worry about Stephanie.
Eric and Stephanie soon after enter the main house, where they find their other kids and Darla. The children think this is disturbing, but Stephanie disagrees. She tells them that Felicia is here. Of course she's there, Kristen says, in their hearts. As Stephanie says that she's trying to tell them something, the doorbell rings. As Stephanie goes to answer it, Eric tells the kids not to worry, but they fear that Stephanie is crazy. Stephanie returns and asks them to understand and forgive her, and she then presents Felicia! Kristin drops her glass as the others are stunned as Felicia is wheeled into the room, her hair cut in a Mohawk with her fingers making a peace sign. She laughs that her new hair must have been too much for them. They all stare at her. Felicia tries to lighten the mood by saying her hair isn't that bad. Ridge, Darla, Thorne and Kristen all ask how this is possible. Stephanie explains how she was unable to let go, so she went in the ambulance with Felicia. When the paramedics found a pulse, she had them take Felicia to the clinic for a liver transplant. Thorne asks why she didn't say anything. Eric explains that Stephanie felt it was best. But why? Kristen asks. Stephanie apologizes if this upsets them, but Felicia's chances were slim, and she didn't want the family to grieve again if Felicia didn't make it.

Eric and Stephanie explain to the family.
Christian explains that he couldn't guarantee that the chemo and the transplant would work. Ridge recalls that Felicia didn't want to go through the chemo anymore. Felicia says that she was fortunate that their mother, as usual, didn't give a damn about what she wants. Ridge asks if she's OK; she quips that she'll be around long enough to get on their nerves again. Ridge turns to Stephanie and thanks God that she didn't give up. Felicia quips that their mother just wanted to have the last word. She also reminds them how her handsome doctor brought her back. On the one hand, she thinks she should be angry with Dr. R. for that, since he he gypped her out of seeing heaven. But after reflecting. she tells him to forget that, since she has heaven right here with her family and couldn't leave.
