Dante and Bridget tell Felicia of their plans.
Bridget and Dante drop by the Forrester mansion and are thrilled to find Felicia making her way around the living room with the help of a walker. Felicia admits she's getting better, but she knows it will take time. She guesses that Bridget and Dante have come to see Dominick and tells them that Stephanie is bathing him upstairs. While they wait, Bridget and Dante tell Felicia that they're taking a ten day trip to Italy. They wanted to go for a whole month, Bridget explains, but they decided that was too long. She just wishes Felicia was strong enough to come, too. Felicia says it's better this way, anyway, as she wouldn't want to be a third wheel while the Italian Stallion shows her sister the sights of Italy. Bridget tells Felicia not to worry; Felicia asks why she'd worry. Bridget replies that there will be a whole slew of relatives who will be waiting to meet him. To meet Dante? Felicia asks. Not Dante, Bridget responds, but Dino, since Dante wants to take his son to meet his family. Felicia asks why she's just hearing about this now. Bridget says that Stephanie was supposed to tell her. Felicia says that her mother didn't say anything. She tells Bridget that she's sorry, but her son is staying right here! Dante says that his family wants to meet his son, but Felicia won't hear of it, even when Dante offers to cut the trip to a week.

Felicia begs Bridget not to take Dominick out of the country now.
Bridget thinks that Felicia can use the time while they're away to regain her strength, but Felicia says that she gets her strength from her son. Bridget says that she knows that Dino is a handful; his name is Dominick! Felicia retorts, shocking Bridget and Dante. Felicia thinks it's cool that they want to take Dominick to Dante's homeland, but it will have to wait. Even though her cancer is in remission, she doesn't know how long she has, and she wants to spend every moment she can with her son. Dante says that his parents aren't getting any younger. Then why not bring them to L.A.? Felicia asks. Bridget sends Dante to pick up some neck rests for the plane ride, so she can have some time alone with Felicia. Once he leaves, Felicia begs Bridget not to take her son away right now. Bridget says she understands what they're asking Felicia, but she's sure that the time they're away will fly by. Felicia says they're not asking her, they're telling her. She also thinks a week without her son will feel like a year. Bridget doesn't want to deprive her sister, but at the same time, she hears the pride and joy in Dante's voice when he talks with his family on the phone about his son. She reminds Felicia that Dante is that baby's father, so letting him take the boy to Italy is the right thing to do. Crying, Felicia asks for a few days to think about it. Bridget says that they're leaving tomorrow night.

Megan tries to apologize to Nick.
In Massimo's office, Nick confronts Massimo and Megan. He says it was smart for his pop to use Brooke's best friend. Mass says that his relationship with Megan is not Nick's concern, but Nick disagrees. Megan tries to explain to Nick, but Mass hushes her. Nick says that Megan doesn't have to say anything, because he knows what they did to his mother, and what they tried to do to him and Brooke. But they failed. Mass states that Brooke and her son belong with Ridge, the boy's father. Nick says that Brooke is not a commodity to be bought or sold. he hopes Megan understands that, too. Megan apologizes, stating that she never meant for his mother to go to jail. She knows he loves Brooke, but she thinks Ridge is the only man who has really ever made Brooke happy. That's why she helped Massimo, but then things kept getting worse until it was too late. Nick says that his attorneys will contact her, to make sure she does the right thing. She says again that she's sorry and leaves.

Massimo warns Nick that his being with Brooke will curse their family.
Mass recalls how he took Nick into the business and made him wealthy, and how he built Jackie M. And now Nick repays him by defying his one single request. Nick says Mass isn't God to the family, but Mass says he is. Nick disagrees. Mass says that Nick fooling around with his nephew's mother will curse the family, but Nick thinks Mass is the curse, because of what he did to Jackie. Mass reminds Nick of the hell Jackie put him through, with Deacon taunting him. He says that he doesn't want to hurt Nick, but he feels that Brooke and Ridge will find their way back to each other, as they did before. That's why he wants Nick to let go of Brooke, before it's too late. He doesn't think Nick can fight what's between Brooke and Ridge. What's between them, Nick says, is betrayal, suffering and disappointment. Mass asks if Nick sees how Brooke goes from one man to the next, but she always goes back to Ridge. Not this time, replies Nick. Mass again says he's only trying to protect Nick, who sees his father's power fading. Mass says that Nick doesn't know what real power is. Nick picks up the red phone, puts it in front of Mass and tells him to release Jackie.

Jackie is stunned when she learns what Massimo and Megan did.
Soon after, Nick arrives at the jail to tell his mother that she's coming home. Jackie hugs him and says that she knew he'd given his father an ultimatum. and he was determined to prove that she'd been framed. But she never thought he could do it. Nick tells her how Megan planted false information in her computer which the FBI found. Jackie comments that Mass is evil for doing this to her. And in the end, she thinks Mass hasn't accomplished anything, because Ridge will never have Brooke.

Ridge asks an over-medicated Brooke to heal their relationship.
At Brooke's house, Ridge continues to kiss and caress an unresponsive Brooke, who tries to pull away from him. He tells her that it's OK; he knows that he came close to losing her, but he wants her to know that he's learned his lesson and will never take her for granted again. He thinks he knows her better than ever now, which is why he's the only one who can give her what she needs. She starts to stand up and says his name, but she falls forward. Ridge takes that as a sign of how the two of them communicate with each other; he tells her to just hold him and love him. Let it happen, he says. Brooke pulls away and makes her way to the desk. She tells Ridge that she can't handle this now, not on top of everything with her father. Ridge tells her that Stephen misses her. She comments that it doesn't make it right. Ridge walks over to her and tells her to let him help her fix her relationship with her father; he knows it won't happen overnight, but it needs to heal, just like they do. He starts to caress her again and says that he wants to be a positive force in her life again, since ,there's nothing they can't when they're together. A distraught Brooke tells him that she has to be alone; she can't have this conversation. She pulls away and walks upstairs. He starts to follow, but she stops him. She says she's sorry, but she can't deal with this now, and she then heads upstairs.

Ridge slips into bed with a non-responsive Brooke.
Brooke goes up and prepares a bath; before she gets in the tub, she takes another pill. After she gets out of the tub, she drops her towel, climbs into bed and closes her eyes. Meanwhile, Ridge is still downstairs; he heads up and enters Brooke's bedroom, and he kisses a sleeping, non-responsive Brooke on her cheek. He then gets undressed and climbs into bed with Brooke. Brooke weakly asks what he's doing, her eyes barely open. Ridge holds her and tells her that they need this. He wants her to know that he loves her so much. Brooke is completely non-responsive and appears to be out of it as Ridge tells her that their lives will fall into place again if she just lets it happen. He kisses her as she puts her head on the pillow.
