Hector brings Taylor a gift.
Taylor is getting settled into her old office with help from her assistant, Margaret. Margaret tells her that they kept the office as it was over the last five years, even when they had an associate here. Just then, Hector pops up at the door; he doesn't have an appointment, but he has a potted plant for Taylor. As Margaret leaves, Taylor tells Hector how good it feels to be back at work. Hector thinks she's the kind of person who likes to help others. She agrees that she saves lives, just like him, albeit in a different way. It means a lot to her to make a difference in people's lives. Hector gives her the plant he brought, just as Ridge comes in and asks what's going on. Hector says that he just came by to wish Taylor luck. Ridge finds it odd that everyone knew his wife was back at work but him; he had to find out from their kids. Taylor says that she made a decision. Without consulting him, Ridge frets. Hector tells Ridge to go easy on Taylor, but Ridge tells him to go fight some fires. Taylor thanks Hector for stopping by and he leaves.

Ridge tells Taylor his idea.
Ridge asks Taylor what's going on. She says that she needed to get back to work; she thinks it will be good for all of them. Being back in this office, she feels like she never left. But she did leave, Ridge reminds her, so she can't just come back in and pick up where she left off. He reminds her of her desire to work on their marital problems and to spend time with their kids. The girls are at school during the day, she reminds him, and Thomas moved out. Speaking of Thomas, Ridge says that he found their son, and they decided to settle their differences in Forrester fashion, on the runway. If he wins - and he's sure he will - Thomas will annul his marriage and quit Spectra. And what if Thomas wins? Taylor asks. Then Thomas stays at Spectra, Ridge replies, and they will accept Gaby into their family. Taylor finds that unacceptable, even when Ridge assures him that he will win. She asks what kind of message this sends to Thomas. She doesn't think this is the way to teach their son responsibility. Ridge says he had to do something, since Thomas was planning to skip college to work full time at Spectra. He's sure he can beat someone with their son's limited experience. This isn't about who will win, Taylor says. Ridge tells her that Sally was so sure that he'd win that she leveled the playing field by having them both design a line for teens, in an attempt to give Thomas an advantage. But if Thomas wins, Taylor points out, they'll have to welcome Gaby into their family, and that's something she will never do!

Big Brother's Marcellas plays a Forrester employee.
In Brooke's office at Forrester, Megan goes over her boss's busy schedule. She tells Brooke that Micah is running late with the cruise line pitch. As Megan reminds Brooke of the last of her appointments today, Micah (Big Brother's Marcellas Reynolds) comes in with a pair of models dressed in nautically themed outfits. He tells Brooke his plan to market the line: the woman wearing the Forrester cruise line will feel like she's at sea on a dark and stormy night, with a handsome but rugged Captain there to see the woman through her romantic voyage. The description of Micah's fantasy sales pitch reminds Brooke of the recent night where she tried to stop Nick from killing himself on his boat. She remembers telling Nick that he, not Ridge, is the man she's meant to be with.

Bridget confides in her mom.
Later, as Brooke goes about her work, Bridget stops by. Brooke says that she's really busy, so Bridget offers to leave. Brooke assures her daughter that she always has time for her and tells her to stay. Bridget says that she's here to talk about the other night. She was glad to see Brooke having a good time with Dante. She admits that she was a bit worried at first, because she feared Nick might be jealous or angry. She starts to say more, but then stops. Brooke comments that things have been strained between them lately, so she wants Bridget to know that she can always open up to her. Bridget agrees; she tells her mother that she and Nick went back to the boat after they left the pool and made passionate love. It was like nothing she'd ever experienced before, with Nick taking her places that she never thought she could go to. And after that, he told her that he was never going back again. He was done searching. On the darkest night of his life, he'd found the truth he was looking for. Bridget is all giddy talking about this, but Brooke thinks about Nick's choice of words and realizes what he meant. Megan comes in to get some numbers from Brooke for accounting, so Bridget says that she'll be going. She just wanted her mom to know that she and Nick have put all their baggage behind them and have come out stronger. Brooke is happy for her daughter; she's sure Bridget will have a wonderful life with Nick.

Brooke realizes that she's never "going back again."
After Bridget leaves, Brooke is alone on the couch, crying. She again recalls telling Nick that he is the man she's meant to be with. She starts to remember all the happy times she spent with Nick, as "Going Back Again" plays in the background.

Dante pays Nick a visit.
Nick is in his office at Marone. His assistant, Andrea, comes in and tells him that he has a visitor. He thinks it's one of their captains and tells Andrea to show him in, so he's surprised to see that it's Dante! Nick has nothing to say to Dante, but Dante has something to tell Nick. Nick takes an hour glass and turns it upside down, telling Dante to go ahead before the sand runs out. Dante says that Brooke is an amazing woman, giving up the man she loves to make her daughter happy. He thinks that shows character, just like it showed character for Nick to hold it together by the pool for Bridget's sake. Still, he wonders how long it will be before Bridget learns how Nick feels about Brooke. Nick tells Dante, for his information, that he's asked a captain friend over to his boat tonight to marry him and Bridget. They're finally going to get it over with. That sounds so romantic, Dante quips, to say that they're "getting it over with." Nick reminds Dante that he's made this trip three times already. Dante asks how he can be committed to Bridget when he loves Brooke. Nick tells Dante that he is fully committed to Bridget and their child. And as far as Dante's charade with Brooke goes, Nick warns that the show is over. Dante asks Nick why he cares about who Brooke is with if he's committed to Bridget. Nick warns him to stay away from Brooke.

Nick tells Bridget his plans.
Dante leaves. Shortly after, Bridget stops by and asks Nick if she should swab the floor or wind the sails. It's swabbing the deck and hoisting the sales, Nick laughs. She asks where he would be without his sassy wench. That's SAUCY wench, he says. Bridget says it doesn't matter, since she's still floating from last night. Nick agrees that last night was amazing. Bridget says she was so excited about it that she went over to tell her mom how incredible it was. She thinks her mom really appreciated hearing about it, since it gave them the chance to be close like best friends again. She's so glad that she has her mom to confide in, she has the man she loves and she has her baby. She feels like their life is complete. But it isn't, Nick says - but it will be tonight when his captain friend comes over to the boat to marry them. Bridget is surprised at the suddenness and asks if this is about the baby. If he's going to be the best father in the world, Nick says, they have to be married. Bridget seems surprised. It's not like it's the first time, Nick says. No, Bridget agrees, it isn't. However, she wants it to be just as wonderful as the first time, so she takes off her ring and hands it to him.
Nick says, "Bridget Forrester, I love you. Will you marry me?" Bridget puts her arms around him, kisses him and repeats over and over that she will. She thinks it feels wonderful to have all this drama behind them. They're never going back again. As an instrumental version of "Going Back Again" plays, Nick repeats, "Never again."
